I wasn't trying to say I thought gameplay was bad, I'm 20 year vet myself lol.
My thought on EA is that they will pay the NFL more to be exclusive than any upstart can pay to use players/teams. Without the ability to use those, a new game will never dent Madden. Doesnt matter how good the game play is. A game with better graphics and gameplay than madden but using XFL or Arena will not sell even close to Madden. That's the experience for I would assume a lot of people. I play with the Bills only. For years it was the only way for me to see them win.

What you can download depends on what others have created. Some are good but some are ridiculously bad.
Someone usually recreates the tecmo super bowl rosters each year which is the 1990 season so I've played that. I never checked to see if someone created the 1991 draft. That would be interesting.
You can customize gameplay and player ability in so many ways now so I'd think anyone can get the experience they're looking for. You have to mess with the sliders until you find your sweet spot. If you leave those at default settings the game is unplayable.

100% accurate. I bet you can download a roster now that has all the draft picks and FA signings updated. You just won't have the current schedule or updated uniforms.
Good luck OP but imo EA isn't going anywhere. An online petition means nothing to them or the NFL. People aren't going to stop buying the game until another one comes along that is better and that probably won't happen unless they can use the real players and logos.

It was a pass. There is a rule written for this exact type of play.
There was a really long thread about this play right after it happened too.

The difference is that they said Josh never actually possessed the ball. Right or wrong they ruled he never caught the snap, that he batted it to the runner.

Didn't we just extend Haush? If so I'm betting he's our kicker next season unless we find a diamond in the rough or he just totally falls off a cliff.

They should watch film of Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram. They're probably the best at it right now. Lamar holds it in there forever.

Peerless Price. Had that 1 great season and was a total dud after that. At least we got a 1st rounder out of him.

I'm no mechanics guru but to me it looked like he was aiming rather than throwing on a lot of those passes.
He's great when he can throw it on a rope. If he can get those touch throws down we'll be a dangerous offense.

Obviously not sure if it’ll be draft free agency or trades, but I think they go hard at the position to add youth and depth behind Brown & Beasley.

The game is being replayed on nfl network right now. I've had it on as I've been doing other things so only half paying attention. As much as it stings watching this I'm excited about next season.

If the scenario plays out that we get Johnson and upgrade our draft picks at the same time sure why not. It would be a short term investment using money that may not be spent elsewhere anyways. This assumes he's healthy.

For some reason drafting Willis Mcgahee was the 1st thing that popped into my mind.
Hiring Rex was the 2nd thing.

I think he'd be a great rotational fit for us.
He put up decent stats with bad QBs last year. Would also be a great mentor to 2 young guys with some potential.
Plus he can wear that winter beanie he always does without sweating so much.

I had read that defenses were more aware of Allen's running ability and that also helped them diagnose screens easier.
No doubt our lack of execution was a big part of the problem too.

As long as he shows he's still got skill in TC next year I could see some team in need giving a 5th. Beane has gotten better return on some of his trades than most of us ever thought he could.
