I would say this is very borderline. His helmet looks to hit mostly chest maybe a little chin. I feel like it could have been called either way. Kind of reminds me of the Nigel Bradham hit.

 

[Criticism of Wanny]

Yeah the Jets game was frustrating to watch. I was wondering why the corners were playing so soft. It doesn't make any sense. All it did was negate the pass rushers because Sanchez would just pick them apart for 7 yard gainers all day. The KC game is how this defense needs to play. Aggressive. press the receivers and force the QB to make a difficult pass. And when his 1st and 2nd reads are in tight coverage let the dline kill. I'm glad that Wanny adjusted, it would've been nice to see it maybe during halftime of game 1 though.

First time poster here. But I check this site and message board multiple times a day. Great analysis. I definitely think I'm going to be getting NFL rewind. I was shocked to see Weeden's week 2 stat line after his week 1 performance. I agree with you that Buffalo should open up the pass a little bit more, as I'm sure Cleveland will be geared towards trying to stop the run. But it's also scary to put the game in Fitz's hands as well.

 

I'm hoping our Dline can wreak havoc early and rattle the rookie QB and take an early lead to try to get them away from the running game.
