  1. They also allowed stellar <eyeroll> players to move on like TE Shawn Nelson, Donte Whitner, Demetress (2nd string in philly) Bell, Brian Brohm, Marshawn Lynch, Marcus Stroud, Drayton Florence, Jonathan Stupar,Chris Ellis, Roscoe Parrish, Poz, the list goes on. Theres hits and misses in the NFL and every team has them. It doesnt make you a drooling idiot to give Buddy and Chan credit if you feel theyre better at positions now by swapping out better players. The worst of the drooling idiots left when Donahoe and Dick Jauron finally were purged and 2 guys who live and breathe football were paired together. I feel strongly that the Bills ship is being righted and its back on course.
  2. Guys who looked good: Agreed on Brooks. Thought he looked like a solid player. Roosevelt continues to be boring and just get open and catch the ball. Kyle Williams is back to having those incredibly quick first couple of steps. The Bills finally have a CONSISTENT KO specialist. I hope they keep John Potter. VY looked like hes finally starting to get Chans system. TJ Graham can develop into a game breaking weapon with his outside speed. Shawn Powell boomed punts again but also pooched 1 inside the 20 Aussie style. 36 yo Moorman may actually face a challenge. Who Didnt Look Good: Tashard Choice. Can we please get rid of this 2-3 YPC guy who is only here because he played college ball for Chan ? Aaron Maybin. I just had to include him on this list out of habit. Thigpen and Brad Smith. 2 of the worst throws ever. LBers as a group were not good and did not fill gaps. Is Marcus Easley still on the team ? Goodbye Torrell Troup. Not being able to play with injuries will end his Bills career. Too bad as he had promise. On to game 3 of the preseason where teams actually try to win this game and set a tone.
  3. Its entirely possible that Troup gets cut but I have a feeling he'll get IR then get waived eventually. You just hate to see the Bills nswing and miss on guys drafted high like troup and carrington. In the big picture they have contributed much less than the Jills on a cold perky day. Just because
  4. I think Anderson was 0 for 7 in the presesason on FG attempts and Chuck Knox had to cut him. He was born in S Africa which according to Shark Week on Discovery HD makes him one of the few S Africans to escape death by shark. That turned out fairly well for Pittsburgh. He who attended James Madison was only a 73% kicker over his career and was in the 63-68% range the last 3-4 years . Please dont use the "N" word.
  5. Forgot about Dempsey. He gets Bartman status for missing that 34 yarder at Rich stadium in a driving rain that extended the Fins record win streak against the Bills.
  6. If you look at the homepage, its a Buffalo Bills Forum. That usually means that people who are signed in are allowed to discuss whatever they wish (within reason) both pro and con. Are you a member of the thought police who feels the need to make everyone fall in line with your way of thinking and put a happy face on Ronnie Harmon, Marshawn, Walt Patulski, Maybin, Donte Whitner etc ? Theres 4 guys that flame out for every success story in the NFL and it would certainly be a boring forum if everyone blew sunshine up the a$$es of all of the Bills players and coaches 24/7/365
  7. Steve Christie or Rian Lindell ? http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/chrisste01.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/L/linderia01.htm My vote goes to Christie for many clutch kicks, his onside and directional kickoffs and the 58 yarder he hit during a monday night game vs. Dullfins in the 90's. But Lindell has also been money and very dependable. Demerits and lashes given to anyone mentioning a certain kicker from James Madison.
  8. I think Bob Corkum had a better career in Buffalo than "Mayhem".
  9. I remember being at the game and laughing as the Bills center Wil Grant seemed to be tackling Lawrence Taylor on every play. Heres some quotes from that day with link below: New York’s Lawrence Taylor, one of the few players to cross the picket line, had about a half-dozen sacks and even played some tight end. Will Grant, a former Bills’ center, brought as a “strike player” was charged with blocking Taylor that day, and drew a flurry of flags. As Grant came off the field after the final one, frustrated coach Marv Levy allowed, “Will, that’s five holding penalties …” And Grant famously responded, “It’s not that bad coach, I’ve been holding him every play.” http://www.oleantimesherald.com/sports/article_58109bea-71f6-5e96-bf43-587f92d59f0d.html
  10. Now thats a true man who can admit a wrong. Props to you sir !
  11. Cant we all just get along here and agree to disagree ? Calling someone an idiot basically screams out "I have run out of adjectives, nouns and pronouns and so I now resort to name calling". Nanny nanny booboo.
  12. It must be something in the water in Philadelphia. They offer insane contracts in every sport to guys that cant possibly live up to the hype. Shea Weber, Moyer, Halladay, Lee, Bell, .....
  13. Yes, I'm quite sure Bolt is sitting in London right now saying he would love to leave the warmth of Jamaica and many million$ in appearance fees to come to tropical Buffalo in the wintertime.
