  1. Who's it going to be?

Will Dareus and Williams both play 3-tech inside?

Will Kelsay jump back to defensive end, or will his tenure in Buffalo come to an end?

Perhaps the Bills will draft another DE early to replace the aging Kelsay (Coples?).

One man I think many people are forgetting about is the former 3rd round pick Alex Carrington.

With Dareus and Williams probably both inside, where would former 2nd round pick Torell Troup fit into the mix, assuming he can come off his injuries and be a force. Would that allow Dareus or Williams to spend a little time playing 5-tech in certain packages.

What do you all think about the defensive line depth when healthy? Dareus, Williams, Troup, Johnson, Carrington, Edwards and Kelsay.

  2. The Pats have something like six players (Brady, Welker, Light, Mankins, Wilfork and Gotkowski - Koppen and Wright are on IR) left from their 2007-2008 Super Bowl team. That's about a 90% turnover in four years. So what is the take-away from this fact?

    - If you've got a Hall of Fame coach and a Hall of Fame quarterback, the rest is pretty much filler;

    - They don't overpay middle of the road veteran players. They let them walk. The holdovers from four years ago are All-Pro caliber or close to it (except for the kicker). That's why they can have a dominate team for a decade and still have a bunch of cap room.

    - They're ruthless in getting rid of veterans for draft picks (see above) and trading down on draft day for more picks. It allows faster turnover of roster but still brings in fresh talent.

    - For all their high draft picks, their drafts have been really mediocre. They've had some impressive hits (Mayo, Gronkowski, Hernandez) but a huge number of misses. (Check out their attempts to draft a wide receiver over the last ten years). Last year's draft was a joke. On a team needing defense, they draft OL, RB, RB and QB in first three rounds.

    - Don't know what league average is but it's probably around 75% for roster turnover in four years. That's why when the Bills or posters to this site talk about a three, four or five year plan, you can't do anything but laugh. Next year is it for Buddy and Chan to show it's going in the right direction.

    I'd like to say no.

If you look at the Giants and the Patriots, its Coach, QB and kicker ;)

  3. I love the picks in that mock draft. At first I saw the second pick and was like "DT? WTF? No way." Then I read the guy's thought process and really liked that vision of the Bills defense.

All he had to say is to be reminiscent of phat Pat Williams and you were hooked I'm guessing, lol.

This pick would render Troup completely useless and a James Hardy-like bust! :wallbash:

  4. They're unfortunately not going to be at the show. And as others mentioned, they seem to be dying although companies have turned it around in the past (Apple almost went out of business back in the day). I just got a Blackberry Torch from work and I love it, but their time may have passed.

Actually, Blackberry is going to be there and they have one of the larger exhibits in the hall they are in. See attached picture...

I assume you mean beside going bust??

They are turning it around now. I don't own any Blackberry or RIM products but I am interested in them.

They sponsored the New Year's Eve show at Time Square, had major advertisements on ESPN, etc.

2012 is going to be their major push. Either they pull through or bankrupt by end of Q4 2012/Q1 2013.

  5. Well, good luck...it's a great concept, one that I would definitely use often...i mean there are so many ideas that can be folded into a site like this...all social and recreational...leave huff post and drudge to the news...people want to know what is trending to get ideas what to do on any night or day of the week.

I think for the sixth and final tab I will create a Top 10 App page, seeing how last year was the year of the app, and I'm sure will replicate itself in the years to come

  6. Flo Rida & 2 LFMAO songs...what's not to love? :-)

Aggregate a bunch of other varied pop culture current top tens or trends and I'll bookmark it.

for example...top ten itunes d/l, top 10 app d/l, top 10 global twitter hashtags, segment the top 10 music into genres, top 10 netflix rentals, top 10 gamefly rentals...become the drudge of top 10's....

Thanks for the advice. Right now with the web builder I create the pages with I am limited to six. The home page, movies, songs, books and video games are 5/6 unfortunately, unless I fork up the dough to get the pro version.

    Looking at alternatives

  7. Rules have changed to help the passing game. Perhaps we should look at rest of the numbers instead of just the one to prove your point.

    QB Pass Attempts

    Matthew Stafford 663

    Drew Brees 653

    Tom Brady 611

    Philip Rivers 582

    Ryan Fitzpatrick 569

So, how does this make Fitzpatrick's pass attempts look so awe full after seeing the rest of the stats.

Fitzpatrick doesn't deserve to even be mentioned with the other listed QBs. :wallbash:

He's not awful, but he isn't great either.

I would say, serviceable or marginal. Mediocre, like this franchise.

And you totally missed the point. Fitz isn't a QB who should be throwing the ball so much like the elite QBs do in this league.

  8. Don't forget 16 interceptions that bounce off his hands...

Look @ who is throwing the ball into the wrong spots. Fitz tries to sling them in there like a Favre throw. Let me tell you something as well, Favre threw a whole slew of INT similar to the CJ tip/pick today because of how hard he's trying to fling the ball in a zone. Favre is the all time leader in INTs and that helped to contribute to that.

  9. Taking his stats from the Jets game and extrapolating...Spiller "could" have had the following this year:

    229 carries for 1,189 yards (5.2 ypa) & 8 touchdowns and 2-3 fumbles

    64 receptions for 499 yards (7.8 ypc) & 5 touchdowns

I think Spiller is an exciting player, and obviously Fred is a great back as well. What floors me is Fitzpatrick's pass attempt numbers:

This year Ryan Fitzpatrick attempted 569 passes which is approximately 20% more passes than Jim Kelly threw in his highest pass attempt season.

    WTF Chan !!!!!
