  1. While I want Daboll to work on the run game as well, I think we need another receiver more than a back. And I want a starting Veteran TE that is a very dangerous receiver moreso than a blocker.

I'll take Ertz plus another speed WR before I take a new RB or blocking TE though I imagine Ertz can block pretty well.

We need to keep building that passing game, baby! I say still sign vets, Beano!

we also have to greatly improve our D. Our top two picks should be for defense. Maybe McFrazier can figure a way to make one of these super athletic DEs a rookie of significant impact in the first and then a corner in the second that can easily beat out our current LCB in the second. Somebody with balls skills yet loves contact.

  2. Well, most draftnicks are saying no DEs will be worth it at pick 30 and that we should trade up to try and get one. That makes sense to me (if it is true and it is possible. Who knows though? I could still see a better veteran  DE than anyone we could draft at 22 becoming available refusing to renegotiate or something.....

  3. DE, TE/CB, DT, WR, G, RB..... That's the order.....

And the DE spot seems so far and away ahead of everything else because of the weakness on our team, the cost of DEs and the scarcity. It's like miracle time there.

Can Epenesa amaze in year two? Can Daryl Johnson explode in year three? Can we find perhaps a tweeter that can only rush the passer? At least we have four signed....

I really want Ertz to make our offense that much deeper and diversified. It is such a long season.

Maybe if we took a corner at 30 we could become more of a man team and blitzed more? With our new rookie light pass rusher as the Fifth?

In a defensive shake-up, the Bills take a two-gapper DT to help free Ed O and change-up our simple defense. I want to watch Ed O and think, "he definitely shot that gap as fast as he could to hit the QB as fast and as hard as hecould."

WR - I wish we could afford to take one at 30 even if we sign Ertz. Like I said above, the season is so long and we ran out of high level skill players for the playoffs last year when Beasley got hurt and Smoke couldn't get healthy. I'd be fine if we went WR #1 to make sure Allen doesn't run out of talent again.

We have three guards we need a C/G added to the mix.

We really have to work on therun game I think more than anything else. We have four RBs for camp now, we need a legit fifth to compete. I'd say either fast or full-size (big).

  4. I want McKenzie to remain a Bill and return kicks and I want the Bills to draft a fast WR in the first three rounds and I want him to return punts.

    Then.

Then, we will should have enough depth at WR to manage the long and arduous NFL season.

I gotta say it was telling however, that when Beasley and Smoke were down with injuries, Daboll could not plug McKenzie in there at all to replace either one of them.... Maybe it would be best for the Bills, to get back up WRs with more potential than McKenzie at this point?

IDK? Close call, McKenzie improved in his time in Buffalo and it is sort of nice knowing he is a veteran and a fast one at that.

As far as money goes, I say he needs to make 100,000 more to make a move to Chicago profitable. Otherwise, I think he is better off here....

  5. What do we do?

Imho, we need a huge influx of talent at pass rusher but can't afford him and he'll come way overpriced....

We definitely need some major talent added to the defense. DE, CB and DT. Never mind backup LB.

We also need major talent added to WR and TE.... and have to find someone to compete with the four RBs we currently have and is good enough to perhaps win the job. Never mind we need a guard and a back up OT.

LOL, Our needs to be a Super Bowl favorite are many.

  6. Of course, the game is on Allen's shoulders but it's his wide-receivers in particular tomorrow that will be his focus.

On defense, I'll go with our star again in tredavious White. I think Tre has more leeway than the other corners and he will use that along with his amazing athleticism and game smarts to create a few eye-popping plays.

Jerry Hughes has all of two playoff games on his resume but that is enough proof to me that he will take his game to another level tomorrow. In fact, I like both starting Ends to be quite visible tomorrow as Mario Addison also looms large tomorrow.

Our weakness is our run d. Shut that down and no one can stop us.

What you call a weakness, I call a minor adjustment.  We've played the NFL's best (Pittsburgh, San Francisco, New England and more) and came away really unscathed. I don't think anyone even forces us into our 5-2 from here. It's going to be mostly 4-2 and some 4-3 from here. Even if Tennessee (say) had its perfect game and somehow stopped Allen for three possessions and also scored on three possessions I think Allen and our offense could make it up in a blink (because you have to play four quarters and no one has been close to stopping us and not only that but we're likely to be fully healthy on offense for the first time since the beginning of the year!) and the defense would make adjustments to shut whatever offense down. Then, and this is no slight thing, our special teams would make plays to get us back in there.

In short, we aren't going to lose before KC and this is more than likely the year we win it all.

Just have to stay relatively healthy from here.

trying very hard to stay grounded.

    medium overreaction!

But you have your own set of eyes, don't they see the best team in the NFL?

i could see if maybe you were on the team or something like that, so if your eyes are telling you the Bills have been the best team in the league for over two months now, it is OK to say the Bills are #1, Baby!

Though I'm sure MCBeane would say, and truthfully so, that all we are now is AFC East Champs, nothing more and they'd be right. Until we dethrone the champs and win it all, we're not the champs.

But I still think it is true that the Bills have been the best team in the NFL over the last two months.

The only team I thought could play with us was KC, but after what GB did to Tennessee I guess you have to add them to the list. That was a pretty impressive game.

Did you see how GB moved the ball on Tennessee? I think we move it just as easy if not, easier. And that's why I'm not afraid of all the other teams. The Bills are a three-headed beast constantly coming at you with superb execution. We're likea machine. What's scares me the most is weather thatwould completely ground the passing game. We definitely could lose under such conditions.

  9. I wish Brian Daboll all the best. He is one of us to the extreme.

I think a team drafting a QB would be most interested in him. It looks like Burrows and Herbert are going to make it to franchise QB without Brian Daboll. If I were him, I'd be looking for another Buffalo. Owners interested in winning Super Bowl, willing to spend to cap, letting the GM do his job. The Jets job would be perfect if the jets found the right GM. I think the jets have a lot of picks coming up and have a high one as well. That's what you want Daboll for...

I think the Bills could lose two other ranking employees to free agency. Joe Schoen, Brian Gaines And Maybe Leslie Frazier.....

Schoen And Gaines would walk away with our draft board which ducks!

We have Frazier's replacement in Eric Washington if need be....

Let me ask you all a better question. Who will be the next Buffalo Bills OC?  I imagine it will be from one of the teams that fired their HC?  Or maybe an assistant from another team? Anybody have any good guesses? McD was talking up Chad Hall last week but I doubt he is ready. Daboll Josh st understands play calling so we'll...... On the other hand, Brandon Beane got us three WRs that run their own offense and understand how to win the game on their own (it is just up to Allen to understand and play by the WRs Rules. A very simple path of least resistance plus extreme athleticism is our winning ticket. I think it is a bit hard on the QB, not certain which way the WRs are going .....I think that's why Allen tosses a ball or two to nowhere every game. This is so simple yet impossible to shut down really.

Just gotta say when John Brown plays again, the Bills will be one of the better teams of the century and I think that eventual Bills-chefs game will be the game of the century. Both teams have: outstanding QBs, skill players, OLs, Defenses, And Special Teams.  No other team in the league can play with either of us right now imho.... Our teams have it all..... I like the Bills in the rematch though. I think with John Brown, KC's defense, as good as it is, wont be able to stop us as Allen finds the one in single coverage and hits him. Davis and McKenzie perfect don't take your eyes off these guys players but every team does because of the pressure of Diggs, Smoke and Beasley.

On the other hand, I think the Bills D can force a turnover and force some punts. Tre White being a solid blue chip player and Edmunds being everywhere now that our DL is playing so well.... Congrats to Vernon Butler and Ed Oliver who really found their games together and watch in the playoffs for McD to cut Ed Oliver and the whole DL loose to make plays in the playoffs. Jerry Hughes is STILL our best DL though and he'll prove it once again this January.

Im just so excited to see these Buffalo Bills play anybody but especially the chefs who clearly are the second best team in the NFL don't let anybody tell you different.

  10. I don't know what Jefferson is doing in Minny, but Diggs is the guy the Bills turn to when they need to get the W.

Yes, Beasley too, but Diggs gets us so many important yards to key wins. Diggs and s a clutch difference maker that Josh Allen routinely relies on.

Beane wanted to make certain Josh had what he needed to turn into a franchise QB and there is nothing wrong with doing everything you can to ensure your QBs development; it was the smart way to go.

Dont take chances with your QB's development.

Watching Wentz looking absolutely clueless this year and badly regressing makes me really wonder...how much was Reich responsible for his successes? It seems like he started downhill once Reich left and this year he has hit rock bottom...he may no longer be a starting caliber QB in this league.

And that is what I worry about with Allen a little bit...Daboll has been instrumental to his success and maturation into a star for us...how much would Allen regress(if at all) if Daboll leaves for a HC coaching job this offseason.  There are expected to be a lot of opening, more so than any other year in recent memory perhaps, and Daboll has been a hot name for a year or two now.

Yes, I think it's very possible Allen falls apart if Daboll leaves this year. I think it likely he comes out cold next season no matter who replaces Daboll.

  12. The Bills will play three games between 12/7, Monday night 8:30 pm vs. SF, and 12/19 Saturday night 4:30pm vs. Denver.

3 games in < a 12 day span. It'll seem like they're on TV every other day almost! Yes!  Can they win them all?  We can't let the Stealers go 16-0 or even 15-1. If the freakin' Ravens can beat them next week, we have a shot at giving them two in a row, then maybe Cleveland beats them while they're reeling a bit.... Then maybe the Stealers path goes thru Buffalo?  I admit I'm being a bit of a optimist....

Then they get a nine day break to get ready for NE 2.

Then squish the fish 2 with a red-hot Josh Allen walking the Bills down the field repeatedly.

Bif, boom, bah, second in the conference.

Ideally, it's still too early to judge Beane. I think he was the 2017 mastermind and that draft looks pretty good.

The other two are hazy but anytime you get a Josh Allen alone, that's a winning draft.

Im hoping the rest of the 2018 draft and the 2019 draft kicks in before this season ends.

    Come on, Bills, come together.
