You know what, now is a good time to spill the beans on what I was told last year - In the home Patriots game, Diggs chose to sit out the first drive of the 2nd half because he was upset with Allen's play in the 1st half. It wasn't an injury or part of the game plan. He decided to screw over his team and sit out a drive because he couldn't get over himself.

I suspect other stories like this will come out in the coming days. A couple aren't mine to tell. Guy was a total headcase and a major distraction in more ways than one.

I remember your stories going back to last season. It really soured me on Diggs. Im not too upset about this.

Why to Houston for a 2025 pick?

I don't mind trading him, but if it's going to be to an AFC contender, you have to get more in return.

Same trade to Carolina and I would have no issue with it.

Its the Vikings pick, who wont be very good likely. So could be a high 2nd rounder.

Yeah we watched the Offense grind to a halt with Dorsey, it was getting ridiculously aggravating we got to the point where we were begging them to just go 2-minute no huddle just let Josh do it because that was the only thing that ever worked.

Brady took over and things started to move again.

I think the reason Dorseys offense looked ok overall was because Josh would go berserker mode and try to save the game, hitting long runs and big plays which would ultimately elevate the stats. I dont know how to track this but I would love to see DVOA and EPA/play for plays made "in structure" between Dorsey and Brady. Under Dorsey it felt like nothing happened in structure. The entire offense was drop back, scan, scramble, hit something out of structure. It felt impossibly difficult. Under Brady it felt like Josh hit a lot more in structure. So while the final result of a drive may be the same, it just was exhausting to watch under Dorsey.

The Vrabel news is interesting, especially considering his career highlight is pretty much the same as McD's.....getting to an AFCCG against the Chiefs and losing. He's also won 2 road playoff games and McD has zero of those under his belt to this point.

But it just goes to show what is truly important to some owners, and obviously the Titans are going through a pretty significant rebuild moving forward with a young QB, King Henry and many other veterans impending departure, etc...so it does make sense to start fresh from that point of view where the Bills will still have Allen any many other pieces next year despite their own pending roster turnover, and coming off a playoff appearance even if they don't go far again.

This assumes the Vrabel wasnt sick of ownership. This decision may have been made because of Vrabels feelings toward the org. Even if someone is a good coach, sometimes a relationship becomes to soured they have to go.

I expect hell be in Foxborough soon

Yea seems like waddle is playing for sure.

Seems like it based on that video. But Miami is in a bit of a weird spot since they are already in the playoffs. Theres an argument to be made that they should consider resting guys that are close if theres a risk of re-injury. What is better, having the player on the road in Kansas City or potentially not having the player at home against Buffalo again?

Harbaugh is going to do what he thinks is best for his team. I doubt he is giving the Bills a second's thought. They probably will rest many starters, but they will play hard and try to win the game. Don't forget they hate the Steelers with a passion. So, I am sure they would love to ruin the Steelers season but not at the expense of hurting their team as they get ready for the playoffs.

I think the biggest factor is: do they want to rest starters for 2 weeks? Aside from an injury, I dont think you want Lamar and the offense resting for that long. The last two games have been incredible for Lamar and the team. I think the starters play for a half at least.

This same exact situation happened in 2019 and the players have talked about the fact that the rest screwed them up a bit.

I'm actually waiting for some sort of play action out of this situation or a pitch out wide...could be walk in TDs with the D expecting a sneak.

Theyve already done this. It did in fact score a TD

IMO the best way to stop this for goal-line specific situations, is to have Joseph or Ed get a couple yard head start, try to 100% time the snap and run into Kelce has hard as he can. If youre early, its half the distance so not much harm done. But in the process you laid a hit on Kelce and let them know that its coming again the next snap. But if you time it right you will blow the play up.

    One thing is pretty curious

We totally road Dalton Kincaid in the first half

Didn’t look like we went to him at all in the second

The optimistic take is that Joe Brady will ride the hot hand until the defense takes it away. There seemed to be phases in the game, not sure if it was planned or just happenstance. But there they started out looking for Diggs but a combo of coverage and drops didnt get it going. Then it went to Kincaid and Shakir. And then it went to the RBs in the pass game.

But if our starting nickel is out, it hurts us big time. There's a big dropoff from Taron Johnson to Siran Neal or Cam Lewis. And if Dane Jackson misses the game, then the Bills are one injury away from 35 year old Josh Norman lining up against AJ Brown or Devonta Smith.

Here's hoping our secondary can get right in time for this matchup. We're gonna need every one of them.

For sure, but you asked if we have any CBs and we do. the Jets beat them without Sauce.

I can't see the Bills getting blown out in this game. They're catching the Eagles at the perfect time, coming off the revenge win against the Chiefs, and on a short week. Allen should be able to have his way with this Eagle secondary.  I'd expect a bunch of Kincaid this week. Should be a great game.

Bills rarely get blown out, I dont expect that to change Sunday. We may lose but we usually have a chance in the 4th.

I have ran through NFL playoff simulator enough that Texans and Browns probably are 10-11 wins. WC7 though PIT probably only gets to 9 wins and LAC that is about their max. Unless you really believe that the Colts can get to 10, because of the Bengals losing Burrow the margin line I think is back to 10 wins. But yea the tiebreakers are no bueno for Buffalo if you are stuck at 9 or tied at 10.

Denver will be a factor too, and they have a H2H against us now. I believe the Bengals, Pitt will fall out. So itll be down to the Texans, Denver, Browns and us for the 3 spots. Jax plays Houston/Cincy/cleveland over their next three. So we are all Jags fans now.

Isn't it up to the OC to help the QB improve his game?

This is something I dont get about fans. Even if we admit that Josh is the primary reasons that things arent working we arent gonna fire Josh! So maybe, just maybe, we can get an OC that works better with Josh. Maybe not but better to try and see then keep trying to jam the same square peg through the same round hole 2 years in a row.
