I've made the point previously (and been flamed for it) that Tyrod's mobility, as well as his tendency to stretch out the pocket, takes pressure off the left side. Subsequently, with Glenn, Cog, Wood on the left, opposing defenses rarely attack on the left, making Mills' job that much harder. I agree that Mills is better than given credit, and so, apparently, does McD.

Rex has hot takes on his 2 exes, the Bills and Jets
Rocky Landing replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought the way Rex developed Darby was one of the few things he did right. To not understand why we traded Ragland means he either isn't paying attention to the scheme change, or he doesn't understand the scheme change, or he doesn't understand Ragland's strengths, and weaknesses. Or he's trolling. Who knows? A pretty bad look, in any event, for an ESPN analyst. -

Youse guys even suck at sucking

I think he jumped off the Jets bandwagon when the wheels fell off, then climbed onto the Pats* wagon. -

We don't need to suck. We're the Bills. -
I agree. Duke made some really dumb mistakes, as I recall. Always liked Rambo. Kinda sorry to see Metz go. PS candidate?

I hate it when people just lie on this site. You obviously didn't check Amazon, or you would have found this: https://www.amazon.com/Football-Quarterbacks-Collection-Set-Including/dp/B01KN2VS1E/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1503119330&sr=8-3&keywords=Stud+QB But, by all means, it you want to keep peddling your anti-Amazon agenda, be my guest.

If that method of agenda peddling isn't against the Stadium Wall T&C, it should be.

Can't argue with this. I agree with the sentiment completely. Personally, I have been coming to this board for years, mostly reading, occasionally posting, to learn about football, and the Bills. But, it's getting harder to sift through the endless, and I'll have to say, childish, back-and-forths of internet snarkiness, and cliched insult. I think it's important to ignore some posters, and Crusher would certainly fall into that category.

Who are you going to watch now that Bills suck
Rocky Landing replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Born and raised in Rochester, but have been living in Los Angeles since '91. Last season, when the Rams moved to LA, I thought that maybe they could be my secondary team, and I could become a Rams fan, as well as a Bills fan. I tried. I really did. But, it just didn't work. I was so looking forward to a healthy Watkins, and a repaired defense. Oh, well... I'm still looking forward to Streater. I'm waiting to see if Daikiel Shorts continues to impress, and makes a spot for himself on this team. I'm wondering if McD sees Trae Elston as potential starting material. He impressed the hell out of me on Thursday. Watkins isn't the first player that I have been pissed was cut, and he won't be the last. And, if I end up hating McD, he won't be the first HC I've hated. I wanted to throw Dick Jauron into the Niagara River-- above the falls, of course. There are threads like this every season. My one, and only warning point was from a response to a thread like this. That thread sucked, and so does this one. Bills forever. -
How About A Thread For Those Cooling Off A Bit?

LA Times EJ Gaines Article 7/31
Rocky Landing replied to gobillsatthebeach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't call the LA Times fake news. It's a legit newspaper. But, local newspapers write puff pieces on their players all the time. Buffalo is no exception. Los Angeles would love for Goff to reach his draft expectations, and the LA Times reflects that. Is The Buffalo News a legit source on the Bills? To a degree. But, they're biased towards their team, just like we all are. The Rams have the distinction that they are trying to find their identity, and the biases that the local media have will reflect that, as well. -
Rams' fan reaction to Sammy trade
Rocky Landing replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I live in Los Angeles, and I would say, "all of the above." LA was starving for a football team. I know people who are LA natives who were fans of various other teams- Cowboys, Titans, and Chiefs, for example. I have no idea why they chose those teams to be fans of. But, they all became Rams fans when they moved back here. The Chargers' arrival has thrown a wrench in that, I think. But, these are all people who follow football. It's a fan base that is still developing, and I can say that this signing gives them a bit of a shot in the arm. -
Go on record regarding the trades
Rocky Landing replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I respect your open-mindedness. But, honestly, how do you even make that judgement? In what universe will we be able to look back on the season, and say, "I guess we were better without that elite WR talent, after all...?" If we go 10-6, and make the playoffs, who's to say we wouldn't have won another game with a better #1 WR? If Watkins snaps the bone in his foot, I suppose we will have made the right choice. But, even in the event of a different injury, it would still be speculative. -
Rams' fan reaction to Sammy trade
Rocky Landing replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You missed my point entirely. I am very much against this trade, and was fairly (and I will admit, naively) surprised by how many people were happy with it. Obviously, we have a lot of dopey posters. What still baffles me, though, are the justifications used that have so little to do with the actual event, or, indeed, reality. -
Rams' fan reaction to Sammy trade

And yet, the poll has this trade at a 2-1 approval rating. Oi. Also Bill in NYC, Yolo, 26CB, Nosaint, and others. These are the posters I come on here to read, and learn. -
Rams' fan reaction to Sammy trade
Rocky Landing replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How old is Watkins? We traded away what would have been one of the best parts of our future, for a second round pick. There's just no way of apologizing for the poor value, present or future, we got for him. -
Rams' fan reaction to Sammy trade
Rocky Landing replied to CanadianFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of course the Rams fans are stoked. Why wouldn't they be? They got a great deal, and an elite, healthy WR. I'm going to guess that Goff is pretty happy, too. -
