  1. "hanging out!" theesir, Rockpile, and I ended up putting on a show when the line for portapotties was longer than we could wait. I'm glad that cop car that passed by didn't stop!
  2. Actually I love the fact that Van Miller was the most objective guy out there. It's what made him one of the best. When I watch Inside The NFL (which is rare the last couple of years) I hate hearing radio teams that openly root for "their" team or actually cheer.
  3. I'll never forget that game. Week 5, 1975. Bills 4-0 going into it and playing the Giants on MNF. Our offense had been averaging 37 points a game. We go into the dumper, lose 17-14, and only win 4 games the rest of the year. As for games at the swamplands, I've heard of people having problems but I myself have never had any.
  4. I love my seats. Every year I consider trying to move but I never do it.
  5. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writ...mmqb/index.html Unless something has changed since we played the Steelers in Pittsburgh in the playoffs all those years ago, the Steelers radio booth is one of the least objective bunch of homers in the league. And Cope was unlistenable even before any throat surgery. I'm always sad to hear of someone in physical distress, but best color men in any sport ever?!?!?!?! No. Of course, he makes up for this with his bang-on evaluation of Willis:
  6. Those who do not learn from history are billsfanone to repeat it. Fortunately the coaching staff realizes they screwed the pooch on that one and do seem to have learned so that it doesn't get repeated.
  7. If that was a winter concert it would've been a Great White Buffalo!
  8. I didn't see anything in the paper...
  9. That was only 14 minutes
  10. Apparently he landed on someone because security stayed there long after the guy was taken away. Moron
  11. Her seats are on the tunnel (downwind) end so I figured I'd see much more of the good stuff yesterday - almost the entire game was played down there against the Cards and the wind was not much less nasty yesterday. So what happens down at my end of the field? Willis' TD. The punt OOB and the safety. Mike Williams' injury. Milloy's pick. The fumble/recovery/return. Oh well. It was worth it to sit with my honey!
  12. That's the only thing that's been lacking in Moorman's game, IMHO. Too many punts down the middle and into the end zone. Whether by coaching or preference, he hasn't put the ball out of bounds inside the 20 all that often. He had a huge smile on his face after getting up from being blasted on that last punt. The guy's a playa!!!
  13. Let's get those hijackers and spyware guys next! Build more prisons!
  14. I'm there!
  15. But many of us record them...
