I thought it was just a sprain. So I'm bummed. I fully expected him to play next Sunday with a brace. Now what do we do? If Tuel starts I'm not even going to watch the game
-
Was kind of surprised by this move. I wonder who they will bring in. Powell needs to learn how to play the position but I think he can still be a good punter. He just needs to figure out that hang time and punt placement is often much more important than distance. It seems like he goes out there and just tries to kick it as far as he can
-
And you are a downgrade for starting a new topic when there are already a few out there on the subject
-
He needs to learn how to play the position. Hang time is just as important if not more important than distance. That's something Moorman understood
-
+1 glad they sat himGood. If he's ready to go, trade him.

Should have braced it up and played in THIS GAME. EJ on 1 leg is better than Tuel
-
I thought the title was sarcastic. You can't really think they are a good team. They are mediocre at best as are we. With EJ in there we win this game. I think they have an opportunity to be a good team next year though. Cleveland has a ton of picks in next yrs draft. If they can figure out the QB situation then they might be a contender in the years to come
-
We are in trouble if EJ is hurt. Tuel looked horrible. I blame the coaches for not having a solid backup plan. Especially on a team where the starting qb runs the option! Freeman isn't the answer though. He's immature and he wants to go to a team where he can start. Before tonight I would have thought Cleveland might be a good fit for him but they didn't need any help tonight

Please get a real backup QB. Why did we cut TJ? Clearly there are better options out there
-
Never has a 3 point game been so out of reach. The story here is the Browns had a legit backup and we don't. That's all folks

Tuel is terrible. We lose because we don't have a legit backup.

Tuel looks like a deer in headlights

You guys still like williams at corner? Reminds me of last year when I was pleading for them to put him at safety. Gilmore can't get back soon enough
-
Special teams blew this one. 2 big punt returns and the momentum swung. Where was the contain man?

Friends from out of state texting me..."same old Bills."

Kick it out of bounds! Wtf

Any news on McKelvin?
And I heard that out of respect the Browns have already thrown an interception to Kiko before the game has even started
-
I agree, both teams are pretty evenly matched up with a slight edge to the Bills for what should be the much better offense if they play up to their potential. The Browns are trying to make it work with a 3rd string QB and a RB that hasn't been good in years. We should definitely be able to hold them to under 20 points for sure. The question is what can the Bills offense do vs a very tough Cleveland defense? If we can get things rolling early on offense then I think we wil be in good shape. If we get behind and make EJ try and do too much then we will be in trouble. Establish the run early and it will open up things in the secondary for Stevie and Woods

I don't know of a draft class that's had this big of an immediate impact. Especially if Goodwin can be a playmaker when he comes back (even if only on special teams)
-
is McKelvin playing Thurs? or are we still Aaron Williams + Rogers or Burton?
-
lol at this thread. I like Nelson as a person and I think he did some great things here (was sad to see him go). i think he will be a good pick up for them (unfortunately). but with Geno throwing the ball to the other team as much as his own receivers, hopefully he won't make a big impact with the Jets and move on to a non divisional rival
-
do we want Byrd back there? is he going to be at full speed? is it going to take him a few quarters to shake the rust off? I feel like with the way Leonhard and Searcy have been playing, Byrd has become expendable. trade him for a 2nd round pick!
