If they don't play better than they did down the stretch last year, I'm not sure this projection is that far off.

that was easily a very calculated soft landing firing. Seriously.

When your defensive play calling lets a team march down the field unabated in 13 seconds, I was surprised he was around in september of 2022.

Having spent my whole life knwing only Rich Stadium as the home of the Bills, this seems kinda sad to me. I know the place was old, but there wasn't a bad seat in the joint, and other than the lack of restrooms, it was by far the easiest stadium to get around in. You could get in from any gate, that can't be said at many of these new stadiums. Ohh well, at least that keeps the team in Buffalo till I'm dead...

I was told by Brandon Beane that Ed Oliver does great things that don’t show up on the stat sheet
Or on the field.

Can we win a championship first? Any nicknames applied to a losing team just seem dumb to me.

Considering how young he is, there really is no telling what he can do the farther removed he is from that injury.

There are too many head scratchers to list, but here are my top 3.
1. Aaron Maybin
2. 'lil Donte Whiffner
3. E J Manuel
We all know Whiffner was an average player, but 1 and 3 on my list were guys that wouldn't have been drafted by any team on this continent.

Didn't we cover this with Mac Jones last year?

I don’t see it. Nothing in McDermotts past leads me to believe he’ll push to draft a linebacker who can’t tackle, not good in coverage
Have you not seen Edmunds?

It's one thing to be happy the team is trying to upgrade a few players you didn't see as the solution for this team in their positions. I'm all for that. I can see where the Bills view Harty as a higher ceiling guy and Sherfield as bringing a different skillset, so move on from McKenzie and give them a try.
It's another thing to ***** on departing players who went hard here "missing when it mattered most" "too many gaffs at big moments", apparently having amnesia about the times they came through when it mattered. That's scapegoating, if you want to go there, Go There but don't expect a pass for it.
If you want to scrutinize facts, go there, but that's not scapegoating, regardless of how hard you try to sell it.

I don't want this to happen, but it's low hanging fruit to predict that you and those like you will celebrate McKenzie's departure only for so long as it takes the new "upgrade" guys Harty and Sherfield to make a gaff in a game or two.
This board seems to like to choose "escape goats" where folks dwell on every mistake and discount every good play, while other players seemingly have their mistakes overlooked or forgotten.
If I were blaming losses and the lack of superbowls on them, then I could agree I was using them as scapegoats. It's another thing entirely to be happy the team is trying to upgrade a few players I liked, but did not see them as the solution for this team in their positions. Maybe we slow down on people who share my viewpoint a little.

Nice guy, glad he's gone. Too many gaffs when it mattered most in games for me. Same with Singletary. Great guy, even better team player, but missing when it counted most, and fumble prone.

My comparison is pretty straightforward. Josh is less consistent, but more spectacular.
How would you compare the two?Brady - 7 superbowls

I wanted Frazier gone after the 13 second humiliation 1 year prior. there wasn't a single game that my mind was changed. the cincy game felt like an entire 60 minutes of that 13 second drive.
Zone coverage! every guy was open with not a defnder near them within 7 yards! What a joke. If he's not gone, expect this team to go no further next year.

Love you guys.
PSA: this is NOT a "nobody can criticize the organization" thread. It's a "you're all ridiculous" thread.
See ya in a couple of months. Go Bills.
Me at 1/22/23, 2:59 p.m. :: This team is going to get buried by cincinatti.
Me at 1/22/23, 5:45 p.m. :: I quit watching after the 1st quarter, how bad did they get the F##K beat out of them? Ohh... they scored 10... more than I thought they'd score.
In case anyone is wondering, I was in Cincinatti when Hamlin went down, and aside from all the love and prayers I sent him since then, the untold truth was they were going to get the same beatdown that night, and it was plain as day. I quietly said to my circle of friends a month or so earlier that this team was as good as done after the KC win. That was their superbowl, and they never looked as dominant, or even as prepared after that game. That's not to say I didn't WANT them to win, I hoped Josh could bounce back and carry the team. There's no doubt in my mind he was flat out of gas.

I was at the game and I personally don't care. If I do get a refund, I'm going to immediately donate that money to Damar's charity, and anything T. Higgins may have available. When you see someone essentially drop dead in front of you for a few minutes, it really made me not care about the money spent. I don't want anyone who would like a refund to feel shamed, just wanted to share my feelings.

For those criticising the lion logo, it's the 1960's era logo, the stripes and everything. I like it, I think it's as cool as the standing Buffalo.
