  1. Josh has been carrying this team for weeks.  When Josh "went down," hypothetically speaking, the entire team came together and picked it up for him.  The OL opened holes for the running attack.  The runners ran through the holes.  The defense continued to play very well.

I do believe that, if they needed Josh to throw the ball in the second half, he would have worked out a way to get that done.  Truth is, he didn't have to do that.

  2. I emailed this to them this morning:

I just saw a clip of your group declaring the Bills are done, and that the Patriots made them eat turds on MNF. You New England fans are a sorry lot that has been spoiled rotten by years of dominance. You smug pricks don't have a clue about fan loyalty. Bills fans have suffered through years of painful indignation at the hands of the Patriots (and many others). I hate the Patriots, but I love their excellence. I was actually rooting for them to win that Super Bowl and finish the season undefeated. I'm tired of watching those 72 Dolphins swilling champagne and whooping it up whenever this happens.
Bill B. is a genius. Nobody disputes that. I'm not surprised the Pats are tough this year. A bunch of talented Covid cowards returned. They spent a billion dollars on free agents. Mac Jones fell into their laps, and they are the perfect team for him.
Who knows what will happen this weekend?
It's not like they destroyed the Bills on MNF. They won by 4 points, and the Bills had chances to win. They failed.
The Colts had, what, 49 yards passing Saturday night? In a dome? What the hell!! But at one point a running back broke free for a touchdown....call it luck, a fluke, whatever. One big play broke that game open. Does that sound familiar?
I've been a Bills fan since I was a kid. I remember guys like Jim Nance, Buoniconti, Hannah, Vataha....tough teams.
Brady is the best football player of all time. Please remember that every team passed on him at least 5 times, including the Patriots.
You've won so much you don't know how to lose gracefully. Throwing tablets and phones and growling at reporters is childish.
If the Bills win this weekend, I will thank the football gods and move on. I'm not the kind that rubs noses in turds.

  3. I thought he was rooting for the Patriots.  He let his feelings show when they were called for illegal motion inside the 10.  He said this:  "Oh my God, no!  Ugh!"

Maybe he was trying to keep the viewers tuned in when the game looked one-sided.  But at times I thought I had the Pats audio.

    3 hours ago, HOUSE said:

I was very impressed but I had my volume off

I already know everything there is to know about Mac Jones, even his birthday

    ..

That's the funniest thing I've read in a long time.

  4. Joe Marino's "Locked on Bills"....today's podcast included a pretty thorough description of how the refs' bad calls had such huge impact on the game.  Even with all the calls he mentioned, he didn't talk about the one toward the end of the first half when their guy was pulling Diggs' jersey and somehow that escaped the eyes of the officials.  I think Romo mentioned that perhaps the guy's vision was screened by somebody.

  5. The refs sucked the whole game.  The first hold on Poyer/Hyde was a bad call.  Yet when a guy is pulling on Diggs jersey nobody notices.

The game should have ended in regulation when we earned 1st and goal at the 1 yard line.  Instead, a field goal, which was the right decision.

I don't like the plays we ran in OT.  But the game should have been over by then.

  6. There are average running backs in this league running behind average lines and making better cuts.  Look at Moss's decision to cut inside when all he had to do was go around the corner and waltz into the end zone.

I agree 100% with the critiques of our drafting defense over OL help.  Instead of Basham, for example, we could've taken Creed Humphrey, who's doing great in KC.  They say that Wyatt Teller is the beneficiary of better OL coaching.  What does that say about Bobby Johnson?

Changes are coming.  That's for sure.
