Andrew Luck will be eligible for the HOF in 2024
JerseyBills replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ya he'll be an interesting player. No doubt he had HOF talent but the lack of years will hurt him -
I feel it's not only a depth signing but he'll take over the big nickel spot for sure, i believe Neal played last year . Many ppl thought Rapp would get a nice 3 year deal for decent $ . So we got him for a steal.

Allen stats compared to Peyton Manning 👀
JerseyBills replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Raw Lewis and Urlacher come to mind. So for argument sake let's call them the gold standard. Josh and all the elite QBs and OCs would kill them in passing downs. Far more athletic LBs nowadays. If we were a running team I'd agree but I just don't see it -
Josh Allen is the most durable starting NFL QB

Damn. He's really an alien like Romo been saying! -
Thad Brown the first to be offended by Josh

The hornets nest 🤣🤣 What a bozo -
Just saw this. That's why I truly feel Josh will have more accolades when all said and done. Allen can be just as effective underneath I feel and is better deep and intermediate and running It was so frustrating seeing Mahomes dump it off to his RBs or WR screens go for 100s of yards a game. I've been saying constantly, if Allen takes the underneath stuff more often he'd be unstoppable. I'm sure it's play calling too but just look at NE playoff game in 21. Allen was going underneath, ran the ball very well w Josh and RBs. Opens up PA and deep ball and they had absolutely no idea how to play us cause as a defender you're on skates all day.

Allen stats compared to Peyton Manning 👀

Peyton was groomed , expected to start #1 pick.. Allen wasn't expecting to start.. Also Peyton threw more and was playing against a bunch of 34 and 43 looks ; not as athletic Lbs so it makes it even more impressive for Josh imo -
Just a reminder of how lucky we are. 1st ballot h.o.f QB

Playoff offense is just as much an issue as defense
JerseyBills replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ya that too. Should have pressed and held everyWR and Kelce. Rushed 3 and had everyone else play off. So many simple variations could have been much better vs what they ended up doing -
Man this isn't 2010 We have a target on our back regardless. I personally love this! That's how rivals should act

Definitely. Considering the magnitude of that game. What your offense just did , idk how you don't pull the ST coach over and make sure he knows what to do. That game will haunt me forever because the way Allen was playing that post season. Def think we win it all. He'll have 1 less SB on his resume because Shaun didn't do such a simple thing😥 -

Or Bass could have simply squib kicked it and they would have 2 plays. 1 being a hail mary or a bunch of laterals. Not blaming Bass, I heard the explanation about communication issues but that's just inexcusable -
Ya he loves Arrowhead. His idol was Derrick Thomas, legendary Chief and he wore 58 in Denver because of him. Remember before our KC game he said how special that stadium meant to him. And they were division rivals for years. A respect thing I'd say. And he showed up big in that game

They just couldn't keep up once social media got huge but they deserve their respect for being innovators back in the day. Already posted I can't watch them unless a game is on but I respect what they did for the sports world Kiper was one of , if not the only sports talking head that said Josh should go #1 but yea I agree. That was impressive It's a tough job. Most GMs suck at drafting
-
That's just not true. Drafted and re signed Dawkins , got Morse who was the top C that FA period. Re signed Bates after a solid year Brought in vets, Daryl Williams, Spain, Saffold, Shell, McGovern. Edwards Recently Drafted Brown in rd 3,Doyle rd 4, Ocyrus Rd 2 Idk the starting 5 this year but we have some really good depth imo at all 5 spots

ESPN article ranking the top NFL rosters
JerseyBills replied to BADOLBILZ's topic in The Stadium Wall
How is Harty a journeyman? Dude ended his rookie contract with NO and got signed here -
Used to watch ESPN all day everyday.. Especially SC..Can't remember the last time I turned it on if I wasn't watching a sports game. I just can't get into the shows anymore. I'm sure I'm not alone and their ratings plummeted

I was born in late 80s . I love what we did on D this off season, most important thing is pass rush. That's how you disrupt an elite O. Add Von ,Floyd, to that Bengal game, who knows what turnovers they cause or better field position they'd give us. Add in Daquan and Ford and are the Bengals able to run on us like that? I doubt it. Yes the O is huge but to totally discount the d is ridiculous- 132 replies
