Can anyone think of a 3 way QB race that has been this close? It's kind of crazy that a case could be made for all 3.

Both QBs played well last night. But EJ had almost zero help. It seemed almost every play was a jail break. A few dropped catchable balls. And there was absolutely no running game. I think I only counted one positive running play when EJ was in there. The pass to Thompson in the endzone was a dime.

Good stuff yolo. Encouraging stuff on the OG play and good to see Kujo improving also. RJ definitely looks the part. Hate to say, but it appears Goodwin IS a track star playing football and not vise versa. Yes he can open up the defense, but his ball skills are awful. Karlos Williams is a BEAST!

I was down on EJ last year and mostly still to this point. I thought he did some good things and that pass gave me a little hope. Even though it was preseason against nobody's, he looked like a pro qb should look.So many people want to claim that EJ is not being treated fairly.
Why is that? Why are so many fans so resistant to him being the guy?
It's easy: because we've seen him fail and look pitiful for two seasons now. One nice deep pass doesn't change that.

Well that's not so bad.He had 4 catches for 90 yards and a 27-yard TD that game...2 catches (one of which was the TD) came against Darby. Darby did manage to break up a would-be TD thrown to Dorsett on the ensuing series. The other catch was a first down midway through the 3rd quarter.

Hoping the d line doesn't face a similar collapse without Dareus in the lineup. Charles needs to step up.

Dang MJD put on a few lbs. Hopefully Percy stays healthy and happy. The guy is explosive, no doubt. And I really hope we see him AND Sammy on plenty of jet sweeps and bubble screens.
The move at 3:25 doesn't seem humanly possible.
