A ton of talent will be available without reaching too much this year. If we do end up getting the number one overall pick and Luck is there its becoming a no-brainer. Then with the first pick of the second round good potential talent will still be available. Linebackers Von Miller or Bruce Carter seem like superstars in the making? Auburn DT Nick Fairley is a monster. Then the third round, Kyle Rudolph TE ND might be here with his injury, or maybe even Gabe Carimi could still be available, I think other OTs are emerging this year and NFL teams are forgeting about him and going with the trend to draft speedy secondary cover guys might push him all the way to the first pick of the third too. And he just seems to have the body. 6'7" 327. Basically what I am thinking is that to build our team we have to draft best available players. But I think that our needs and league mentality favors our draft, next year. Especially when we might have the huge advantage of pick #1 in every round. Not blowing it is our biggest need.

Did Mallet just suffer a concussion at Auburn or did he just choke and come out of the game early for the backup who lit up for 300+ and 4 TDS? Possibly the system there not the Man Mallet. It is very possible we might not take a QB with our first pick and take one with the 33-36 pick. Heck, Mallet might still be there then. This years QB class seems really deep for potential franchise QBs. 1. Luck, 2. Locker, 3. Mallet, 4. Ponder, 5. Pryor, plus other guys like Cam Newton, Tyrod Taylor, Kellen Moore. Seems like not too many teams need a QB either. Our competition is probably 1. Seattle 2. SF 3. Jacksonville 4. Cincy 5. Minnesota. I dont see all five of those teams going QB in round one so we might roll the dice and try to get Mallet or Ponder in the 2nd round.

Every team has there own value chart for what a draft pick trade should be worth. A team would have to give us ALL of there picks in the draft to give us the value we would want. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME but it aint going to happen. We are not trading our pick.

UW produces QB's

The biggest problem I see with this draft is that its the weakest OL class in years. Also, a deep QB class, where a decent prospect could still be had around the 3rd or 4th. We have so many needs that it would be dumb to use a #1 overall pick on an OL guy who wouldnt go til the late teens or early 20's. The problem with trying to trade the #1 pick for more picks is that no team could make a worthy offer. But if they choose to go QB later I could possibly understand.

Actually Chris Berman pick was Bills 20, Jets 19 on sportscenter.

Followed the Bills since I can remember, 31 now. Watched all four of the preseason games. Read all of these forums, read all the blogs, watched all of the video clips at buffalobills.com and lots of other teams. I understand how the WW and the PS works. I have my opinions, but who the hell am I. I like what I have seen with Nix and Gailey.

A situational pass rusher. His role is defined? What was his role then? I see him being used when there is no one in the backfield, and/or 2nd and 3rd down and long shotgun situations. Ahh, he is a situational pass rusher.

7-9 is not usually that far off from the wildcard. Over the course of a season it could be as little as a handful of plays to make the wildcard with a 7-9 team. 1-15 would completely suck, yes we would get the #1 draft pick and get a new QB. But Locker, why? Just because he can run and throw pretty good, it seems like experts these days judge players on their bodies more than their drive, guts, and ability to win, the intangibles. Number One Overall pick QB's are not all they are made out to be. Since Peyton Manning I remember Dave Carr, Alex Smith, Jamarcus Russell, Eli Manning(whatever), Carson Palmer(up and down career), Matt Stafford and Sam Bradford(we'll see). Almost forgot the overrated Tim Couch. I know late round QB's bust too and its not like a Tom Brady and a Kurt Warner are easy to find. Just saying to all of you who are wishing for a 1-15 season for the draft. The NFL aint as easy as your fantasy football league.

I saw the header and thought of Cox and his middle fingers, I still remember and always will. John Elway for pulling the first Eli Manning shenanigans. I also hated him because it seemed to me he was so overrated. Now people talk about him like he is top ten all time, when he played he was like fifth-to-tenth best in the league. I would also have to say Mike Vick and Bill Romanowski.

I saw some on ebay too. Seems like a pricey ticket. Baltimore is hoping for a good year so it will probably only get harder to get these tickets. Find out if they scalp there too.
