  1. Players testing positive shouldnt be surprising. Just a matter of how the league handles it.
  2. The Longs are absolute smokeshows.
  3. Allen looks like he wants to speak to a manager. Brady looks like he can suck a golf ball through a garden hose
  4. I probably shouldn't be this eroused. Also, Darnold and Allen are easily some of the ugliest. I probably still would though ?‍♂️
  5. I don’t decide which option is better and the only advice I will give is to not drink and drive in the first place. If you want to refuse because you think cops are corrupt liars then that's your choice and you'll have your day in court to fight whatever you're charged with. Regardless of whether you do SFST, you'll likey be asked to take a chemical back at the station. Refusal to take that and your license is suspended for a year.
  6. You can decline but it likely means you get arrested faster. If I’m pulling you out of the car to do field sobriety then I already have enough information to articulate why I think you’re driving intoxicated.
  7. There's nothing wrong with using your checkdowns especially when guys can be dangerous with the ball in space. It would probably be a benefit to our offense if Allen took some easy completions/yards.
  8. Unless you live in my jurisdiction where the DA literally pleas everything. I've been to court for a DUI arrest once. Doesn't matter if it's common law, aggravated, chemical test or no chemical test. Always gets plead down to DWAI which is beyond frustrating.
  9. Just throw the ball Lamar. It's a friendly game of football on the beach for crying out loud and this dude took off running like he's actually trying.
  10. Kevyn Adams has never been a GM and was working on the business side of things prior to this. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but Adams seems like a dumpster fire waiting to happen.
  11. Youre not allowed to do that
  12. Not literally kneeling but questioning BLM or even saying something that is not in direct support of BLM are being heavily scrutinized and peoplr are losing their jobs. https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2020/06/15/vermont-principal-placed-on-leave-over-facebook-post-on-blm/amp/ https://petapixel.com/2020/06/10/bh-removes-employee-over-anti-blm-tweets/ There are many more but you probably get the point.
  13. I feel like this guy's videos have been posted here before. He's an idiot who tries to be funny but isn't. Let's not give him the attention he seeks
  14. They almost have to kneel out of necessity at this point at the risk of a character assassination by the angry mob. We are seeing people lose their livelihoods over this. The cancel culture is real strong right now.
  15. Almost didn't bother to click on this thread expecting all political questions.
  16. I hate this liberal state. Just the other day Cuomo said that police should be holding looters and rioters in jail despite him making that literally impossible. It's all just a game of catch and release now.
  17. I respect Allen's right to have an opinion even though I think it's dumb.
  18. I don't care if he's friends with Diggs, the answer is no.
  19. I don't go out of my way to tell people they are being recorded but I also don't hide the fact if they ask. I've had a lot of instances where people pull out their phones to record me and I either inform them if they don't already know or remind them that I'm also recording. More often than not, the general public know I'm recording and the ones that try to record me are doing it just to instigate.
  20. There's nothing a good cop hates more than a bad cop. The overwhelming majority legitimately care and are only trying to do a good job. I'm also in favor of more and better training but you can't accomplish that if the goal is to defund or abolish police.
  21. Where did I say it was okay that they didn't intervene? I actually said the opposite.. My department requires we wear body cameras and it's our policy that we record every interaction. The batteries in them may not last all day though especially if they are always on and being used a lot. I'm not a defense attorney but I'm pretty sure they would have a big issue with the arrests of their clients being broadcast to the public. I'm just assuming you're not a cop and never had to wear a body camera. It's not uncommon that they get knocked off when someone fights with you. What happens then if the altercation is not clearly recorded? Do we just throw the case out? Do you understand how dangerous of a precedent you'd be setting? Personally, I don't have a problem wearing a body camera and I've had a lot of times where people stop acting a fool when they realize I'm recording. You want to rebuild the trust then work with police and try and find common ground. I don't see how vilifying every cop and treating us like crap is going to fix things.
  22. FWIW 2 of the officers involved were only on the job for 3 and 4 days respectively. They should have intervened but I understand why they didn't. Tough for a guy in his first week to tell his training officer of 19 years that he's doing something wrong. On an unrelated note, I once got a complaint from someone who was upset that I didn't give him a speeding ticket. It was a few weeks before Christmas so I figured I'd give the guy a break for going nearly 25 mph over the speed limit. Apparently I was wrong ? Like an offensive lineman if we want to keep things football related
