  1. Sure, a bit...

But none of our wide receivers have more than 3 receptions in any of our first 3 games.

Tyrod Taylor doesn't throw down the field this year. Just check downs to RBs and some passes to the TEs. We might as well not have WRs.

    Week 3 - 6 WR receptions

    Matthews: 3

    Holmes: 2

    K. Clay: 1

    Week 2 - 7 WR receptions

    Matthews: 3

    Holmes: 2

    Jones: 2

    Week 1 - 4 WR receptions

    Matthews: 2

    Jones: 1

    Holmes: 1

  2. I am the most optimistic I've ever been in my life as a fan of the Bills.

Born in 1989, the Super Bowl Era for me was non-existent. I pick up in 1998 with my first game being the San Francisco 49ers with Steve Young at Buffalo.

We started that year 1-3 and then beat the stacked 49ers squad to reach 10-6 that year to make the playoffs.

    I was hooked.

Got another taste of the playoffs that following year at Tennessee and the rest is history.

I think the Bills are finally doing things the right way and I have 100% faith in Coach McD to get things done and to lead us back to the playoffs and beyond.

  3. What I would have done:

Trade down from 10 to 27 to draft best CB available, likely White. Check.

Trade up to grab Zay Jones in round 2 as he was my favorite WR in the entire draft class. Check.

Round 3, draft Dion Dawkins. Not sure if trade up was necessary as Dan Feeney was still on board.

Round 3, trade up pick 91 to pick 76 giving us back to back picks and jumping above Panthers to select Daeshon Hall from Texas A&M.

Round 4, no pick due to trade up.

Round 5, pick 1 traded away - pick 2, Nathan Peterman. Surprised he lasted this long.

    Round 6 & 7, meh... Couldn't really tell you.

The Bills drafted very well imo.

  4. Watching Rosen play week 1 in College Station didn't leave me super impressed, but it was only the first game of the year and The Kyle Field.

I'll give him a pass. He did show good poise and pocket presence.

If it wasn't for Justin Evans incredibly athletic performance at safety, Rosen and UCLA take that game.

Lol at Peterman fans. Theres a very good chance he doesn't even make the team. We aren't keeping 4 QB's.

Donald and Rosen are going 1 and 2. Lamar Jackson isn't an NFL QB. We are in QB pergutory because we can't get a top pick. Going .500+- every year has destroyed this franchise. Not good enough for the playoffs, not bad enough to get a top pick

Peterman is better than you think, but of course it's all opinion. Not saying he's a savior but I would make a wager that he starts the year So QB3 behind Tyrod and Yates. I don't think Cardale is going to be a part of the rebuild with a new GM and Coach McD - I could be wrong.

If Peterman shows good promise, he could supplant Yates at the backup role.

I agree with you on QB purgatory, it has set us back - among other boneheaded front office decisions since drafting Todd Collins to present day.

About Darnold and Rosen going 1, 2...could easily happen but these discussions happen every year right?

Remember Barkley, Hackenberg, etc..? All supposed to be top 5 guys the year before they were drafted but things happen and other guys like Trubiski and Goff come out of nowhere to become a #2 overall pick.

  5. I think we take Barnett if available at 10 over WR.

I'm not yet sold on Williams, Davis and Ross - especially Top 10.

Barnett had like 28 sacks against SEC teams versus what, 11 for Garrett?

I'm an Aggie fan by association of living near here and I think the talent gap is small between Garrett, Thomas and Barnett. I personally like Thomas the best, but he is in a different mold of a player. I see him more as a Justin Smith versus say a pure edge rusher.

  6. I went to a couple of A&M games this year and I really liked what I saw out of Reynolds.

I think he could be taken as early as the late 2nd and last no longer than the 4th.

His upside is very good and he was great in the games I went to. Throwing to him was an auto first down and is an incredible possession receiver. He also is a great red zone target.

Another guy I like from A&M not named Myles Garrett is the Safety, Justin Evans. Possible 2nd round pick as well.

  7. I was a big fan of Leonard Johnson's coming out of college.

Went undrafted but became a starting corner in Tampa. In 2014 when Lovie Smith took over and installed the Tampa 2, and Johnson was used in a rotation. That 2014 Bucs team was downright awful.

Johnson I think broke his leg preseason the next year and was released or waived. Patriots picked him up which shows they thought he could play.

Think he got injured again either that year or the following year when he played for the Panthers.

If he can get through not being injured and he can play some zone coverage in McDermott's 4-3, he'll be okay.
