  7. Black Bird on Apple TV+ If Paul Walter Hauser doesn’t win an Emmy for his work here, I swear I will…well…do nothing, honestly. But he really really deserves it. Single most chilling performance I’ve seen in years.

  9. WTF. 147 pages in less than 22 hrs from people that know NOTHING about the situation other than what has been spoon fed through social media. 146 pages of ill-informed speculation, chest-thumping "I am right" takes with absolute certainty in support of both the victim and the accused, and no end in sight. 'Murica! The only absolute here is that we know nothing and will continue to know nothing until facts are established, cases (civil or criminal) are tried, and verdicts are rendered...and then we'll get 146 more pages of why those verdicts are either absolutely correct or totally BS. If I were in any position of authority with the Bills, I would push for NOT dressing him in light of this ***** storm...whatever the NFL equivalent of "paid administrative leave" is.
  10. Every mornin' there's a halo hangin' from the corner Of my girlfriend's four-post bed I know it's not mine, but I'll see if I can use it For the weekend or a one-night stand
  11. If I could read your mind, love What a tale your thoughts could tell Just like a paperback novel The kind the drugstore sells When you reach the part where the heartaches come The hero would be me But heroes often fail And you won't read that book again Because the ending's just too hard to take

  13. I remember standing on the corner at midnight Trying to get my courage up There was this long lovely dancer in a little club downtown I loved to watch her do her stuff Through the long lonely nights she filled my sleep Her body softly swaying to that smoky beat Down on Main street
  14. Anyone have Tasker’s cell number? Someone needs to let him know that he does NOT have to fill every second between plays with an exasperating combination of obvious observations and head-scratching misstatements. ffs

  17. It was long after midnight When we got to unconditional love She said "sure my heart is boundless but don't push my limits too far" I said "if love is so transcendent, I don't understand these boundaries" She said "just don't disappoint me, you know how complex women are"

  19. Well we all have a face That we hide away forever And we take them out And show ourselves When everyone has gone Some are satin some are steel Some are silk and some are leather They're the faces of the stranger But we love to try them on
  20. Do you remember The 21st night of September? Love was changin' the minds of pretenders While chasin' the clouds away Our hearts were ringin' In the key that our souls were singin' As we danced in the night, remember How the stars stole the night away, oh, yeah

  23. There is nothing quite as wonderful as money! There is nothing quite as beautiful as cash! Some people say it's folly, but I'd rather have the lolly With money you can make a splash! There is nothing quite as wonderful as money! There is nothing like a newly minted pound! Everyone must hanker for the butchness of a banker It's accountancy that makes the world go round!
