Economically depressed, no real industry left, western Buffalo is a slum/ghetto. . .years of governmental neglect and misuse by those that run the city and Erie County. . .most of upstate NY is not anything like it used to be in its heyday.
Which is explains why NY has gone from 33 EVs in 1990 to 29 in 2010 and will probably go down again in 2020.
Disagree or not, but until the industry is revitalized, Buffalo is pretty much like most non-major NE and Rust Belt cities. . .a dinosaur to an age long over.
Utica fell that way when the GE plant closed on Broad Street and the Mills left for North Carolina.
Rochester has been this way since the 1970s.
Binghampton is one IBM plant move away from being a ghost town.
Niagara Falls hasn't been the same since the Canadian side was developed.
Syracuse is about the only Upstate city with any life to it, mainly because of a prestigious private university that is the life blood of the city.
Face it. . .if it isn't the Hudson Valley, the City or The Island, most of NY is pretty dead and, if not dead, dying quickly.
This isn't politics. This is reality. Upstate New York needs to adjust to life in 2017. It is no longer the manufacturing are industrial base of the country, since heavy industry is all but dead here.

Henderson gets Crohn's disease, loses, if memory serves me, 2.5 feet of intestines to this disease. . .used Med. MJ for the pain and pops hot on a drug test while his intestines are outside of his body. . .TEN GAME SUSPENSION.
Brown beats the living hell out of his wife. The Giants cover it up. The NFL minimizes it until it turns into a full blown scandal. Then the NFL and the Giants go into rapid "blame the victim, CYA" mode until it's too much. . .ONE GAME SUSPENSION
Rice does the same thing Brown did. And it's videotaped. No one covers it up. The NFL goes into full "holier than thou" mode. Rice is vilified in public and in the NFL. . .UNTOUCHABLE and LOSS OF CAREER.
I wonder why Brown got treated so much better than Rice and Henderson. Oh yeah. . .I know why. But don't let that obvious fact make you realize the truth.

I think its time for Fox Play by Play man Dick Stockton to retire. He made some pretty egregious announcement errors today in the Bills game...among them:
1) Called 49ers coach Chip Kelly Jim Kelly.
2) Called Bills backup QB EJ Manuel Eli Manuel
3) Said the Bills had the biggest lead of the game with a 12 point margin when they were up 22.
4) Said the Bills lost 5 yards on a play when they actually gained a yard but started at 1st and 15 instead of 1st and 10 because of a 12 men in the huddle penalty to start the 3rd quarter.
And he had about 6 or 7 other terrible spot calls throughout the game...
I realize they have spotters who tell them the down and distance after the play, and that guy deserves to be fired too because he is terrible as well, but Stockton screwed up plenty all on his own, lmao...
He needs to ride off into the sunset...
Anything is better than Joe Buck, Cris Collingsworth and Troy Aikman.

to release Manny Lawson...hard to imagine Lawson having a bigger impact than Alexander who has been very good rushing the passer and also active stopping the run as well...
What a pleasant surprise from a guy expecting to be a role player and key Special Teamer.
Alexander leading the team in sacks and seems to be getting constant pressure off the edge and even up the middle at times...
Another key LB pickup by Whaley along with Zach Brown
I don't know if he can keep it up, but seven sacks in five games, along with Hughes' four are sure nice!

Don't boo him. Ignore him! Get silent and turn your back whenever his name is mentioned or said over the loud speaker.
The Chinese do that each time the Japanese national teams are introduced in China. They just turn their backs and remain deathly silent. And the Chinese have more of an ax to grind with the Japanese (Rape of Nanking, launching two aggressive wars against China in forty years that cost the lives of almost 40 million Chinese people) and any of you have with Kap.
So, if you want to protest him at the game for daring you speak is mind (whatever the reason), just remain silent. It's that simple. Any protest gives his cause more press. Remaining silent, or just ignoring him completely, does nothing but show what he is doing means nothing.

And as I told you when you tried grandstanding about this in another thread: he plays for the other team; he's going to get booed. Fans are probably going to chant "USA" just to troll him...and guess what: it'll be the same everywhere else he plays.
USA! You can protest so long as I agree with your stance. If I don't, I will make myself look like a fool.
Best protest if you don't like his position is to IGNORE him so it doesn't gain traction and make for more talking. But don't let that sink into the jingoism of supporting symbols. After all, the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are just God damned pieces of paper, as one former president stated so skillfully.

All for the social stance, but the way he is protesting is wrong...its a slap in anyone's face that has served his/her country (IMO)
My brother and uncle both served (army and navy). Both have no problems. So I guess it's not a slap in the face of anyone that has served.

He deserves a playoff game. Get to show his stuff on the national stage. Unlike Fred Jackson, he still has some in the tank. I love the guy. By far my favorite Bill of this century.

Yes he made a few clutch plays today, but the offense ran thru Shady. It has been now 4 games that Tyrod has flat out played awful in.
Outside the 1st quarter today he is not looking very good, almost seems like he is regressing. Can't convert on 3rd down, holding on to the ball way to long, not throwing it away.
There are plenty games left but right now I would not pay Tyrod 20+mill next season, especially if he plays like this for the remainder of the season and there are good rookie QB's that come out.
He HAS to play better. He is great at not turning the ball over but his inability to convert on 3rd down is hurting the entire team.
Need to see more of the gameplan used against the patriots, quick passes and short dropbacks.
