My carpet is an essential part of my daily experience.  😋

I’ll try to clear that whole thing up….. we are not conspicuous consumption type of people. We lived around it for years in Hilton Head Island back when it was “new”. Working in banks we saw the people driving the fancy cars, then learned they maxed out their credit cards and the BMW payment was approaching 90 days past due.

I’d rather take the dogs to the farmers market or take a nice trip than have a nicer car.

Of course take the dog to the farmer's market in the Lexus. 😆🤣

Unfortunately, the mirrorless lens lineup has a lot of holes in it. So they are much more expensive, but there are some good options and some average options. I’m not really sure there’s a perfect lineup of lenses to get quite yet.

The perfect lineup is called get a Pentax.

No holes in the Pentax lens line up for mirrorless... Pentax cameras are totally backwards compatible with any Pentax lens ever made.  Sure you won't get all the modern features, but you can always shoot pure manual mode with the +50 year old lens or even the one's you can match pre K-mount days.

They were a little bit late into the digital game, but Pentax came on strong, did it right and now are here to stay!  Why I stayed with them, I have no wasted glass acting as paper weights.

    Another cool time lapse

One of the friends we went 'eclipse hunting' with told me not to bother trying to take photos, as people with better cameras would be posting them.

Getting the right filters and such, at least one can take pictures of the sun now. Setting up for the eclipse opened the door to other shooting not normally done.

Not as good as the West Seneca police, but epic still the same:

  4. West of Cleveland was cloudless @ times... Then a little later just high wispy cirrus clouds.

I took my glasses off for totality... Then hunting around on camera LCD and could find nothing but black... I forgot to take lens filter off! 4 minutes goes by fast when things are going wrong. I wish I clould have practiced this thing!😕

I'd imagine it happens more frequently than you'd think. And that everything stops while it's happening.

  8. The family pittie saved lives from a deranged Ill-annoyan high on the MaryJane committing a stabbing spree:

Brandy you're a fine dog, what a nice family pet you'd be...

"...Weber said she and her two kids — all of whom have visible injuries — were home Wednesday afternoon when she took her pit bull, Brandy, out the back door and heard a man say "hey" to her before he stabbed her in the face.

As she crawled through the house screaming for Vollman to help her, she said, Brandy jumped on and bit the man, giving her enough time to escape.  ..."

    Oh the irony

Is your mind that closed that you can’t even tolerate differing opinions without name calling?

    😆...

If the shoe fits wear it. When has what I said been name calling.

The whole definition of a cult works is not to recognize that a cult exists. Being in a cult isn't a "differing opinion."

Now this is name calling: Sorry Snowflake.  Sack up my man!
