Here's your big chance to pick the score.
QB: A rookie on a bad team vs. Fitz, who seems to be lighting it up. BUFFALO ADVANTAGE
HB: Benson may be suspended vs. Jackson, who no one can stop, and Spiller, who will take on a more Reggie Bush role. BUFFALO ADVANTAGE
WR: I see nothing worth mentioning vs. the no-name receivers we have. BUFFALO ADVANTAGE
OL: Seven sacks in three games vs. one for our line. Buffalo Edge
DL: Disruptive force, while ours has yet to make a whimper. Cincy Edge
LB: Underperforming Cincy LBs vs. Overachieving Buffalo LBs. Buffalo Edge
DB: Other than Clements, there is nothing I see in Cincy worth mentioning. Buffalo Edge
ST: No real return game for Cincy. Spiller and McFumbles are good, but not great. Buffalo Edge
Coaching: Cincy is 1 - 2 and beat a bad Cleveland team, only to be beaten by a mediocre SF team. Buffalo just beat the AFC standard bearer coming from behind. BUFFALO ADVANTAGE
Edge +1, ADVANTAGE +2
Buffalo 12 - Cincy 1 Buffalo +11
Spread is Buffalo -3 and the over/under is 44.
Take Buffalo to beat the spread and beat the over.
I don't see this being close. Buffalo by two scores. 31 - 17

I can't wait to see a future SI cover saying "The BIG Bad Bills are Back!"
I remember that SI Cover and the look of pain on the Raiders' player's face being swarmed by our BIG BAD BILLS!!!!
-
Be careful what you wish for...
10) Will the Bills look past the Bengals and get beat this week?
9) 75% of teams that go 3-0 make the playoffs. Hmm, remember the last time the Bills were 3-0 ?
8) The more games the Bills win, the higher the ticket prices will be the following season.
7) More wins = more players wanting new contracts & more money.
6) More wins = more fans going to the games. That means more cops on O.T. Can Erie County afford it?
5) More wins means fans will expect more
4) A better Bills team means less criticism. Sully could be out of a job.
3) More Bills wins could lead to the demise of WGR.
2) A better Bills team means lower draft picks
1) A good Bills team will put them on Monday Night Football with that blithering idiot John Gruden
The only one I'd have a hard time living with is #1. Gruden is a total ass. Alas, I could turn down the volume and tune into Westwood 1.
So... enjoy the Bills run for as long as it lasts. Probably took the late 80's and most of the 90s for granted.
10: I doubt it completely. They didn't overlook Oakland and prepare for NE.
9: Yes I do, and that head coach's name of Dick Jauron, a mistake hire. Chan is not DJ.
8: I'd rather pay more for a winner and less for a loser, wouldn't you?
7: If they are worth it, pay them. Jackson, Fitz and Johnson deserve it. That's the core of this team's offense. If Nelson and Chandler continue, them too.
6: As NWA says, eff the po-lice! Who cares.
5: Good. Maybe that will pressure miser Ralph to open his wallet a little more, the cheap old coger.
4: Good. One less diphole hack writer.
3: Good. One less worthless, generic radio station.
2: We can always trade up.
1: At least it's better than that pseudo-intellectual Denis Miller and that puke-inducing retard Tony Kornhole!

I've been reading many different opinions & after watching the first few games, I'll admit I was wrong. I was wrong about Chan, Nix & their decisions on how to improve our team. I felt that we needed much more work to start being competitive & after seeing the effort / heart the team has, the chemistry is working.
This team has a heartbeat bigger than most & talent that plays it's heart out, it shows on the scoreboard & in the stats. The efforts made by the players cannot go unrecognized & I hope that the powers that be step up & pay them accordingly, without the players having to voice themselves to the media.
This thread is designed to man up & call out past things you have said or thought that basically is like confession (Catholic thing). After doing this, think of the Whammie Weenie that we all are & hum the Bills shout song, then all things that you thought are purged & you can become a fan again.
GO BILLS!
I was wrong on this game, and i am so happy i am.

Bills win on Sunday, I will say the team has turned the corner. Bills beat both the Cheating Snobs from Boston and the NY Traitors in NJ and this team is for real!!!
-
Let's look unit by unit:
QB: Fitz v. Brady. I have to give the Patriots on this one. Pats ADVANTAGE
HB: Pats running game is a tertiary option after straight passing and screen passing. Fred/CJ carry the load. Bills edge
WR: For the first time, I will give this a push. Welker/85/Hernandez vs. Johnson/Nelson/Jones/Chandler seems like a push to me - EVEN
OL: I don't believe I am going to say this, but this is also a PUSH. Our line is holding up amazingly. - EVEN
DL: Haynesworth/Wilfork vs. Dareus/Williams. I will give a slight edge to the PATS on this - Pats Edge
LB: Bills Edge because the Pats D is getting shredded this year so far. - Bills Edge
DB: Pats 2ndary is getting shredded. Bills secondary got shredded one game and held another. - Bills Edge
ST: This is a push to me. EVEN
HC: Pats have an HOF Coach. Bills have a retread that's doing well in a rebuilding project. Pats ADVANTAGE
Edge counts as +1, ADVANTAGE counts as +2
Final Score: Pats 5, Bills 3. Even = 3
One paper, Pats will take this one. I figure a semi-close game.
Spread - Pats -8. Bills have no respect from odds makers.
Over/Under - 53.5 Odds makers are expecting a shootout.
Pats to win. I will say they will not cover the spread. I will take the over for this. I do expect a major shootout.
Pats 35 - Bills 32
With that prediction, I HOPE I AM WRONG!!! GO BILLS!!!!
-
I am expecting a loss here. Until our defense shores up some, I see another Brady passing-fest and more Brady-gasm!
-
Never has a goose egg in receptions and yards been given such positive attention for a man making #1 receiver money! Face it. Evans was over-rated. The year he had 82 receptions, he was the #2 man.
Evans is a glorified #2 receiver, sliding down to #3.
Look at our last two HBs we let go. Willis' career is pretty much over, Marshawn looks like he is just going through the motions and tired on a really bad team.

Palace of Points game, The Comeback, Winning the AFC East when we tore down the goal posts, 1992 puntless victory over the 49ers, Flutie starting as our QB and giving me hope that Kelly was replaced, any TD that included Kelly/Reed, any time a Bill planted Dan Marino into the turf!
-
Wide Right. Music city miracle. Kelly's retirement. Reed/Smith/Thomas being released. Donahue being hired. Jauron being hired. 15 straight losses to New England.
Those are my darkest moments.

I won 12 on my pick 'em in the first week (Bills were my upset). I have the Bills winning this week. I do not see it being close.
Denver is horrid and almost took Oakland at home. Campbell is an awful QB and Denver's days of run stopping are down. Basically, the Broncos are a mess and sliding down.
Bills look to be improving and going up. Let's look at their defense:
DL: This unit is their core. Kelly and Seymour are just beasts and the ends are good compliments.
LB: Now they are starting to get weaker. That LB corp is average-to-good, the exception being pass rusher Wimbley. Screens are good to get passed the pass rush and Jackson is a good receiving HB.
DB: I consider this the weakest part of their defense. Very young, very raw and not too deep. Patience and timing will allow the Bills receivers to open up against them. This might be a game where Nelson and Chandler (holy crap. . .I mentioned a TE in the Bills offense) could do well.
Let's look at their offense:
QB: Campbell? You're kidding, right?
HB: More than solid, but also bruising. This part scares me completely, but again, if Charles can be shut down, so can McFadden.
WR/TE: There is NOTHING here that scares me. Their receivers are average at best. . .their QB is G-d awful and with no run, there is no pass with Oakland. Just like Chiefs.
OL: Good, solid line that protects well.
Comparisons:
QB: Bills edge (I'll take Fitz over Campbell once a day and twice on sundays)
HB: Even (both are about the same, except Spiller is more of a speed back and Bush is more power)
WR: Bills edge (I smell a big day for Nelson and Stevie)
TE: Slight Bills edge (if Chandler wasn't a fluke)
OL: Raiders edge (I still do not have faith in our line completely)
DL: Even (yes, our DL has improved that much with Dareus and Williams)
LB: Bills edge (Barnett is a major improvement and I believe we will see more of Davis and Morrison this week)
DB: Bills edge (McFumbles, Williams, Florence, Wilson, Byrd, Scott and Corner{?} are a bit better than the Raiders
K: Raiders BIG edge (never been a Lindell fan)
P: Bills BIG edge (Moorman should have his number retired)
Bills edge: 6
Raiders edge: 2
Even: 1
On paper, this should be a major blow out at home. Bills are favored -3 and the over/under is 43.
Bills to win and beat the spread. I'd go for the under.
Final score: 31 - 10 Buffalo
-
not losing.

one word: crap! put total in front of it as a modifier.
