  1. You beat me to it. He's got the best hand on the team.
  2. So, cuz most of you "experts" agree he's a bust makes him one? I'm an expert too, and I think he's worth the pick. Nobody knew Fred would blow up like he did and most of us "experts" wanted Lynch and his antics gone. Hindsight makes you an expert, huh?!
  3. Yes, it is a coincidence. In 07 the Ravens were 5-11. They lost 3-4 OL that season and you could see the difference. Our offense was clicking when the OL was healthy, and thats without a deap threat. By next season we'll have better depth on the OL. Thats where it starts.
  4. Yea, 'cuz Rome was built in a day. I'm sorry, how would you have done things any different?
  5. Would it help if I said 1st SEASON instead of yr?!?!? I think you get the point. If not the read my post again, but SLOOOWWWLYYY this time. Don't hurt yourself though! If you read it, you will see I didn't mean 365 DAYS. Geez!! Point being, oh never mind! Waste of time. Happy Holidays!!!
  6. If you're asking if I realize what I'm implying when I say things like this? The answer is yes, I realize what I'm implying! To your next question: A throw away season?!?! What were they supposed to do with the roster they inherited in their 1st season?!?! Pretty simple. Play them and see what you have. They did it with Trent and the rest of the roster. I am missing the irony. The staff didn't say there was 3-4 talent on this team, they said they were building a 3-4 D. They are starting over. We knew this coming in( at least I did). The 4-3 Tampa D was terrible and soft when the new staff took over. We are a yr and 1/2 into the process guys.
  7. I saw the play. That Oline sure blew open some huge holes!!
  8. With the shape our oline is in, with no speed or much talent at WR to stretch the field and you want to base this off of 1 game?!?!? Are you serious or just bored? Don't forget he lost reps in practice when he was learning to play receiver due to injuries. If you're going to judge him, make sure you take into account the play of the oline and not just stats.I think I'm taking a break from the Stadium wall for a while. maybe 'till draft time.
  9. I think the biggest problem is fans who forget that we are in yr 2 of a total rebuild. In the middle of yr 2, so no it hasn't been 2 yrs yet just a yr and 1/2 and the 1st yr was an evaluation year for this staff. This was a pretty bad team they took over. We are better than last yr and have better talent. That tells you something. We are pretty thin as far as talent, so losing the players we have lost to IR really hurts. Our Oline is a mess due to injury, but was playing really well when healthy. We led the league in creating turnovers when the D was healthy, but we've lost K. Williams,Merriman and Kelsay for a while. Before you say Merriman was a shell of himself and Kelsay sucks, the proof is in the pudding. With them in the lineup we got alot of turnovers. We are going to be fine next season, and for the next few years with Chan and yes with Nix. He helped build the Chargers into a pretty good team over the last 6-7 yrs. They didn't win ths SB, but I would take the Chargers record over the last decade over ours and Nix had alot to do with it. I understand the frustration, but if you think about it, it's not Nix's fault. This was a mess of a team when thay took over.
  10. Could it be that weeks 1-6 our oline was healthy and weeks 6-10 the line has been a mess? These receivers didn't forget how to play like they were weeks 1-6. Our line has been a mess and it shows in how the offense has bogged down. IMO
  11. I hope you all enjoy the Holidays and hope that everyone stays safe during this time of celebration. P.S. It wouldn't hurt to include the Bills during your prayers and blessing of the food.
  12. I really think Jim Kelly has a group ready to buy once Ralph passes. Once the team is bought, expect ticket prices to go up. They have to pay a huge tax/interest bill on the loan(or portion of a loan)to purchase the team. that is the advantage Ralph has that the new owner doesn't. Ralph can keep ticket prices down because he has no debt/interest payment on this team.
  13. Sounds like you are saying what I did, just worded differently. So, I'm thankful they are still in Buff. Great or not.
  14. NO, I said you are clowns if you get mad at Ralph for running HIS business the way he wants(which is to be profitable).Like you said he would have sold a long time ago if not profitable. My point was emotions are getting in the way of why you think he owns the Bills. He owns them to make money, as does EVERY other owner in the NFL. He could moved and not made as much money unless the stadium was subsidised, but why do that. Without Ralph we don't have the Bills to B word about. As for finding a new team to root for, that's gonna be hard since they are all in it for the money. You would be bitching about the same thing, just a different owner(s). As for Ralph and making tons of money: The thing that gets me is that some CLOWNS act like they know him personally and they KNOW for a fact that he doesn't care!!! Not true!! Maybe I've been around long enough to know he cares(IMO). Those SB teams we had weren't cheap, neither was the team around 2000. The main point I was trying to make is some people get too personal with the Bills. The origional post asks why Ralph won't sell the team. Ralph is one of the founding Fathers of the AFL NFL merger. If memory serves, Ralph lent a team money to stay afloat before the merger(can't remember which team, Raiders?). Ralph started the Bills from the ground up. It's his team/business and you have the nerve to ask him to sell. He could have moved or sold the team, but this team is profitable because he owns the Bills outright(no big interest payments like a team would pay if they bought us). Sounds like a great businessman to me. And you are mad about that?!?
  15. So what if he saves money, it's his business to run. Rumors of him being an ass?!?!? Really?!?!? You take this stuff too personal. Get a life!!! Hey Yousuck, Yes, it's his, his, his and you're right, you can't have it...!!! And yes he wants to make as much as he can before he dies!! Don't like it? Get a life. You guys are clowns if you get mad at Ralph for running his business the way he wants.Sounds like the guy is making a ton of cash(thats the goal of any company). Free enterprise, you can always root for aonther team.
  16. I watched the Balt. game and I'm glad Lee is gone. He was thrown to once that I saw. Guess what?He ran straight upfield(not really any cuts or semblence of a route) and didin't fight for position or the ball. He wouldn't help us right now.Glad he's gone. Hangman is a different story, but if we all could live off of hindsight any of us could do that job.
  17. No, the jets beat us as a team. Along with help from the refs. By the way, Sanchez beating us doesn't make him great. So I'm confused. What are you saying?
  18. If Jones catches it then Chan called a great play. Hey, the the players have to execute when given ths chance. Maybe Jones should wear those gloves that everyone is wearing. Like flypaper, anything sticks to them.
  19. I don't think Revis believes in garbage time. He wants to shut you down.
  20. "head coach lost interest in game planning" Really?!?!? Really?!?!? I normally don't name call, but you are an idiot!!! I think I'll skip over and not read anything 1billsfan has to say anymore. One question though: Really?!?!?
  21. Thanks, you stole my thunder. Easy, read my intro. Just my opinion, but I thought it made sense. We have 2-3 guys playing out of position due to injury/necessity who need to play the position they were brought in to play. Carringon and Spencer were brought in to play dline. Once they can go back to their positions(after FA and draft picks) they will play better. When a RB goes wide on these 2 guys they are toast. I don't expect either of these guys to be able stay with a RB cutting wide or juking them. They are not LB's. They are playing out of position. Sooooo, I think our priority on D is more OLB's vs Dline. Look, if we stumble on to a draft pick at d-end that we can't pass up, cool take him. But DE/DL is NOT a priority.
  22. I think we should leave it as is for next season. It's a pretty good group, collectively. With KW coming back and more help at OLB, we can leave the dline alone and concentrate on other ,more pressing needs in FA and the draft. If we can shore up the OLB spots and a corner, this Dline will flourish. It doesn't help that Spencer and Carrington are playing OLB out of necessity. They belong on the Dline. Even Spencer will play well if playing the position he really should play. This is yr 2 of a 3-4 yr rebuild. By keeping a good to really good line intact, we can help the rest of the roster alot. Marcell,Kyle,Dwan make a pretty good Dline with Heard, Johnson, Carringon as backups or start Carrington and use Dwan as a backup. That's a good line that is deep too. What do you guys think? Forgot about Troup too.
