  1. Tripped over campbell. UGH!!!!!! Incredible play but ugghhh!!!!!
  2. How about hitting a TE here and there? 461105[/snapback] well timed post as the ball bounces off nuefeld's shoulder pads. Great draw to shaud, though not exactly executed by the textbook. 1st down!
  3. I agree, plus we keep giving up yardage with penalties. Great grab by Moulds there
  4. The int was the result of a bad throw (seemed to float on him), a bad call and weak running by Moulds. Moulds does not seem to be the burner he once was.
  5. Int on deep Losman pass. overthrown to Moulds. Big return back to our 30. Crap
  6. looks like Anderson is getting a lot of the snaps on D, not seeing a lot of Edwards
  7. Schobel was clearly held on Brooks run for the first on 3rd allowing the play to happen. Unbelievable.
  8. not to mention that we have no starting NFL caliber tight ends on the roster. D just had a nice sack though.
  9. If fast freddy wants to be a real NFL receiver, he better go after passes like that with two hands and make a play. Saints have a strange D- they have a plethora of talented young ends, and everybody else is pretty average- their FS is good though too.
  10. Carr's reaction was priceless. Complete exasperation. Kinda felt sorry for him for a second.
  11. I actually thought Jerman played alright in the preseason. McFarland was by far the worse lineman. I'm surprised about Tucker, he's kind of a dirty player though, was hurt a lot, and committed a lot of penalties. They must think Geisinger is alright- he's certainly a lot bigger and stronger than Tucker, upside must have been a factor. Suprised they cut Gause, I thought he was one of the few bright spots yesterday, he'll probably be practice squaded with Eziekial and others.
  12. I agree completely. Duff's is way overrated. I'd take Anchor Bar's wings and atmosphere any day. Duff's serves chicken wing soup in giant greasy buckets, and the wings are nothing that special. Those live band nights at Anchor Bar are amazing- a giant plate of wings, a couple pitchers-- that's an experience.
  13. JP is more mobile and has a much stronger arm. I just don't see them as the same type of quarterback. Whether they have the same amount of success or not remains to be seen. I suppose they might be bringing a similar attitude, but right now it is way to early to talk at all about any of this stuff yet since its preseason.
  14. clearly in bounds. great play by Losman
  15. I just recall at the time it was at a moment where with a victory we could turn the season around, and an opponent that was tough but very beatable. I agree though, that second Jets game was very important and Easterbrook could have well included it in his selection of key games. Including the Jets game you can add one more touchdown pass. That would make it 11 to 2. Whoopdee do, though I think it was a sweet play to Evans, if I recall. But I also recall a bunch of bounce passes over the middle stalling drives.
  16. Those 4 games were the high pressure games against top competition. They are games that make or break seasons. His point, and he is completely correct, is that Bledsoe stunk the place out. The guy is a loser when it matters most and that's why he's not here anymore, thank God.
  17. The biggest problem I had with Sterling was his whole physical/mental mistake bs. At one point he felt that JP should have just stood in the pocket and gotten sacked by the blitzers rather than what he did, which was quickly and nimbly avoid the rushers. When have you ever seen a successful quarterback in the NFL just take a sack when they don't have to?
  18. I don't know. Spikes and Posey? Milloy and Vincent? Those are my two best guesses.
  19. We need a backup RT. Am I recalling correctly that Jerman plays both G and T? He will likely have a roster spot if that's the case. All our others seem to be exclusively Left Tackles, including the emergency Teague situation.
  20. They don't play on the same side. LT- Gandy, LG- Anderson, C- Teague, RG - Villarial, RT- Big Mike. Although Anderson did play RG for Baltimore and it could be within the realm of possibility that he and Villarial switch sides- that would be one HUGE right side of the line though- probably over 500 lbs.
  21. No way Denney is gone- he played very well last year coming in as relief, he's waaay better than Ritzman. I do agree Gause is intriguing, I think he makes it. Also Greer not being on the roster would be a complete shocker. It seems like you are accounting for a few too many "feel good stories" from this year's crop of UFA's and late rounders. Just my opinion, you are certainly entitled to yours. I'm looking forward to seeing it play out, man I can't wait.
