1. How much do those things cost anyway. I think that it is pretty minor league that we only have one at the Ralph. Do you think that we could have bought another one for the $500,000 signing bonus gave to his boy Gildon?  :D

At that time the ability to project instant replay in 5 shades of black and white was hi-tech. :P

  2. The PM feature is turned off for you for some reason. I just wanted to let you know I mailed you the check for the tickets last week. You should get it any day now. Please let me know when you recieve it. Thanks.

Rich, you need to clean your PMs out, your file runneth over.

PLEASE send me your e-mail ASAP about the Jets game. (click on my screen name for my address)

    Thansk!

  3. It's the same a$$holes that *cheered* when Rob Johnson went down with his last injury as a Bill.(Regardless if you liked,or hated Johnson,it was still classless)

If this crap continues,I'll stay at home next year.

I will not let let the morons ruin my tailgate with TSW. It would be less of a party without you Bart!

Our section was actually pretty well behaved, and loud when we needed to be. B)

  4. She wakes up at night in agony. This has been happening for almost 8 weeks. She has been to 5 doctors. The MRI is on thursday, and we will supposedly have more answers. There is also another, seemingly less serious problem.

Right now, she is, of all places, at work. I am urging her to quit and take it easy, but she does not want to jeopardize payments of college tuition for my daughter. Speaking of daughters, all 3 of them are worried sick.

I tend to think of myself as fairly strong. I have been shot at, hit with rocks and a brick, punched and sued. The thing is, right now I am scared.

I have been a part of the TBD Community for many years, and have seen some positive results.

I am asking for some positive thoughts and/or prayers for Millie, the wife of 20 years of a cop and a Bills fan.

      Thanks.

Hang in there, Bill. Sending my prayers to you and your family.

Sometimes people go to work in the face of extreme adversity because it is how they stay sane. Feel free to e-mail or pm me if you want to talk. Let us know how the MRI comes out. I have had three head and brain stem MRIs and I can say they are not bad. Let me know if you have questions about that.

  5. I'm making a sign for the next home game  "Wave on DEFENSE idiots!"....And what's with some peoplle getting in with HUGE backpacks and then some of us having our small fanny packs searched for bottles??  Hopefully Guest Services will be calling me today as I filled out a complaint about all the hockey...cheerleaders...football kids selling candy and pepperoni and junk as a fundraiser.    I know for a fact that Hunter's Hope asked to do some fundraising at the Ralph and was told NO!!!!! (and that was both times JK was honored!)

    29378

    Problem was, you asked!

SOMEONE is always selling something or fund raising. Just do it... I know you are legit and have a very worthy cause. No one will hassle you.

  6. Had a guy several rows in front of us who tried to get the wave going - all game long. The he expressed disgust when he got very little response from the crowd.

THEN, late in the game the whole stadium starts doing the wave. Problem was the Bills had the ball!!

I was screaming at this guy: "Sit down, WE have the ball!" but he was too pleased with himself to hear anything, and too ignorant to know the wave was intended to rattle the OTHER team with the ball. <_<

I was hoping the national media did not catch this. Made Buffalo fans look like complete maroons! ;)

  7. Im NOT one to argue with folks like Mark and Tom who have watching this team for MUCH longer than I have and were there (I wasnt).

BUT IMHO, YOU GUYS ARE WAY OFF HERE.

What was seen on TV was MUCH different. What I saw on my TV was a team that played hard. The playcalling was solid and the team gave effort. Mularkey and his new staff seemed to be in control. It got sloppy in parts and obviously, the defense on the last drive was not good. But the team WAS playing...the effort WAS there....at least where I was watching from, 300 miles away.  <_<

And frankly. Im a little sick and tired of the Chuck Dickerson-type "The Bills suck, fire everyone, the NFL is against us, bench the QB for ANYONE else, I wish it was 1991!!!" posts that seem to follow every_single_loss this team endures from a myriad of folks. And GUARANTEED that if that last play wound up as an incompletion, this thread wouldnt even exist.

    Just my 2 cents.

    28244

Rich, argue with me any time. There are many fans MUCH younger than me who can analyze the game better than I ever will.

Just don't ever lump me in with the Dickerson types! I have NEVER been with that crowd. ;)

  8. I'm really not sure which game you watched Rockpile or where your seats were, but the effort was there in spades. To see that commitment to the run against the best Run D in the league was a thing of utter beauty. It's a different offensive philosophy than some have seen here in a LONG time. Maybe that's it. I don't know. If you weren't impressed you're probably in for a long boring season. Me, I've been waiting to see this approach to our offense for a long time.  The D was all over the field except for 2 prayers and that is a lack of effort? Moulds looks like he's back in ProBowl form but the fumbles he had were indeed inexcuseable. I agree on the TE hands comments :-).

    28159

Cheap shot? ;) Same game, good angle. B)

I was very impressed with the D for 58 minutes.

I loved 32 runs for 106 yards by Henry and McGahee. BUT - commitment to the run? 3rd and goal from the Jagwads 1 yard line? Bledsoe goes back to pass and get sacked. WTF? Great call! Where were the two TEs, RB, FB??

They lacked the heart in the last few minutes to put the game away. Three 4th down conversions, the last to win the game.

I NEVER giveup on the Bills, but this game pissed me off! <_<

  9. THURMAN--I would agree with you---but we have DB at QB....there is no hope with him in there. And the sooner Donahoe admits his mistake and gets rid of him the better off we will be.

    28121

This loss had NOTHING to do with Bledsoe. I am not a big DB fan (nor a DB basher) but I cannot understand how anyone who watched this game could put the blame for the loss on him!

    'Splain it to me, Lucy!

  10. Mark and Badol... you hit the nail on the head. Great posts.

It was an ugly game. At post game wind down, it was pretty much agreed that 1-0 is better than 0-1, but even if they reversed the decision on the final touchdown, we were still not impressed. The Bills lacked spirit and the Jags never gave up. THAT was the difference in the game.

Oh yeah -a tight end that can catch and hold the ball would be nice.

NG, I will go out on a limb too. Moulds has lost his spark. He needs to find it and pass it along to some of the younger players who have not experienced wining teams. On one play, he caught the ball, turned to see the 1st down marker and stepped out of bounds. Had he turned back onto the playing field, he would have deeked his defender and the way was clear for 20 more yards at least. I said to my friend them that Moulds is done. I hope I am wrong.

On the positive, the Bills were winning for 59 minutes and 56 seconds of the game.

TKO made a hit to rival Stratton's 'hit heard around the world'. When that helmet was rolling ten yards back up the field we looked to see it there was a head in it!

I am still optimistic about the season, just a bit deflated this evening.

Fantastic tailgate. This was the best yet. When it comes to fans, "nobody circles the wagons like the Stadium Wall".

  11. Did you go to the Hot pockets school of spelling? Its not scoot, and it aint Scooter, and it aint scrot, its SCOTT!! Course, Scooter sounds good though   ;)
