  1. Standing in the shotgun and saying here is the ball now try and run up the middle seems to be Hackett's favorite play. Unfortunately that play is terrible and that's not the kind of back CJ is. They need to give him the ball on counters, pitches, end arounds, and screens. He needs to work in space and use his speed. It's pretty obvious to everyone besides Hackett apparently

  2. I don't know what you guys like so much about Kiko. Every time they busted a big run it was because he was getting shoved out of the way instead of plugging the hole. He's good sideline to sideline and in pass protection, I'll give you that. He's a rookie so there's the potential to get better too. But unfortunately once again a no name RB ran for a career high against us. I'm not ready to give any game balls to the defense on a day like today.

Other thoughts... Rogers should get cut immediately, that was just embarrassing. On the offensive side, EJ was just throwing the ball up in the air and hoping it would miraculously come down in someone's hands. CJ was dancing in the hole. I'm trying hard to think of something positive but that was a bad loss to a bad team unfortunately. Hopefully they learn from this in some way and get better

I wish Robert Woods will start getting more recognition. This guy has played two outstanding games for the Buffalo Bills and so has Kiko Alonzo.

Woods is silently killing teams. They can't focus on Stevie anymore which helped to open up Stevie for his big game last week. So even though Woods is doing well stats-wise, it's the hidden value (allowing Stevie to make plays) that's really going to help our team.

Kiko was sub par in the first game. I didn't watch the all 22 of the 2nd game but with the D line dominating the way they did, it probably made it a lot easier on him so he probably did well. I still think he can be a really good player (the fact he is an every down player as a rookie is obviously a good sign of things to come). I think he is still raw but with Pettine I'm sure they will mold him into a great player.

Overall, being able to trade back and still get EJ PLUS also an extra pick and getting both Woods and Kiko in round 2, man for once it looks like we did really well in the draft and those players are making an immediate impact!

  4. yes, yes it could be. we dont know and "i find it hard to believe" doesnt really mean anything. it also could be at risk for turning into a more devastating injury if he decides to risk it.

just like we hear "sprain" and it could be something you play through or something that sidelines you for months. thats the problem with comparing him to mario right now.

I understand, that's why I'm saying it shouldn't be up to him. We own him for the short term. I'm not thinking long term as he has made it clear he wants to go elsewhere. I would like to see the Bills put it out there that he's cleared to play and if he doesn't then that just looks poorly on him. I think he would want to get back on the field sooner if the issue was pressed a little more

  5. where are the doctors clearing him to play? id guess, if the team really wanted to force it and thought he was faking wed start seeing some vague quotes about him being clear floated to the media by "sources"

I haven't seen anything clearing him or not, but we all know Mario is playing with the same injury and was a monster last week. Is Byrd really that much worse? I find it hard to believe and I would like to see the Bills force the issue and get him on the field sooner rather than later. He's only here for the short term so might as well get our money's worth out of him
