It's still almost 2 billion dollars to build this thing, in WNY where land costs are nowhere near what they are in other places. There should be all sorts of "cool" touches and snazzy marketing and virtual fly throughs/videos.

plus, you know deep down that Brady wants to see Allen win because every one Allen wins is one Mahomes doesn't.

Do you ever notice that? Everywhere you go, people are so quick to get nasty and confrontational.

I mostly worry about what this means for the direction of the team.
I could see McDermott looking like the Jack Nicholson meme nodding yes maniacally at posts suggesting KC "won with defense" so we need to invest all our resources there and Allen will figure something out on offense.

Elite WR but injuries and age are catching up.
If he was truly unhappy here then it's a win-win. I like Tomlin's saying: we want volunteers, not prisoners.

I hate this type of reasoning.
Let's apply it to the defense instead: McDermott is a mastermind. A gem. "Best Bills coach ever" (LOL but ok). So let's make due with so-so defensive players on dirt cheap contracts and give Allen weapons on offense.
SF gets to the SB and wins tons of games without a real QB because of skill players. Imagine in SF had a real QB?
Brady got a couple Super Bowls with mostly elite defensive play, but overall didn't win without elite playmakers either. Edelman and Gronk were pretty damn elite, as were the guys in TB (Evans, Godwin, Gronk).

The thing I remember about the MNF opener was how down Allen sounded, starting off with the "same s--- different day" line really struck me.
2023 was a weird year for the team overall. Something seemed off (to me) all year about them. Might have nothing at all to do with Diggs but it did start with him having some sort of issue around minicamp and McDermott saying he was concerned.
All that said, IF Diggs was upset about something and was vocal about it that doesn't mean he was wrong. It depends on the circumstances.

Football is far and away my favorite sport, so for me the Super Bowl is a holiday.
Heck, we have a draft party the Thursday night of the 1st round every year. It's a show about teams picking players and I would rather watch that than the Final Four.
But that's me. Football is a passion of mine, hockey I watch when the Sabres are good (so not for the past decade or so) and beyond that I might watch basketball if I'm bored and it's late at night but I don't follow it like I used to.

dumb question maybe, but does this mean 20K per seat, just for the right to then buy the seats?
So 2 season tickets means 40K fee just to buy the tickets on top of that? Is it one-time?

Ask Mike McCarthy about that. His team makes the playoffs every year and can't kick the door down too, except he has a SB ring as a HC

I like it, because right now the ball just sails through the end zone for a touchback anyways, and the only kickoff returns for TD happen against us it seems like

nah, the Bills to Toronto story seemed like his dream, and Pegula buying the team and the Bills building a new stadium here seems to have really broken his spirit and zest for relocation stories.
Now he's back to "the end of football?" type stories to make himself feel better.
