  1. Having spent my whole life knwing only Rich Stadium as the home of the Bills, this seems kinda sad to me.  I know the place was old, but there wasn't a bad seat in the joint, and other than the lack of restrooms, it was by far the easiest stadium to get around in.  You could get in from any gate, that can't be said at many of these new stadiums.  Ohh well, at least that keeps the team in Buffalo till I'm dead...

    Nah.

It's one thing to be happy the team is trying to upgrade a few players you didn't see as the solution for this team in their positions.  I'm all for that.  I can see where the Bills view Harty as a higher ceiling guy and Sherfield as bringing a different skillset, so move on from McKenzie and give them a try.

It's another thing to ***** on departing players who went hard here "missing when it mattered most" "too many gaffs at big moments", apparently having amnesia about the times they came through when it mattered.  That's scapegoating, if you want to go there, Go There but don't expect a pass for it.

If you want to scrutinize facts, go there, but that's not scapegoating, regardless of how hard you try to sell it.

I don't want this to happen, but it's low hanging fruit to predict that you and those like you will celebrate McKenzie's departure only for so long as it takes the new "upgrade" guys Harty and Sherfield to make a gaff in a game or two.

This board seems to like to choose "escape goats" where folks dwell on every mistake and discount every good play, while other players seemingly have their mistakes overlooked or forgotten.

If I were blaming losses and the lack of superbowls on them, then I could agree I was using them as scapegoats.  It's another thing entirely to be happy the team is trying to upgrade a few players I liked, but did not see them as the solution for this team in their positions.  Maybe we slow down on people who share my viewpoint a little.

    Love you guys.

PSA:  this is NOT a "nobody can criticize the organization" thread.  It's a "you're all ridiculous" thread.

See ya in a couple of months.  Go Bills.

Me at 1/22/23, 2:59 p.m. :: This team is going to get buried by cincinatti.

Me at 1/22/23, 5:45 p.m. :: I quit watching after the 1st quarter, how bad did they get the F##K beat out of them?  Ohh... they scored 10...  more than I thought they'd score.

In case anyone is wondering, I was in Cincinatti when Hamlin went down, and aside from all the love and prayers I sent him since then, the untold truth was they were going to get the same beatdown that night, and it was plain as day.  I quietly said to my circle of friends a month or so earlier that this team was as good as done after the KC win.  That was their superbowl, and they never looked as dominant, or even as prepared after that game.  That's not to say I didn't WANT them to win, I hoped Josh could bounce back and carry the team.  There's no doubt in my mind he was flat out of gas.

  5. I was at the game and I personally don't care.  If I do get a refund, I'm going to immediately donate that money to Damar's charity, and anything T. Higgins may have available.  When you see someone essentially drop dead in front of you for a few minutes, it really made me not care about the money spent.  I don't want anyone who would like a refund to feel shamed, just wanted to share my feelings.
