  1. I think the Bills should take a look at him. He's a good player. He could compete with Woods for the #2 spot IMO. Coming off injury, would be relatively cheap. He was at about 3mill/yr with Cleveland.

    @profootballtalk

Browns release veteran WR Brian Hartline, per source.

Every time I saw him, he dropped passes and looked horrible. I don't know how much of that was him or that scrub Tannenhill. . .but I am not sold. Minor contract with minimual commitment yet. . .roster spot needs to be earned

  2. Overrated - Lee Evans.

Had one good year. Average the rest of the time. Maybe it's one the QB selection, but sorry, he was in the league a long time and barely put up #1 WR numbers.

    Underrated: Phil Hansen

If a DE gets between 7 - 10 sacks on average for your career, you're someone that the league looks at. But, when you play opposite Bruce on the DL, you are normally overlooked.

  3. QB - Taylor (no upgrade needed)

HB: - Shady/Williams (no upgrade needed)

    FB - Felton (UPGRADE)

WR1 - Watkins (no upgrade needed)

    WR2 - Woods (UPGRADE)

Slot - Hogan (Upgrade with Woods or re-sign Harvin)

TE - Clay (no upgrade needed). . .sorry, didn't forget, Brainfarted out the wrong name.

    RT - Henderson (UPGRADE)

RG - Miller (no upgrade needed)

C - Wood (no upgrade needed)

    LG - Incognito (re-sign)

LT - Glenn (no upgrade needed)

LE - Mario (probably will be cut unless something is done so UPGRADE)

DT - KW (no upgrade needed)

DT/RE - Dareus (no upgrade needed)

OLB/RE - Hughes (no upgrade needed)

ILB - Bradham (iffy, shows good then bad so possible UPGRADE)

ILB - I have no idea if switch to 3-4 who would be here. Tarpley looked good in limited action so UPGRADE)

OLB - Lawson (retain, no upgrade needed)

CB - Gilmore (no upgrade needed)

SS - Rambo/Graham (no upgrade needed)

FS - AW (no upgrade needed)

CB - Darby (no upgrade needed)

    K - Carpenter (MASSIVE UPGRADE)

    P - Schmidt - (no upgrade needed)

LS - Sanborn - (no upgrade needed)

    PR/KR - UPGRADE

ST Gunner - Easley (no upgrade needed)

LB, OL and WR look to be our needed. Let's get it done and upgrade this team for the long haul, OBD.

  4. Rambo was a playmaker for us down the stretch last season. Interceptions, forced fumbles, and he is one of those guys who just loves to hit people. Now that Whaley has come out and said that AW is 100% I wonder what the plan is. I, for one, hope we move AW back to FS and keep Rambo at SS if we don't add anyone for the positions in the offseason. This move leaves Graham coming off the bench in some capacity, but after his performance this past year I don't mind that. Let him be a the 4th or 5th CB. Granted, this is all assuming that AW can continue his career once the pads start flying around. What say you TSW?

Platoon Rambo, AW and Graham at safety. Dump DW now!

Start Gilmore and Darby at CB, McFumbles as NB, Robey as DB.

Secondary isn't really a concern for me. LB is a concern and is the pass rush.

  5. First off, anyone but the Pats is a happy playoffs to me. I believe that either the Cards or Seahawks will win it all. Today's game makes me think Seahawks. With that, here is who I'm hoping for:

1 - Denver (Peyton for two)

2 - Pittsburgh (Grown to like Antonio Brown)

3 - Packers (reminds me of Buffalo, Olivia Munn on TV, Rodgers for 2)

    4 - Cardinals (they've earned it)

5 - Seahawks (Freddie, Lynch, Russell - not Carroll or Sherman)

6 - Bengals (been a long time, so why not)

7 - Texans (We beat them, so moral victory

8 - everyone else, who cares.

    Anyone but New England.

  6. As far as game or plays, i would say the Jax game, but to me the cutting of Fred Jackson was huge. It didn't matter if he has 15 carries for 65 yds all season long, what he brought to the table in his leadership skills alone should have earned him a spot on this roster. There was a huge leadership void in that locker room as noted by Boobie and others this wk.

That was it. This team gave up after that.

They briefly mentioned Wes Welker to the Bills? IMO he's too old, expensive, and would not nearly be the threat with Buffalo that he's been in Den/NE with a pin-point accurate QB.

Old, overpriced. . .we have HArvin and Hogan for the slot and Woods/Watkins on the ends with Clay/O'Leary at TE. For the first time in a long time, I can say the Bills do not need receivers of any kind.
