Who's ready for a 5 hour football game!? -
Underwhelming but that job was never going to be a desirable one.
-
Kincaid was supposed to be better this year and he wasn't. Coleman was exactly who he was in college and is why there are legitimate questions about the role he will have moving forward. Winning the occasional jump ball is not a sustainable model for success in this league, which by the way I feel like he wasn't even all that good at either.

Full List of Bills' Current Selections in 2025 NFL Draft

We don't have a 3rd round pick this year and will likely get an additional 2 5th round compensatory picks. -
Bills Hire Ryan Nielsen Senior Defensive Assistant.

Great mustache. Not so great DC. -
I only want a DT early only if he can get to the QB and create havoc in the backfield. I'm certainly not wasting an early round pick on a purely space eating fat guy. You can probably get one of those in FA. My focus would on guys who get to the QB, WR and CB.

Having a legit #1 WR can change the entire dynamic of a game. Currently, there isn't a single receiver on this team that gives defenses and DCs fits. DCs don't have to adjust their gameplan because they are scared of anyone going off and taking a game over. Additionally, the attention of a #1 WR helps other guys get open because of the way the coverage is. Shakir is a nice player but he is more of a complementary piece. He'd be even better if we had someone on the outside who could actually draw attention from the defense and get open downfield. That should be Beane's focal point this offseason imo.

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!

One name to keep an eye on is Tai Felton out of Maryland. Speed guy with good size and hands. Got peppered with targets and caught a lot of balls. Just the kind of guy this offense could use. -
The better team won. There's no need to change the structure of the playoffs because we lost.
-
And you still don't know that, correct?
-
No, I don't know that and neither do you. Bishop will certainly be given an opportunity to earn the role though.
-
Would you watch a "Consolation" Bowl?
Bangarang replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall
No thanks. -
No, it's the reality of how he was on the field. Bishop was not good and you thinking that he was is laughable. Maybe he improves but to blindly say he was good and should be a starter next year is objectively wrong and premature.
-
Bishop looked pretty good? He was terrible and a total liability out on the field.
-
I remember him having a few splash plays but not much else. Couldn't even tell you which games they were in though.

Spotrac has us at -2.5 but OverTheCap has us at -6.9. not sure why there is a discrepancy but either way it's still one of the worst cap situations in the league for next year.
-
I'm not 100% sure about Von's contract but it appears we're well over the cap currently and even if we cut him there's not a ton of breathing room.
-
How is the cap mostly fixed?
-
The cap is still a mess and he's whiffed on a lot of early round draft picks. His only saving grace is that he drafted Josh who covers up a lot of his short comings as a talent evaluator. This roster isn't very talented and it's hard to see how things get fixed unless he magically starts drafting immediate impact players.

Groot was a guy who didn't really win off of the edge in college. He's not particularly fast or twitchy. He's got elite length and is strong. He did a lot of his damage in college kicking inside which was not something he could realistically do all the time in the NFL. He's doing exactly what his skill set allows him to do.
-
People had unrealistic expectations for him. He was never going to be a sack monster that created havoc in the backfield. He's the kind of player that's good at playing the run and getting 6-8 sacks a year. He's a good player for sure but not someone I'd want to give big money to because I don't think we see the return on that investment.

What's his contract status going forward? Can we rid ourselves of this bum yet?
