The thing is.. call that tripping penalty. Don’t call the intentional grounding.  3 pts almost assured.

call the facemask on Davis in the endzone.. ball on the 1. TD far more likely than a FG.

Thats 7 extra points and the difference in the game.  And that’s not counting all the other holds not called and any of the other plays that may have happened had they not cut Bills drives short.

    The league screwed us ..again.

    They screw themselves.

They went toe to toe away with a hot Bengals team away. It’s not a tragic outcome 5-4 one game behind in the division. It’s not a tragic outcome but very frustrating as had Kincaid not fumbled they would have changed the complexion of the game had they scored.

No, that was a blowout on the field minus the scoreboard. Just like the Bills over the Buccaneers. Never ONCE did it seem like the Bills would win that game. They’re 5-4 and have the toughest schedule in the NFL remaining. The season outlook does look tragic, definitely not good.

What can McDermott and Dorsey say they are better than 95% of other coaches? What is their specialty? What advantage do we gain over other teams with their presence?

I'm going to bet that everyone reading this post will come up empty with any kind of answer. I know the two of them are fine coaches. But they are not Super Bowl caliber.

He hung up a banner though?

miller shouldnt have been out there at the end

He’s likely toast. Burrow knew he could only press up the field and gladly took off to run for a first down once Miller went straight up the field like he has since he’s come back. It’s a straight run, no cutting, no power, nothing.

Tre appears to have lost a step.  He is always a step behind the defenders.

He was fine yesterday. Made a great play down the field on what would’ve been a big pass play, he got his hand between the receiver’s hands

    and knocked the ball away.

I agree with a healthy Bills team has a great path to the Super Bowl. However, Hdye is already out for the year and who knows about Von and others. Also, I'm not convinced Allen isn't hurt. Will he get healthy?

Not trying to be a dick. But let’s take a step back here. All teams are injured by now.

    I think Allen will, yes.

Most of their injuries are returning (even Hyde is a potential).

Come on Turk, surely you are more intelligent than that. Those numbers don't tell an accurate picture of the game. The Bills offense was out of sync for much of the game and Allen was often not sharp throwing the ball. The Bills offense should have dominated the Lions defense! This offense is simply making mistakes, out of sync, and the oline can't protect Allen.

The defense struggled to stop the Lions offense. That was no surprise to me due to their offense and the Bills injuries.

Any Bills fans is happy with the win but should absolutely be concerned at what they are seeing. It's anything but Super Bowl like. Just the facts...

    Just the facts:

    1. Back up players, playing. They typically don’t play, few reps throughout the season.

    2. They’ve barely practiced the last two games.

All of the above equates to not pumping on all cylinders. If you take a step back, it’s not as concerning to the level you’re making it out to be.

I think you are missing the point. In fact, you make my point even stronger. The Bills played a mediocre Lions team who were hurt on both sides of the ball. The Bills weren't able to control the game and in fact struggled on both sides of the ball. The Bills were very fortunate to win today. Point being with all the Bills injuries they are not a great team. Not a team who can make a run to the Super Bowl. Anyone thinking the Bills can is out of touch with reality.

They’re a team surviving due to the injuries. Really, a trait of a great team. Get to the playoffs with a healthy team and they are capable of going to the Super Bowl.

    SUW...

After a defense commits a 15 yard penalty on a touchdown or FG it moves the kickoff from the 35 to the 50. At this point you're guaranteed to kick it out of the end zone.

Why do teams never consider kicking an onside at this point? Field position would be at the 40 for the opposing team should they recover. A team with a good defense shouldn't fret over this, and the 15 yard difference on a touchback (25 yard line).

It would not be ideal in every game situation but if you are down 7-10 points against a poor offense it could make sense. So, should teams do it?

Hopefully you’re not down 7-10 points against a poor offense. Just scoring a touchdown, you should have momentum. I don’t see the need in giving it right back to the other team, should they get a first down or two. Onside kicks are so difficult to win. I’d only do it in desperation time, not with plenty of time on the clock.

I'd love us to do it without him. The guy's a prick and the Bills roster is full of good guys.

I don’t know. At times the current roster seems to get the yips (worried about making the play, mental toughness), I don’t see it as a bad thing bringing in a guy that doesn’t lack confidence and just wants the ball. We’re lacking WR depth, I hope they sign him.
