  1. Check it yourself. For example, http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/OFF-...=14&_1:col_2=14 contains the penalty yards of the offense.
  2. Correct. But NFL' statistics section contains penalty yards only. Nevertheless, some interesting insights are possible. For example, the Jets are number one; obviously, their special penalty training pays off.

However, the are now second to last.
  4. John Goodman calls the rich Lebowski (not the dude) "Goldberger" (sp?). What does this mean?
  5. The Bills are able to adjust on both sides of the ball after halftime. Last year the Bills often have had an acceptable first half, but could not adjust their play to a restructured oppenents' offense or defense.
  6. team defense offense no. of games total penalty yards per game New York (A) 206 109 4 78.75 Seattle 168 163 4 82.75 San Diego 188 250 5 87.6 Indianapolis 297 157 5 90.8 Cincinnati 237 139 4 94 Philadelphia 175 202 4 94.25 Washington 253 240 5 98.6 St. Louis 205 303 5 101.6 Oakland 176 335 5 102.2 Tampa Bay 266 267 5 106.6 Jacksonville 261 283 5 108.8 Tennessee 235 312 5 109.4 Miami 267 289 5 111.2 Baltimore 246 347 5 118.6 New York (N) 326 275 5 120.2 Denver 401 204 5 121 Green Bay 325 298 5 124.6 Cleveland 346 281 5 125.4 San Francisco 280 347 5 125.4 Arizona 338 293 5 126.2 New England 243 266 4 127.25 Pittsburgh 287 353 5 128 Kansas City 200 317 4 129.25 Chicago 273 247 4 130 Atlanta 369 318 5 137.4 Houston 362 330 5 138.4 Detroit 297 264 4 140.25 Dallas 218 353 4 142.75 Buffalo 268 310 4 144.5 New Orleans 385 343 5 145.6 Minnesota 333 255 4 147 Carolina 308 289 4 149.25 The Bills have improved slightly (from 150 yards per game to 144.5 yards per game)
  7. As far as I knwo, NFL is braodcasted by Premiere (pay TV). However, there is no guarantee that they will broadcast the Bills' game. Austrian TV offers gameday summaries. Unfortunately, Austrian TV will be available only if you live in a region maximum 50 kilometers away from the Austrian border.
  8. That's the reson why they have the fewest penalties in the league as I have computed in http://205.134.161.85/forums/index.php?sho...#39;++penalties
  9. Since there is an ongoing discussion on this board regarding the Bills' penalties, I tried to collect some fact: Penalty yards on offense: 227 (rank 15; however the Bills have just 3 games) http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/OFF-...=14&_1:col_1=14 Penalty yards on defence: 223 (rank 15; ; however the Bills have just 3 games) http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NFL/DEF-...=14&_1:col_2=14 Adding both categories and calculating total penalties per game, we get: team def. off. games total pen. per game New York (A) 123 64 3 62.33333333 Seattle 123 123 3 82 San Diego 155 206 4 90.25 Indianapolis 238 137 4 93.75 Cincinnati 237 139 4 94 Philadelphia 175 202 4 94.25 Tampa Bay 206 202 4 102 Miami 212 203 4 103.75 Washington 200 218 4 104.5 St. Louis 165 258 4 105.75 Tennessee 220 207 4 106.75 Oakland 156 276 4 108 Jacksonville 217 250 4 116.75 New York (N) 252 215 4 116.75 Denver 313 167 4 120 San Francisco 220 262 4 120.5 Arizona 253 233 4 121.5 New England 157 211 3 122.6666667 Green Bay 220 283 4 125.75 Cleveland 283 227 4 127.5 Kansas City 200 317 4 129.25 Baltimore 224 294 4 129.5 Chicago 273 247 4 130 Pittsburgh 233 290 4 130.75 Houston 287 242 4 132.25 Atlanta 289 244 4 133.25 Detroit 223 184 3 135.6666667 Minnesota 245 180 3 141.6666667 Dallas 158 279 3 145.6666667 Buffalo 223 227 3 150 New Orleans 320 283 4 150.75 Carolina 271 201 3 157.3333333 In other words, the Bills are the third worst team.
  10. I can understand the NFL. By fighting every (in the broader or narrower sense) political statement they are able to avoid lenghty (and probably heated) discussion what statements might be appropriate and what statements not.
  11. I remenber that phrase from his promotional video. Definitely funny (and obviously true).
  12. I don't think so. The Bills OL does not work with Williams 1st rounder Teague: not too cheap Jennigs: soon to be expensive and two not so expensive FA To increase the performance of the OL in order that DB can play adequately, further investment in the OL is needed. Either a high draft pick or a good FA. Both investments are expensive and, thus, will hurt other positions.
  13. The problem with such an extreme focus on the OL is the following: Thanks to the salary cap you won't be able to have good players at other positions, for example on the defense.
  14. Please refer to http://205.134.161.85/forums/index.php?showtopic=2627
  15. 80 yards punt by Moorman!
  16. I have read a couple of post wondiering that Stevenson has been cut or Sullivan or Gildon. However, in my opinion Sobieski is the number one surprise cut. He has had some injury problems in the past, but has been regarded as a flexible player with a lot of potential. - Maybe, the Bills' staff can no longer hear the "potential" word.
