we may need to go all the way back to buffalo bill himself on this one
we never really did give him props for taking his name, and the man was as big as elvis in his time
-
i'm still not clear on the concept. are people supposed to lock themselves in a closet for 72 hours to avoid finding out the outcome of the game?
-
Try the Pastrami at Katz's Deli.
was just thinking about mentioning this too! but for gods sake don't lose that little ticket they give you when you walk in the front door!
if you visit katz's you'll be right across the street from one of the best buffalo bars in the city: kelly's. not as exciting when a game isn't on, but worth a stop in for a beerski since you'll be right there.
i would also highly recommend a visit to McSorley's Tavern. it will be crowded on fri/sat nights but for good reason - it's one of the oldest bars in the city and a truly legendary place

they might as well be billed as 'Warren Haynes and Friends' because Gov't Mule has never been the same since Woody died
IMHO of course, but i'm not alone

Cheektowaga is actually an Indian name.
It means 'put the flea market here'

The one thing I know for sure about this game.... WATCH IT WITH THE SOUND OFF!!! I can already hear the Brady* Ballwashing from the crew on MNF, "Brady's back, Brady's back"
Last season I found out if I unplug or turn down the center channel (on a 5.1 audio system) it neatly mutes the announcers while keeping the sounds of the game intact. It worked for the NHL playoff games too. The bass output gets slightly distorted, but not too badly. It makes you have to pay closer attention to the games and you can hear the crowd really well.

R U sure?
Dolphins have been known to fight of shark attacks
Dolphins save surfer from becoming shark’s bait
yes, they may not be their primary food source but for large sharks like great whites and tigers, dolphins are hors d'œuvres
-
sharks eat dolphins. do they realize that??

i just got back from a neil young show. believe me the man can play guitar.

i don't believe dickey will be joining them anytime soon. i don't think he and gregg are on speaking terms. but of course they're not the same band without him. to their credit, they are not trying to be either.

i think he knew how well she sang and knew how she would be perceived
this guy is beyond a marketing genius, and look at the stir this has caused

anyone else think that cowell might have been in on this from the beginning?
-
did everyone forget that TG vetoed a mid-season trade to Buffalo last season?
-
> Do we really need to sign a RB for 3 games?
probably worried about what we'd have left if something happens to freddy during TC or the (endless) preseason
-
since it hit the ground, it would actually be a meteorite

not exactly a credible nfl source but the first line of his wikipedia page is rather interesting

This is really hilarious. The Bills trade a #1 to the Jags in exchange for Rob Johnson, one of the all time great bust QB's. The Jags use the pick to select Fred Taylor, and get eleven solid seasons out of him. The Bills, focusing on "high character" players, draft Marshawn Lynch in the first round two years ago. Now, who are they looking to sign as a possible replacement for Lynch if he is suspended as a result of his off the field behavior? None other than Fred Taylor, the player that they essentially gave to the Jags eleven years ago.
Fred Taylor = RJ

the wynkoop in downtown denver is one of the best brewpubs in the country. try the railyard ale while you are playing pool on one of their 20+ tables.
with your itinerary in only one week, you're going to be spending a lot of time driving. watch those passes going to/fro telluride.

I actually did get a rock. It's actually petrified dinosaur poop that my dad got me as a kind of gag gift - but it makes a pretty cool addition to my rock collection
Also got a 1TB external hard drive, and the 'Perrault said to Rico' book someone else mentioned - very good reading so far
-
it's nice and sunny here in denver too
okay, so it's like 15 degrees but hey it IS sunny!

> Nothing justifies owning a cat! I don't care how many mice you have.
That's because the cat owns you, not the other way around
why is it not okay to blame McKelvin?

if it's clear cut like this, where the game is undoubtedly in his hands
and he completely blows it
then i think it's okay to blame him. i still want him on my team though, i think he's a great young player who unfortunately learned a tough lesson at all our expense
