The Bills made the Chiefs. The Bills were on the clock and Mahomes was sitting there, the Bills traded the pick to the Chiefs, the Chiefs drafted Mahomes and the rest is history.

If you're looking for a WR that can come in and replace Davis right away and become your long term number one, you'd better take him in the 1st round. I think receivers will fly off the board in the 1st and 2nd rounds, to hope to get one at #60 that can step right in is hoping for a lot. Diggs may only have a year or two left with the team and to find his eventual replacement now would make sense.
S, DT, DE can follow.
If they go D-Line in the first, expect KC to take the WR we should've taken ... And he'll be a star.

Counting Diggs because he cost a first round pick, I was kind of surprised to see that they have taken 9 on Offense compared to 7 on Defense.
I think Beane did really good with the 1st three picks last year and he needs to match that or do even better this year. Maybe he can use some of the late picks to move up for someone he likes on day two.
The next couple of months will be exciting.

He punched a teammate when he was with the Saints ... He had 6 INTs for the Eagles in 2022 and they let him walk after 1 year ... The Lions probably are letting him walk after 1 year. He seems to have issues.

All of the above would've been the runaway favorite but since it's not there i voted bad luck.
It's bad luck to be in the same conference as the Chiefs
It's bad luck to have a home game stolen from you in an "experiment"
It's bad luck losing two key starters in that game, one for most of the year, one for the year.

Von Miller will be on IR again by October, I'm guessing with the old guy injury, his Achilles.
Tre' White will be cut.
The Bills won't lose a playoff game next year ... Because they won't make the playoffs with all the new faces on one year contracts.
The new stadium should've been built out of the snow belt.
Playing in London last year cost the team a Super Bowl ... Losing Milano for the season and Jones for most of the season was the death blow to the 2023 season.

Belichick, Brady, Gronkowski, Wilfork, Bruschi, all get a 10/10 for me on the hatred scale.
The worst I can give to the Chiefs is maybe a 7 for Mahomes ... I like Andy Reid and I don't mind Kelce when he isn't playing the Bills. The vomit inducing non stop showing of Taylor Swift after every Chiefs one yard gain, I blame the networks and the league for that.
For me, the Chiefs aren't even close to the patriots in the hatred department.

If the goal is to beat Reid/Mahomes, getting the guy who has lost two Super Bowls to Reid/Mahomes is probably not the right answer.

Shannahan falls apart in the Super Bowl. He has come up short twice against Mahomes and Reid as a HC and as an OC he blew the Falcons chance of beating Brady.

On the other hand ... Say you opt to kick the ball off and your opponent ends up kicking a FG, then you get the ball but can only manage a FG, your opponent is the first with the ball in a next score wins scenario.

During the regular season you could say the Bills are the better team but once it comes to January the Chiefs are by far the better team . The Chiefs have also won 3 of the past 4 games in February, Buffalo hasn't even played in February this century.
Winning 3 of the past 4 Super Bowls puts them at the verge of, if not earned the title of Dynasty.
