  1. “We all” have known that a sitting President is not going to be indicted for anything. Trump had immunity outside of impeachment from 2017-2020. The last gasps of the current GOP resides with Trump and people like Elise Stefanik, Matt Gaetz, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor-Greene and Jim Jordan. Outside of actual politicians they’ve got Kari Lake, Mike Flynn, My Pillow Guy and some lawyers who are probably going to be disbarred and indicted for Federal crimes. Trump has razed the party so completely that once revered people like Mike Pence, Lindsay Graham, Liz Cheney and even Mitch McConnell have been all but ostracized. MAGA!
  2. What are the rubes going to do in 2024 when Trump fails even more spectacularly? Storm the White House? Stone, Flynn, Eastman, Giuliani, Powell, Chesebro and of course Trump are going to be the next Nixon, Haldeman, Erlichman, Dean, Mitchell, Hunt, and Liddy. Completely disgraced pariah’s. I just hope they televise all of the trials.
  3. Actually, now that Trump is a criminal defendant in a Federal case, he is subject to the court’s orders until after the trial (or if he pleads out). If the court determines that his “free speech” constitutes witness intimidation, or if he violates any of the other orders that he agreed to during his arraignment, then he can be punished by the judge by being held in contempt. Different ball game now that he’s an ordinary citizen. He is not going to be afforded any extra protections just because he is “running.”
  4. Oh really? What a laughable statement. How was the country “torn apart” exactly? The Mueller investigation certainly proved a few things - that Russia did interfere in the 2016 election, that the Trump campaign welcomed that interference, and that Trump was willing to obstruct justice in the matter on no less than ten occasions to protect his MAGA brand. Those are facts, and just because Mueller couldn’t prove collusion doesn’t mean it didn’t happen (and I am not suggesting that it did). But when you have scumbags like Roger Stone using Wikileaks to disseminate DNC and Clinton’s personal emails, and Paul Manafort and Rudy Giuliani consorting with Russian intelligence agents, it certainly doesn’t look good. And before you bring up the Steele dossier, that was Republican opposition research on Trump started by his Republican rivals. The Clinton campaign picked it up once Trump’s rivals were gone. It wasn’t leaked by anyone involved in Clinton’s campaign, and the Republicans in Congress used their subpoena power to try to bankrupt the company that funded it, GPS Fusion. The Durham report was one of the biggest failures in the history of Federal law enforcement. It amounted to one plea deal over an e-mail address on a FISA application (no jail time - probation) and two acquittals. The people who were convicted under Trump? Oh, he pardoned them.
  5. Well, you have to realize all that they’ve been through. Covid was a gain-of-function bio-weapon virus created by Anthony Fauci himself, and the subsequent military operation perpetrated by China was aimed at ruining Trump’s presidency. The Democrats’ response to deaths by covid was a “lock-down” strategy to tank the stock market and further ruin Trunp’s presidency - in addition to opening up the evil and twisted mail-in voting schemes that were rife with fraud. And despite Trump’s help with developing covid vaccines, they are actually poisonous and have microchips in them controlled by Bill Gates; and forcing health care workers and other professionals to get jabbed is un-American and an infringement upon our freedoms. Trump’s impeachment over the Ukraine business was also a hoax, Alexander Vindman is a traitor, and Trump’s call to Zelenskyy was perfect that day. And come on, there is no possible way that Joe Biden got more votes than Obama did in 2012 by running from his basement. Trump has thousands of patriots at his rallies and Joe can’t even fill a small parking lot! The election was rigged. Mike Lindell proved it. I think. Or maybe the Cyber Ninjas did. I forgot. Anyway, Mike Pence is a traitor for not “sending the electors back to the states” and the whole January 6th fiasco was started by ANTIFA and undercover FBI plants like Ray Epps to further embarrass Trump. And Nancy Pelosi was also completely responsible for not calling in the National Guard that day anyway, and the police LET PEOPLE INTO THE CAPITOL who then were arrested by the corrupt Merrick Garland. Now the weaponized Biden DOJ is persecuting Trump so he can’t run in 2024. If I was MAGA and was duped into believing all of that, I’d be upset too!
  6. “THERE IS NO WAY I CAN GET A FAIR TRIAL WITH THE JUDGE ‘ASSIGNED’ TO THE RIDICULOUS FREEDOM OF SPEECH/FAIR ELECTIONS CASE. EVERYBODY KNOWS THIS, AND SO DOES SHE! WE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR RECUSAL OF THIS JUDGE ON VERY POWERFUL GROUNDS, AND LIKEWISE FOR VENUE CHANGE, OUT IF D.C.” Well, good luck with that. After judge Chutkan denies your lame motion to recuse herself, your dream team of lawyers will have to convince the DC Court of Appeals to overturn decades of SCOTUS precedent, including this ruling from Irwin vs. Dowd, 1961: “To hold that the mere existence of any preconceived notion as to the guilt or innocence of an accused, without more, is sufficient to rebut the presumption of a prospective juror's impartiality would be to establish an impossible standard. It is sufficient if the juror can lay aside his impression or opinion and render a verdict based on the evidence presented in court.“
  7. This bloated waste of oxygen couldn’t run 100 yards but wants to criticize athletes…
  8. WE WILL BE IMMEDIATELY ASKING FOR RECUSAL OF THIS JUDGE ON VERY POWERFUL GROUNDS AND LIKEWISE FOR VENUE CHANGE Good luck fat boy!
  9. You might be right on the first point. SCOTUS? Laughable. No one is stopping him from running. Trump himself said he’d run from jail if he has to. As for “election interference,” that is the main Trump complaint that you are parroting, straight from Truth Social. Prosecutors and courts don’t give a f—k about a defendant’s personal ambitions, or how how cases might interfere with their “schedule.” Obviously you don’t know any attorneys or how they operate. They do the work at hand without fear or favor. Jack Smith does not care about politics and neither does the judge in this case.
  10. That’s an oversimplification - Trump’s lies (and Jack Smith has to prove that Trump knew he was lying) are part of the evidence to prove intent of violating the criminal statutes he’s being charged with. These are Federal laws, and there’s a reason that they‘re on the books - to prevent scumbags like Trump, Giuliani, Powell, and Trump’s entire stable of cronies to not f—k with our elections. The government is alleging Trump did. I expect similar indictments for co-conspirators 1-5 in the future.
  11. What you need to understand is the difference between “politics” and “laws.” Politics is dozens of Republican lawmakers objecting to the certification of votes on 1/6/2021. Procedurally they were absolutely within their Constitutional rights to debate and challenge the electoral votes. Many did, it failed, and Biden was certified. None of that is being litigated by Jack Smith, and no Republican Congressman or Congresswoman is being charged with any crimes to that end. You are conflating Congressional procedures with Trump’ contesting the election results - which he also has the right to do - until the point that he is breaking laws - such as: —Attempting to lean on state officials to subvert their respective states’ votes. —Scheming to organize fraudulent slates of electors. —Attempting to recruit the DOJ to conduct sham investigations of voter fraud. —Trying to convince Mike Pence to obstruct the electoral vote certification. —Attempting to exploit the violence of the 1/6 attack on the Capitol to disrupt and delay the certification. When you do all of these things, after repeatedly being told by state and Federal judges, DOJ officials, FBI Director, Director of Cybersecurity, Attorney General, Vice President, and others that there is no evidence to support your claims, then your actions become illegal because you are knowingly and willfully obstructing the electoral process. The crime is not lying or “believing” the election was stolen, or whatever you want to say or tweet publicly - even if your lawyers agree with you. The crime is spreading the lies with the intent to prevent the lawful functioning of the electoral certification process. The crime is the unlawful intention.
  12. That’s just one of the evidentiary materials in furtherance of the conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and conspiracy against rights charges. Doesn’t matter if it didn’t “work.” Read up on the laws - they are: 18 U.S.C. § 1512(c), 18 U.S.C. § 1512(k), 18 U.S.C. § 371, 18 U.S.C. § 241.
  13. This is the type of argument he’s trying to make. You go to Best Buy and try to buy a new TV. At the cashier, you ask, “do you accept personal checks?” They say yes. You pull out a copy of one of your checks from your wallet and say, “well look, I have this copy of one of my checks - it’s not real, and your bank won’t accept it, but I promise you I’ll bring a real check when my finances are in order.” Presumably the cashier would then tell you “no, that’s not gonna work.” They would also probably call the manager and have you thrown out of the store. So, replace “check” with “state elector certification” and that’s what he thinks Trump and his team were perfectly within their rights to do in front of Congress on 1/6/2021. When you try to pull this kind of stunt during a government proceeding? It’s a crime.
  14. You sound like Otter in Animal House. You’re just blowing smoke. You either haven’t read the indictment or you don’t understand it. I will trust Jack Smith and his team of career prosecutors over whatever you think you’re trying to say that will exonerate Trump.
  15. Did anyone in Congress or Obama’s administration conspire to commit a crime, or illegally obstruct those proceedings in any way? No, I didn’t think so. None of what you are saying has any relevance to the 2020 election certification.
  16. You should follow this up with some harebrained false equivalency regarding Trump’s criminal indictment in D.C.
  17. What in god’s holy name are you blathering about? The Senate passed the ACA 60-39 on 12/24/2009. The House passed the same bill 219-212 on 3//21!2010. Obama signed the bill into law 3/23/2010.
  18. Supporters of Trump are still in outrage mode - “this is just.a weaponization of the DOJ to stop him from running,” etc. etc. etc. The rest of the country has moved on to the accountability phase. After he fails to win the Presidency in 2024, Trump’s humiliation phase will kick in, where he is tied up in the courts and drained financially for several years. After (and during) that, the downfall will come - his donations will dry up, his wife and family will ostracize him, any remaining supporters in Congress will wash their hands of him, and he will be completely outcast from any semblance of decent American society. He will become such a pariah that he will probably have to flee to Russia. The indictments this year are just an early chapter in the book of Trump’s overall disgrace, and his affairs are going to spiral downward in stunning fashion.
  19. “Educational successes” - absolutely hilarious when you look at the lowest rated states for public education (AZ, LA, NV, NM, AL, SC, OK, NC, FL, TN). Contrast that with the best states (NJ, NH, CT, VT, MA, NY, ME, CO, PA, VA) - see a pattern here with regard to recent general election results? Florida is leading the charge in denigrating LBGTQ awareness, banning books, and the most recent and appalling development of plans to teach that enslaved people *benefited* from slavery. Pathetic.
  20. I also don’t recall Pelosi or anyone else conspiring to falsify the Senators’ SCOTUS confirmation votes. And for the record, hundreds of people were arrested during those hearings for unlawfully protesting.
  21. DeSantis - it’s hard to overstate how pathetic a prospective nominee has become to publicly say that he’d pardon his chief rival for crimes not even adjudicated yet - just to siphon off said rival‘s MAGA vote.
  22. Clearly you don’t understand the concept of an independent counsel. Trunp brought all of this down on himself by conspiring with others to commit crimes and obstruction. There aren’t any people with a (D) next to their name involved in any of these court cases.
  23. Why is all of this so hard for you to understand? Just being IN the Capitol during a government proceeding without authorization is a crime. It doesn’t matter if a Capitol police officer invites you in because he’s afraid of getting stomped by a larger, incoming mob, or any other reason. They had no legal right to be inside - period. Try to educate yourself about why hundreds of people were arrested because of their actions on 1/6 - and don’t forget their ringleader - Trump.
  24. “Exonerated?” Chansley was sentenced to 41 months in prison - and he served that time. The “video” you reference was laughed out of court by the judge when Chansley tried to withdraw his guilty plea: “These videos are decidedly not exculpatory. Such footage, conveniently omitted by the [Fox News] program, shows nearly all of Mr. Chansley’s actions that day, including: carrying a six-foot-long pole armed with a spearhead, unlawfully entering the Capitol through a broken door, disobeying orders from law enforcement on more than a half-dozen occasions, screaming obscenities, entering the Senate chamber, climbing onto the Senate dais, sitting in the Vice President’s chair, and leaving a threatening message for the Vice President. That law enforcement officers outnumbered by the quantity of rioters did not physically engage Mr. Chansley or impede his progress is irrelevant.”
  25. I think Albert Watkins, the lawyer for Jacob Chansley (the “QAnon Shaman”) said it best: “…these defendants—and I’m going to use this colloquial term, perhaps disrespectfully—but they’re all f—king short-bus people. These are people with brain damage, they’re f—king ######ed, they’re on the g-d—n spectrum.”
