Half this list would be WR1 in Buffalo if they were still playing lol.

Hard to make a worse point

    9 of them. Really.

    Which 9?

Last time Bills traded up for a WR?

I believe it was when they took Sammy Watkins.  How do you feel about that?

Like hell, actually. It makes me nervous, doubly so given the guys Beane's rolled out there at WR in the past.

We DON'T have the $$$ for that. Aiyuk wants to get paid, likely in the $25M-$30M range, and Jefferson has already turned down a $30M per year offer. This team doesn't really have that many holes. CB depth, S depth, another LB, 3-Tech DT depth. A trade up for a TRUE alpha WR, one of the big 3, is not going to hurt us at all.

trade down or stay put/bpa it is then

I love Odunze.  If we can't land him, I kinda hope we double up on McConkey and Worthy.  Adding them gives us 3 WR's who run 4.3 and below - 40's.

McConkey can play the outside and Worthy was predominantly outside.

This speed stretches the defenses.  If Allen had the Dolphins speed and with Kincaid in the middle....erection.

I like that. Think that could happen after a trade-down?

The 1st round has a bust rate of roughly 50%.  Most hits are in the top 10.  Which means it starts declining from there.

I would think with this WR data, the other positional groupings probably aren't much better in the mid to late first round.

Tompsett had a correlating tweet showing success rates by position. WR was at the bottom.

Aiyuk was a second team all pro last season. The pro bowl is meaningless in comparison.

Whiiiich is why I'd rather trade the first for him than trade up!

    My preference in order:

    1. Trade Down
    2. Trade First for a proven WR (Aiyuk, Higgins, someone)
    3. Stay put and draft BPA

In no circumstance to I trust Beane's ability to pick the right guy after trading the farm to move up, and I just don't think a guy like Thomas is worth it.

Agree with the idea that teams will try to fleece Beane.  But Beane has a counter - it is a deep draft and I am not punished that much if I wait.  I am not pro trade-up, but I am hoping that if he tries Beane is too smart to get fleeced.

It's not really that deep at WR

It's three deep for the legit talents, and then there's a falloff after that. for that reason, i advocate a trade down, see if you can pick up a second or two thirds and take your chance there.

You've never seen a team with an elite quarterback lose a lot of players in an offseason and then perform poorly the following year or two while their replacements get acclimated?

best case scenario we're looking at a Pats 2009 type scenario where we bounce back after a year off.

which is why months ago, I was advocating for cutting von miller, too and eating that whole ***** sandwich this year

alllllll the dead cap all at once, anyone who's trying to convince themselves that this year is our year is fooling themselves.

I think that when you have Allen at QB then yes, you are a contender.

KC has done more with less at WR, and there is no reason why the Bills can survive and thrive without Diggs.

We just need to get the work done this offseason, adding young talent, and a few cap casualty cast-offs.

Sure so Cook and Kincaid are not top 10 at respective positions?? Possible he Shakir wont  be but he was #1 in % of targets to catches with essentially a half season of snaps. Guys who are always open and catch the ball are a threat. But you could be right. The Bills don’t have a Dominant must contain pass receiver that is true.

Again I say Kincaid could become a guy that gives DCs fits, but he's gotta become more than an intermediate receiver and show some big play ability.
