That was pretty funny!!

Levitre and Byrd.......do those answers count?
-
How about Ryan Swope from Texas A&M? He's got decent size, at 6'0 200 lbs, he's a three year starter, and he was Manziel's top target this year. I'd like him in the third round.
-
I'm going to follow this pretty closely when coverage starts up. Unfortunately for me, the cable provided to me in my student apartment doesn't include the NFL Network
-
I watched 4 of his games on youtube (USC, Louisville, Rutgers, Missouri).
Kid has an arm, but plays too "hyper" sometimes in the pocket. I'd love to see him available in the 2nd round. But who knows with how QB's get pushed up the draft board.
All my thoughts are here.

I agree with 99% of your write up, and it's very well done! I do not think he's a poor man's Rivers, though. I have watched a lot of games and film on Tyler Wilson, and he's who I would compare to Rivers. But nonetheless, I agree that his intermediate stuff in great and his touch passes got better as the season progressed. I also agree that he got jittery at some points in the pocket, but their line was atrocious and he still seemed to make good throws, even if he was under pressure. I would have no problem whatsoever if Buffalo takes him with the eighth pick, because if this is the QB they want, then they need to go get him and not mess around!

I think we flat out need lb's and brown is up there with ogletree as one of the best in this draft IMO, I think he may fall to the second round as well
I agree that we need linebackers, but I just don't see us drafting a middle linebacker that high unless Marrone and Pettine are really, really down on Sheppard. I think the LB that is most likely to be replaced this season through the draft is Barnett, which is why I think they go with someone like Chase Thomas in the second round. I am pretty sure Brown will not be there with our next pick, either.
-
He is versatile as well so he would fit into our multiple scheme look.
Agreed
-
Chase Thomas is one of my favorite LB's in this class. He plays with such intensity and speed
Same here. He makes tackles and can cover anyone. He's definitely a guy I'd like to see in a Bills uniform. Shayne Skov, his teammate at Stanford, is another solid play maker that I would love to see Buffalo go after. Either one of these guys would instantaneously make our defense better.

1. Quarterback....I don't care who it is, whether it's Nassib, Glennon, Tyler Wilson, or whoever they think can lead this team the best. Go get your QB!!
2. Chase Thomas OLB Stanford....The guy makes plays, good size and strength at 6'4 245, above average coverage ability, sheds blocks, and plays fast!!
3. Best wide receiver on the board.
4-7. Depth

Most of the Jets' dysfunction was on the offensive side of the ball and Rex Ryan related. As long as we don't take any of their offensive guys, I am just fine with all of these hires!!
-
IMO, Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee will fit nicely at the 2.
I would be happy with either one of the Tennessee wide receivers, Patterson or Hunter. I think both of those guys are going to be very good at the pro level.

Sorry this got overlooked in the troll squashing, good insightful post dude. I agree with 99 percent of it.
Haha thanks!

It may be a little early, but does the Marrone hiring make any significant roster changes on offense?:
-Is Fitz done for sure?
-CJ going to get 20+ a game?
-Implications for Stevie?
-Will Brad Smith find himself on the outside looking in?
-Levitre's status?
-What about guys like Ruvell Martin, Dorin Dickerson, etc.
Thoughts and feelings?
I think Fitz is done.
Spiller will definitely get touches on the ground and through the air, just as Reggie Bush did under Marrone in New Orleans.
Stevie is going to line up in many different formations, and use match ups to his advantage. Marrone will probably use him like he used Alec Lemon, and get him in the open field for yards after the catch.
Though I base this off of absolutely nothing, I just really think that Brad Smith is going to be safe and hopefully will be utilized better.
As a former lineman himself, I think Marrone will make it a priority to resign Levitre. I hope they work hard to re-sign Byrd, because he is very important to our defense. I hope they re-sign David Nelson, as well.
I think Martin, Dickerson, Choice, and other guys like that are Gailey guys, and will not be on the Bills in 2013.

Need a QB who can throw the deep ball to make the deep threat a true threat. Look how many "easy" TDs Fitz has missed in the past few weeks.
Mike Glennon? I say yes!! If TJ is going to be our deep threat, why not go get him his college QB? He seemed to catch the ball for him, too
-
Was the Fitz 1st down sneak ever explained?
Yes. Chan and Fitz both said it was a bad play they were in, and they didn't want to waste a time out. They said a safety would have come in untouched and stopped Spiller for a loss, and the out-play was a quick pass to Stevie, who was lined up to the side that the blitzing safety way on. Fitz just took the snap and ran to the gap that Spiller would have been shooting for.

Was not aware of this. Don't watch many Bama games......how is his accuracy, esp. on long throws?
He throws a beautiful long ball
-
Anyway--the "next Joe Flacco", huh? Looks like this kid is about 180lbs.
Glennon weighs over 230 lbs....

He has 9 interceptions in 328 passing attempts. How's that too many interceptions? Also, he's played in 12 games this season. How's that being often injured?
give his stat lines for the last two years and I say you are talking crazy
Well I do only watch him once a year, so the fact that he sucks against Florida is enough for me to avoid him at all costs. In three games against Florida, he has five int's, and the only game in which he did not throw any picks he was only 6 of 13 for 65 yards. I'm not insinuating that Florida is the school for defensive gods, but Ej absolutely does not pass the eye test for me. And you would think that rivalry games would bring the best out of every QB, but apparently not for him. And if you think about it, the 9 int's in 328 attempts are similar to Fitz's numbers, as he has 11 int's in 356 attempts. As for the injury issue, Clint Tricket makes too many appearances for me to be comfortable with him as our future. Like I said, I don't watch FSU very much, but just knowing the backup's name without having to look it up is enough of a red flag. It would be completely asinine to take Ej to replace Fitz.
-
Anyone that wants EJ Manuel is absolutely nuts. I would rather stick with Fitz and improve the defense than waste a pick on this guy. Even though I am a Gator fan, I can still look at his pro potential with an unbiased view, and this just is not a guy the Bills need to look at. Too many interceptions, too many bad decisions, too many inaccurate passes, and too often injured. They need to avoid him all together!!!

Mike Glennon at NC State is somebody I'd take a flyer on...if he's coming out this year. Big time arm, good size, smart. Not very mobile, but you can't have everything.
I definitely agree with you. He's a senior with a huge arm and great size. We have a pretty good o-line, so mobility is not completely necessary with our QB's. And when he is asked to throw on the run, the guy makes all the throws. And Chan was just talking yesterday about how he wants to develop a guy, and this should be the guy after a season, or maybe less. And if Graham is going to be our deep threat for years to come, why not go out and get his college QB, and a guy that has proven he can get it to him on the money!!!
-
Takes two to tango. Poz wanted to play in a 4-3 system and Donte didnt want to be here. He cant make them stay unless he franchised Whitner (and this board would have lost it)
Took the words right out of my mouth

To start, Jabari was gone before this regime got here. And Buddy has never been a guy to let good players walk. If you perform, you get paid. Plain and simple. Stevie's contract was the only one that even came close to being too late, and Buddy still got him paid. So I am not worried in the least bit about getting Byrd and Levitre resigned.
I would also like to see Buddy get Nelson, Jones, Leodis, and Moore resigned, as well. I think we are missing Nelson big time, especially in the red zone. I think he helps us punch a couple of those in last night, and would have helped us earlier in the season, too.

Watched Murray for 3 yrs too and not impressed, he'll be average at best.
I agree about Murray, because he throws entirely too many int's, but I just do not understand how you can feel this way about Murray and still think Bray is going to be a stud at the same time. You hear so much about the "it" factor, and Bray absolutely does not have it. If you team is down, Bray is the first one in the tank, so he's basically Cam with Gabbert's ability. By the 4th quarter of the UF/UT game this season, he was just slinging the ball, like the he just wanted it to end and move on; one of his passes even ended up in Dooley's arms. The only QB's we should touch from the SEC are McCarron, if he comes out, and possibly Tyler Wilson. I am still on the fence about Wilson, but I am hoping he finishes the season strong.
Lets talk kickers?.............yeah that is what i meant!
