  1. Troupe pick is turning into a disaster. A 2nd round 300+ pounder that can't stay on the field and has shown nothing when he does. Because there was no faith in him we had to use a 1st round the very next season for the same position, passing on badly needed help at WR (green) or in the secondary (Peterson)

We drafted Troup as a NT and Dareus as a DE.

Drafted dareus as an interior DT/NT indicating they were unsure if troupe would grow into it. Pretty simple

Dude, they said right after drafting him that he would be a DE. Please don't ask for a link, look it up yourself if you really need a link to satisfy you. Nevermind, here is a link(see 4th paragragh) http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Bills-sign-top-pick-Dareus-Searcy-and-RB-White/33c49335-3296-4b95-837c-9898d58eee1e

  2. A lot of Bills fans love you as long as you never screw up on the field or off the field or ask for a competitive salary - Clements, Henry, McGahee, Peters, Lynch, Maybin or even good guys like Fletcher, Walker or now Evans, Bills fans are ready to dump players at a moments notice even when they have no NFL level replacement, even when it will obviously hurt the team- and the worse/funniest thing is that they are like psycho ex-girlfriends who get pissed if the player is doing well and enjoying themselves elsewhere.

And alot of them don't act this way. What's the point?

So Lynch in his first 3 games this year with the awesome QB play of Trent Edwards and two vital O-lineman coming back from injury unable to participate in any OTAs or training camp that had 1 week of practice before the season started (per Eric Woods himself in a video circulating about him) didn't put up great numbers? WOW, he must suck cut him immediately and ban him from the NFL.

Phew...sorry about the run on sentence. lol.

No argument on the TD production I see? Yards per carry and other BS is for pure stat geeks. TDs win games. In combination both guys were good for Buffalo and if fans didn't drive him out of town by creating a hostile environment we wouldn't have had to use the 2010 #9 overall pick on a specialty RB. We could have gotten an O-line guy to make both RBs look even better.

    Keep hating though.

Bills fans need to read the "sour grapes" fable. It would do the city a world of good. It is amazing how we can want something so bad, support a player and then turn on him like a pack of wild dogs when they want to get paid or make a mistake off the field.

"WOW, he must suck cut him immediately and ban him from the NFL." No, just trade him like we did. Geez!

  3. Obviously, after months of film study of the previous season and watching closely in the off-season, camp and the preseason, Chan concluded that Trent Edwards and Marshawn Lynch were going to lead his offense to repectablity.

No, he waited 'till live bullets were flying and found out for himself what these guys might be able to do in his offense. Trent had us fooled in the beginning too when we blew out Seattle(I think) a few yrs ago, then a concussion later he is Trent Checkdown. Chan just took over a bad team and had to weed out the crap on his own.

  4. That could be something to ponder, how about since it is Ralph Wilson Stadium now, they just have several people with big ears steal your money right out of your pocket. As far as selling the naming rights to the Field House, nobody can be surprised, Ralph would sell his own family for a few bucks.

He is running a business, isn't he? What's the problem with making money? I don't get the resentment when Ralph cooks up an idea to make money( the Toronto series included). He could have moved the team plenty of times but kept them here. But he is still RUNNING A BUSINESS. And people open busineses to make money. I never knew Ralph ran a non-profit in the Bills. Get a grip.

  5. O.J was considered the best player at any position during his prime. Thurman wasn't even considerd the best running back in the league during his prime, always in the shadow of Barry Sanders and Emmitt Smith. Not to take anything away from Thurman, as he was a big part of the team's success of course, but if O.J. was on the Bills in the early 90's the offense would have been impossible to defend and there is no question in my mind they would have won at least one Super Bowl, and probably more.

I know this wasn't the topic, but Thurman was WAY better than Emmitt. Put Thurman on those Dallas teams and that oline and wow! My understanding is that Barry sat the bench behind Thurman 'till Thurman hurt his knee.

  6. Ralphie and Mike Brown of the Bengals stand alone as the NFL's Cheapies, head and shoulders above anyone else. But in their favor though, they were the only two owners that voted against the CBA that expired, of which a few years later just about every owner agreed that it wasn't a good agreement for them and opted to take the out clause on it. I guess the moral of the story is, if you want to make money take advice from the cheapest people on the block, since that is what they are all about.

Cheapest on the block? Try taking advise from business savy people(as you said they voted against this cba) What they are really about is running a profitable business, like any other business owner.Cheez!

    Ralph is cheap.

No, your tickets are cheap. You don't want Ralph to pony up like the rest of the owners. If he does, ticket prices will go up and then Ralph would be bad mouthed for being greedy. I know it's warmer up there but go shovel snow! Cheez!

  7. If there is some $$$ to stuff in Ralphie's wallet, he won't let Nix say no. Besides, maybe if they accepted, someone outside of Bills fans would remember this team exists, maybe they could use the attention?

You DO realize this is a business he is running, right?!?! Geez! The object of a business is to turn a profit. As cheap as tickets are in Buff, I wouldn't blame him for taking the money.

  8. The guy IMHO is not built for NT hence the drafting of our 7th round pick Jasper the guy was 440 lbs in college & the Bills scout got him focused on his diet now he's down to a slim 370 lbs & from what i've read has legs like tree trunks .

This is our NT of the future i just hope they invest more time in him at the postion than Troupe , nothing against the guy maybe a good depth player for D or ST but this kid is the real deal at NT .

Do some research & find out more about him you'll be very surprised & pleased that he was drafted by the Bills !!!!

More time on Jasper?!? Really?!?! That makes no sense.

I hope they spend as much time on one as the other. We are building a team, hopefully a complete team. If reports are correct and Troupe is working hard, why discourage him by treating him like a stepchild and favoring the "new" 7rd rookie with special treatment. If anything, I hope Troupe will take Jasper under his wing and mentor him.

  9. I just read his name in another thread and remembered how disappointed I was when he retired last year. I know he was interested in politics and that was part of the reason he retired.... Anyone hear anything about him? Its really to bad, I thought he was just about to turn the corner for us.

Ever since this POS pulled some BS with a cheap shot at M. Kiwanuka(sp), I waited for karma to catch up. Here's hoping he has extreme pain and arthritis in his knee. POS!!!!

    take a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvc3N1BXsjQ

  10. It's conceivable that Luck could fall to us at #3. Carolina has a ton of money in Clausen and a host of other needs. Denver won't spend another #1 on a QB with Tebow. Then Luck falls to us at #3. If that happens, you know Nix will get a lot of phone calls.

Nope! Denver will trade down if they don't want him. I would trade Tebow for a couple of picks and take Luck if Carolina doesn't.

  11.

So, how can they get the #2 pick? As I look at the standings, they have the same record as Cincy. Since they beat the Bengals, that would mean Cincy's in the 2 slot and the Bills are #3. No other result from today should matter.

Its not head to head that is used, its strength of schedule first

  12. fitz was out....who cares!!!! Jets beat the piss out of us with a 2nd and 3rd string QB and with a 3rd string RB and not to mention some of the jets OL didn't play!

what's the excuse when the jets didn't even have revis or cromartie? We played against 2nd rate CB's too...

just too many excuses for this team and tired of it! Just shows our depth on the Bills is clearly not as good as our divisional opponents.

The excuse for the offense is that even though they had no crom and revis, we had THREE receivers, THREE! A 7th rd pick and fa's. PLUS a 7th rd ROOK at qb, WTF did you expect!?!?

  13. you do realize we had a 7th round qb, and no receivers due to injury. Lets see a 7th rd pick in johnson and 2 free agents, lighten up already. The most we could put out on the field at any one time was 3 receivers, THREE! And none higher than a 7th rounder, RELAX, we got the loss everyone wanted.
