  1. I grew up in SW Florida, and have been a Gator fan for as long as I can remember. Since I was too young to remember the 1996 National Championship, my first major experience was the 2006 National Championship, and it was quickly followed up in 2008. Now that I am a student at the University of Florida, I think a National Championship this season would trump those others, just for me personally. I am keeping my fingers crossed this year, and needless to say, there is confidence in Gainesville this season, without a doubt!!!!

I am also a Yankee fan, but it is more of an expectation for them to win, rather than excitement when they actually do. But as for the Sabres and Bills, I am still waiting with everyone else.

  2. I like AJ McCarron a lot. He has nice size at 6'4 210-215, he has a great arm, been coached by the best of the best, and may possibly leave college with National Championships in his two seasons as a starter. And I do believe he comes out this year, especially if they win the National Championship again. He makes all the throws you need him to make, and is a heck of a leader. I would sure love to see him in a Buffalo Bills #10 next year.

  3. No QB's from anywhere west of the state of Kansas...

Eliminate any QB's from the SEC.

After that....it's a pick em game.

I also disagree with this...have we forgotten about Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Cam Newton, our own Joe Ferguson, Joe Namath, Jay Cutler (I know he's a cry baby, but I honestly believe he's better than any QB on our roster), Matt Stafford, Sam Bradford, and a bunch of others. I would love to have AJ McCarron on our team next year if he comes out, or maybe Tyler Wilson. I do not believe any of the other SEC guys are ready yet, but I think it would be downright foolish to eliminate the SEC QB's.

  4. I chuckle at the thought of Chan wearing one of those hats on gamedays. Lol

But honestly, I do not think age has anything to do with whether you like the flat brim/sticker hats, I believe it's your level of "douchebag." I am twenty years old, and I believe that anyone wearing the flat brim hat, especially with the sticker on it, is just a douche. Granted, if you go to a baseball game and you are supporting your team with an authentic on field hat, that's a little different. But I think anywhere else is just stupid. People need to grow up a bit, imo, and I think New Era was more worried about what is "cool" right now, rather than what true football fans would want to wear.

  5. I watched both. Most importantly, when fitz was asked about the difference between all the cities he has played in, he responded with the fans here in buffalo are the greatest and its like a college atmosphere which is always great to hear! I hope all the bills fans on here are as giddish as i am to start the season and screaming our lounges out at the Ralph every home game!

    GO BILLS!

Absolutely, I love how great Bills fans are!! I am so excited for football season to start, I practically live on BB.com searching for any new news about this team. I really can't wait!!

  6. This success across the middle was bound to happen, Nelson just needed to mature as a WR. The position Nelson played at UF was exactly what he is doing for Buffalo, he was a slot guy and came up big when they needed him (ex. the National Championship winning TD). But since he wasn't the #1 at UF, he was a raw, young receiver who needed to smooth out some of the edges of his game. I think we saw a glimpse of this last season, and he will be very good, maybe even great, in that position this season!!

  7. Chris Brown posted on BB.com that Fitz and Freddy were going to be on ESPN, and I was just wondering if anyone caught Fitz's interview. I heard Freddy's interview, but living in a college apartment, I do not have ESPN News and was not able to hear what Fitz had to say. Hope it was a bit longer than Fred's on NFL Live.

    GO BILLS!!

  8. When he shows me this alleged arm strength in games, I will drink the kool aid. Until then, I will remain somewhat skeptical.

Fitz doesn't throw downfield much, but whenever someone questions his arm strength, I think of the pass that Stevie dropped against Pittsburgh. I am not trying to bash Stevie when I reference this play, because I really like him, but instead I'm remembering the perfect pass that Fitz threw exactly on the money that travelED 50 yards in the air. It showed nice touch and arm strength, and though it wasn't always there last season, I think he can do it with a little critiquing!!

    GO FITZ, and GO BILLS!!!!!

  9. I did read somewhere (sorry no link) that he was consistently whaling the hell out of the ball, out of the end zone, and had to be told to dial it back a little so the return guys could actually get some reps.

I think Chris Brown wrote that in one of his posts about Rookie Camp.

  10. I will include rotational players only at the first level of subbing:

    LE: M. Williams/S. Johnson

    DT: K. Williams/Troup

    DT: M. Dareus/A. Carrington

    RE: M. Anderson/C. Kelsay

    LLB: S. Merrison/K. Morrison

    MLB: K. Shepperd/T. Carder ®

    RLB: N. Barnett/A. Moats

    CB: A. Williams/T. McGee

    SS: G. Wilson/D. Searcy

    FS: J. Byrd/B. Scott

    CB: S. Gilmore ®/L. McFumbles

Opinions? Will you go to war with that defense?

Morrison will start at LB, and Bradham will be his backup. Merriman will rotate with Kelsay and Anderson at the RDE spot; Besides that, you're probably right.

  11. Marcus McNeil is such a stud that he is currently unemployed. Makes sense.

He's such a stud that even the guy that drafted him in San Diego wanted nothing to do with him after our starting LT walked in free agency.

He's such a stud that we preferred a rookie and a 2nd year player to compete for starting LT over him.

Spot on, you are 100% right!!

  12. 2011:

Crayton: 23 catches, 248 yards, 1 td, 33 years old

    Simms-Walker: 12 catches, 150 yards, 0 td, 27 years old

I'll take my chances with the guys we have, and gladly avoid those guys. Edwards and Plax aren't going to happen, either.
