WOW - What the hell is Mills doing that is eliciting that response?

He sounds like one of those players the Bills DON'T want on their team.

Isn't Mills the guy who was pissed about Tyrod being benched and then elected not to block Bosa so Peterman could get blown up leading to at least 1 of the INTs?

I don’t think the other two have much trade value unfortunately.  Peterman has one of the worst starts in nfl history under his belt and AJ was sitting there for any team to sign.

Unfortunately, he won't get a mulligan until he starts Week 1 @ Baltimore.

McD made one mistake last year and it was that game.  Peterman was coming along, and was looking pretty good for a 5th-round pick.

He was named starter mid-week, taking a west coast trip to face one of the better defenses in the NFL with the best d-line tandem in the league in Bosa and Ingram.

KB going down on the first series stalled momentum.  Our O-line was very frail that week too as I recall...

I'm glad that ugly half of football didnt get at Peterman too much.  Kid has some swagger and moxy, and I wish him all the best.

We got to be able to root for competition.

Guys like Shaq (and I would also say Hughes) are talented football players, but not the kind that dominate, change offensive game plans, and open up opportunities for other players. They are more the kind of players that can flourish when there is another dominant player on the line, like a Mario Williams. Hughes can wreak havoc when someone like Mario is drawing attention away from him, and I suspect Shaq could develop into that. But without that other player, they struggle, because they are not at that level.

As such, I don't think either one is worthy of a 1st round pick.

We've seen the potential in Lawson, or at least I believe I have.

If he can ward off the injury bug, he can be a Pro Bowl caliber DE, that I do believe.

He reminds me a lot of Adrian Clayborn.

Im trying to understand what people expect from Josh Allen. Im looking at past years QBs. Do you see any of this years QB draft class better than previous years?

These guys are the hits...and I use that term loosely. So we draft one QB in the 1st round and we expect him to be a top 5 QB? Lets be realistic. Youre not gonna get Brady or Rodgers. Itd be a freakin miracle if any of these guys even got to the level of an Eli Manning, Phillip Rivers. It really is a crap shoot guys. Lets just hope a QB can start for us and be good enough to contend in the playoffs.

    Notable 2016 QBs:

    - Carson Wentz

    - Jared Goff

    - Dak Prescott

I dont think much of Dak and I think Jared had a decent year last year. Nothing grand.  Wentz and Goff were twice the prospects of this years class. So logically you wont see a QB better than Goff from this class.

    Notable 2015 QBs:

    - Jameis Winston

    - Marcus Mariotta

Same thing here. If you drafted a QB in 2018. Youre praying they could at least get somewhere near their level.

    Notable 2014 QBs:

    - Blake Bortles

    - Derek Carr

    - Jimmy G

I'll tell you what. Tremaine Edmunds is absurdly good. I am so ecstatic we got him at #16, and we got Allen? My goodness what a draft.

Also, I really like Harrison Phillips - he plays a lot like Kyle and has some of the same swim and rip moves on pass rush technique. Plusnalsona stout run defender, very intelligent and pretty instinctive.

Can't tell you I've ever felt this good about our first three picks. We are very lucky.

Watching him right now on YouTube. Lol

I watched the Stanford game live when they played Washington St., he got ejected in it I believe, but I knew he was someone to be watched when I saw him make a great play in the backfield, followed by the commentators stating that he was the leading tackler on his team.

    That's crazy.

Yeah, I think he led all DTs in the nation in tackles.

Lunch pail, smart, versatile and athletic DT with a high motor. Sound familiar? :)

Dont get me wrong Allen has the most potential absolutely but potential in the NFL coming out of the draft has proven to be harder to reach then it has to achieve. I hope Allen becomes the next great QB but I think if we were going to take a project we could have kept some of our picks and did so. And i believe we could have stayed at 12 of maybe only had to move up to maybe 9 or 10 to get Allen or Rosen. The Bills were trying to move up to 5 if the Broncos didnt have Chubb on the board still...so i just think they jumped the gun for a player that has no chance to be a day 1 starter. I believe a player shouldn't be taken in the top 15 if he isn't a day 1 starter. I dont understand why so many people have faith in Josh Allen i understand we as a fan base want a franchise QB but ive been around long enough to know forcing one in the 1st round isn't a good idea JP losman and EJ are perfect examples. Mason Rudolph is a better QB coming out of college then Allen is thats not even a debate. Allen only got drafted on potential not stats or proven performance

Rudolph is not a better QB coming out of college.

I've not watched any Wyoming games, but I have listened to talk radio and have read so much from well respected national pundants, sports scientists and others who have talked up Allen. I hold their opinions in higher regard and many of them believe Allen is the best QB in this draft.

Not a single one said Rudolph, Jackson, Lauletta, or Rosen were the best.

Maybe because none of them were worth it.

Oh sure... They worked a few of them out... Took Meetings... There were some nibbles, but ultimately no bite...

You'd think with a 41-year old under center, they'd be interested in a youthful understudy.. Someone to pass the torch to... Not this time...

NE stayed the hell away from the top five, and let everyone else splurge...  Some won't see any special meaning in it, but I think it's because they knew this crop was crap.

    Thoughts?

Contrary to popular belief, Belichick makes a lot of poor personnel decisions.

Jimmy G., Chandler Jones benching Butler to name a few recent ones.

We gave away an opportunity to build a deep solid roster and to give away so much for a QB who I believe was the 7th or 8th rated QB in this draft was a huge mistake. The trade up for Edmunds would have been a great move if we didnt already give away both 2nds for Allen. I would have preferred us to stay put and still would have probably been able to get Allen but I'd rather have had Rosen. Hands down the best passer in this draft. But i would have wanted us to use all the picks to build a savage squad and gave away the farm next year for a QB and gave mccarron a chance to prove himself n just to build a team that was a QB away from greatness. I hope Allen develops into a Super Bowl QB but if he doesnt this draft will go down as a huge franchise failure and will set us back for years compared to what we could have done with the arsenal of picks we had

Who you believe was the 7th or 8th QB?

Now I know not to read this garbage ever again, I've read all I need to know.

Rosen was talked about as probably the best pure pocket quarterback in the draft. He was available for the Bills to grab but they passed.

Any options on why exactly we didn't like him?

    -Injury concerns?

    -Attitude?

-Concerns about playing in the cold weather?

-Was he just overrated in general?

    Thoughts?

Injury concerns likely played a factor.

Attitude likely did not play a factor.

    Cold weather concerns, doubtful.

Overrated?  No, he is closest to pro ready as a pure pocket passer.

2 concussions last year plus shoulder injury a couple of years ago likely played a factor, but more important - Allen was viewed as the best, can't pass up prospect.
