  1. In my opinion, we got the #1 SS; Huff is a FS.
  2. He is a black high-motor player.... Interesting. http://www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2006/rice_matthew
  3. I have always thought that Mike Williams is with Detroit. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/552678
  4. After having read a lot of post that discuss the Bills' draft, I think a lot of people criticze the Bills' draft but mean the Bills' team strategy. The Bills' strategy is to play a Tampa Bay like defense. In other words, a lot of DBs and quick DT are needed. This year's draft perfectly fits this profile. Moreover, the draft concentrated on fixing all holes of the defensive side instead of jumping between offense and defense. In my opinion, this clear-cut focus is another very positive aspect of this year's draft; trying to fix holes on both offense and defense will result in a team that has neither an offense that is able to implement the ideas of the coaches nor a defense that can do it. To fix the holes on offense, free agency can the used. Since the Bills now know what pieces are missing, they have an improved bargaining power compared to a situation with a "best player available draft and best available free agent". In sum, for the first time in approximately five years I can see that the Bills have a strategy and try to implement this strategy. This might involve taking players in the draft, that other teams with different strategies might regard as too high. Therefore, the draft cannot be criticized in my opinion. What can be criticized, however, is the Bills' strategy. For example, if one prefers run-stuffing DTs instead of quick DTs, one won't like the Bills' strategy. But this is a totally different point.
  5. Definitely yes. In fact, I believe that the tough negotiations with him were one of the main reasons to take three DBs.
  6. Aren't the Bills switching to a 3-4 defense? Why nevertheless such a hugh investment in DT?
  7. Schneck is the reason for the success of our kicker. Cutting Schneck would cause problems in my opinion.
  8. I don't know whether the deal is dead or not, but the Titans took two WR in round 3 and no RB. http://www.nfl.com/draft/drafttracker/team/TEN Maybe the chance for a trade is still there.
  9. Hawthorne is still available. In other words, 32 NFL teams don't think that he is worth to be picked in the first three rounds.
  10. Fausto Svalbard What the hell is Svalbard?
  11. Raiders | Jordan Agrees in Principle - from www.KFFL.com Wed, 2 Mar 2005 21:27:56 -0800 ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Oakland Raiders have agreed in principle with free agent RB LaMont Jordan on a five-year deal worth $27.5 million. Terms of the deal are expected to be finalized Thursday, March 3. Jordan's agent, Alvin Keels, said he is 99.9 percent sure Jordan will join the Raiders. Jordan is set to receive $15.7 million in guarantees over the first three years of the deal, including $7 million in the form of a signing bonus. In other words, trading Henry has become more difficult.

  13. I guess you have never heard of an annuity loan. It is typical for this type of loan to pay a constant amount of money a month, the so-called annuity,: In the early years, annuitites mainly consist of interest rate re-payments, whereas in later years the percentage of repayment of the face value increases. However, one should not confuse the fact that over 90% of the early annutities consist of insterest payments with the statment that the loan has an interest rate of 90%.
  14. In my opinion, good teams have to win against bad teams and to win against decent teams. So far, the Bills have accomplished the first step. Looking at the last couple of years, they haven't been able to achieve this minimum goal. In summary, 9-7 is an important step into the right direction because it meets at least the "must-win" requirement.
  15. I hope the Bills don't try to exploit the Patriots' weakness in the secondary and rely on the passing game only.
