I wouldn't be surpreised if there are no takers early and he comes back to Buffalo.
I guess the fact that the Bills front office has already made the decision to move on from TO hasn't deterred others from ignoring that little tidbit.
-
If he plays for a full season he'll only cost us 2 games. That'll be a drastic improvement for him in that ratio.
-
Uhhh, I guess the fact that the front office has already made a decision and informed TO he will not be offered a contract has no bearing on this? Move along folks.

You'd think Buddy would like to stick it to AJ too!
-
charlie whitehurst f*ckin sucks, I'd be really really mad if we signed him to be a f*ckin janitor, much less a QB
The NFLN guys were heaping a lot of praise on him tonight.

No he's a RESTRICTED free agent, meaning he still has a yr left on his contract, right?
FYI...any time left on a valid contract = not any type of free agent

But I thought the weather was why Shanny didn't come to Buffalo?
-
Buffalo Sabres and Ryan Miller at Pittburgh Penguins and Sid Crosby on Tuesday. Anybody gonna be watching?
-
I was afraid of this. Switching to a defense that we don't have the lynchpin needed for it to be successful

Should have traded T.O. to the Ravens. Missed opportunity there.
PTR
How do you trade a guy not under contract?

With a lockout looming for 2011 I fear this is it for the Bills in Buffalo. That is not to say a non-NFL league won't put a franchise in Buffalo given the fan base. So it may not be the end of professional football in Buffalo. How is it going to feel to have Chan Gailey and Trent Edwards as the final HC and QB? To go from Saban/Kemp, Knox/Ferguson, and then to Marv/Kelly to this shat is unbearable. Billy Shaw, Joe Delamaluire, Reggie McKenzie, Jim Ritcher and we end up with the Tutan Reyes' and Derrick Dockery's this past decade. There are only a couple current players worthy of being mentioned on an all Bills team - a punter, a kicker, and maybe the second best DE in history. I just wonder how we all will approach the final games of 2010?
Nuckle dragging mouth breather.
The lockout year actually helps teams immensely. They still get their TV money, but don't have to pay any players' salaries. But nice try.And the plan IS to leave the team to his wife Mary. Whether they'll sell it to Kelly's group or not, I don't know.
Actually, they don't. It's confirmed that if there are no games, the TV money goes back.

Ralph's daughter who lived in Englewood died last year. So either this is an old story or completely made-up.
Makes this troll even more tasteless.

Is it quicker to New York, or by bus?
Which Pat Kelly?
Exactly.

Doesn't Pat Kelly live in Virginia?
-
The information you seek is here. Read it.
I know he's Irish, but is this the Pat Kelly that played in the NFL, or the one who lived in Virginia?
-
Very Sad to hear he died so young. I knew Pat in Spry Jr High, but not much after that. he went to RLT and I to HWS
Is that Jim's brother Pat, or the Pat Kelly that went to Syracuse?
-
Another Rusty Jones is god thread? He has been gone for a decade.
Coincidentally that also represents our playoff drought.
-
Every time I see things like this it makes me think that the poster has a hidden agenda and really wants a QB or LB at #9 so they try to belittle the tackle prospects.
Oooohhh, hidden agendas on internet message boards? Gots to be more careful or my thinking might be influenced by these tricksters

We don't have the same people in charge of taking players, modrack us still on but he is not making the final decisions
This goes back to the Butler era. And actually, yes, we do have the same people. His name is Ralph.
-
Look at the amount of talent taken after the 9th pick in last year's draft....there are always studs to be had after the top 10 in every draft..nothing wrong with trading down if our player isn't there, imo.
And yet we end up with Maybin, McKelvin, Lynch, Whitner, McCargo, Losman, McGahee, Mike Williams, Erik Flowers, etc.
-
To me this is going to be a wonderful draft........
We could get either
- A talented young quarterback
or
- A talented young offensive tackle
or
- The best LB in the draft
This is going to be a cant lose draft....as long as we dont take a DB I am going to end up being happy with whoever is drafted I think.
Or trade down and get none of the above. Sorry, but given this teams history, you can't rule it out.
The End of the line for the Bills
