Need to declare yourself as draft eligible. They also have a supplemental draft if you miss the original draft. All of the teams get a chance at you. Hardly anyone is ever picked in the supplemental draft but you have to give them the opportunity in the correct draft order. I'm still waiting for my phone to ring

The problem with this thinking is that they assume everyone is good. There is evil in the world. Accepting gangs into your country isn't being kind, it's making it unsafe for people who actually need protection.

He had 1 more season of eligibility as per the article. You give up your eligibility when you declare for the draft. I do think if you go undrafted you should have a chance to go back to school (assuming you still have eligibility). I feel bad for kids that get bad advice and come out early and blow their future.

If he goes undrafted he should try and get back into college and go into the transfer portal. He will make a ton of money plus if he played for an SEC school he might actually prove he can play (or not). He hasn't been all that successful in college and his supporters will say yea because Colorado isn't very good. Well let's see him play for the Alabama's or Florida's of the world where he will have no excuses

Biggest needs: WR, S, Big DT, P, LB Trouble in later rounds is finding guys that will make the roster. You don't want to draft someone who is going to get cut.

I absolutely hate the trade up and I'm not crazy about the player either. I'm going to pretend that they stayed and got Sanders and Jackson at their original spots in round 2. I think Jackson will be a much better player and they got him at a great value. I would have been happy with him as our pick at 62 either way.

If he stayed in school and transferred I don't doubt he would break the bank in the portal, probably $10 mil + to acquire his services. That's more than any QB outside of round 1 would make and would rival what he would make if he got drafted where people thought he might.

What are the chances he goes undrafted? Who wants to draft him and then deal with all of the noise from a rookie backup QB that won't even play? I'd like to hear a case for which team he would fit on. There's 0% chance the Bills would draft him as a backup for instance. He's not a "Bills DNA" guy and he would just be a distraction. Wherever he goes, the TV cameras will follow and his dad will make a stink about him not playing. I think he should try and sue the NCAA to allow players that are undrafted to go back to school. Then maybe go to a good school to prove that he can actually play. He will make 10 times in the ncaa transfer portal than he could as a 2nd or 3rd string NFL QB.
