  1. Sully doesn't need to run in skibbies to embarrass himself; his articles are enough. He hasn't a clue of what the Bills need or should do to win games. As a matter of fact he wants the Bills to lose so he can have some golden boy to come save the day. Like a weak woman in a fairy tale he wants a knight in shining armor to swoop his underwear jogging ass up so they can ride off to the Super Bowl together. Real men get up and continue fighting like the Bills have done all year. THIS years effort by the BILLS is what it takes to win. We must try our hardest to finish the season strong and open the eyes of the football world in order to attract the right FAs and positive analysis from the media to bolster our swag. EVERY FOOTBALL GAME IS AN EVENT. 16 events a year w their own unique energies. Old coots like Sully chase the "perfect man" dream when in reality, diligence regardless of talent is the true essence of team sports. Sully of course will be real clever in the future to jump on the band wagon with the "give the mob what they want" mentality. but real men know he's a Toohey (Rand/Fountainhead). WE MUST TRY EVERY GAME TO WIN.GO BILLS!
  2. not a big deal. its called "giving them the business" and its part of the game. sometimes ppl just react and make dumb mistakes happens all the time on the sidelines and on the field. i hate the jets regardless
  3. he's prolly the reason Josh got canned. "that was a keeper". he will get 1k but i predict we win the game.
  4. GOLD!!!!!!!: (could have left on Friday night if I pushed it, but I had a cute nurse)
  5. Basic tackling is not possible when sacking a QB. a pass rush off the edge lends itself to getting from point A to point B in the shortest amount of time. One hard angle if you will. while the pass rusher "rushes" to this point the QB has many more options to "ole" him or dodge him using higher advantage point due to the D-lineman's lower pad level. Stationary prey that moves suddenly is harder to hunt bc the many movement options. whereas a running back has only three: left, right and through you. leverage comes into play as well when u see a QB escape bc they are on both feet while defenders are flying around or cannot gather themselves into the "break down" necessary to make a "basic tackle". I think Kelsay is a great rusher.
  6. My heart gets broken w every loss but for these reasons(ur stat analysis) i continue to BILLIEVE! I appreciate the work youve done here. Chan is living up to the promise and this team IS already formidable.I just hate when a group like this works so hard but is left only w a bag of Sh*t at the end of the game.I cant stand these radio guys not only for their dumb Bills analysis but the fill dribble in between, they seem so dumb and act as if they are being paid peanuts therefore refusing to do a good job. I listen to them bc i have a great passion for sports in general and do my best discounting their assness.
  7. Fred Jackson is an incredible back! Both safeties knocked outta the game trying to tackle Buffalo's hard running and evasive back.Very impressed with his pop right back up ability and today's return to the game after being injured. He seems like he is wave jumping in the ocean or on a unicycle in a constant forward lean. right when some has a bead on him he seems to let them run right on by. He is as magical as Barry Sanders in his own way. I believe Chan simply was marketing Lynch with "great back" rhetoric and showcased him to get him the hell outta Buffalo. Fred Jackson is top shelf. any thoughts? What backs would you compare him with?
  8. I loved the celebration, LOADED with swag! Much needed to counter T.O, and Old-hoe's posturing. the closeups of T O were sickening. Very happy that SJ struck back.
  9. today is a bad bad day... but yes welcome to Buffalo! im a Detroiter now living in the Queen city and a huge Bills fan w season tix but i also love my beloved Lions. I been here a cuppala years and i have my own take on this great great city. the ppl r very nice and theres great food everywhere. but Unlike Detroit theres not a whole lot of shuttling from bars and hotels bc the stadium isnt all that far away, maybe 20 min ride from ur hotel. ur not gonna want to be shuttled in anyway, YOU have to get there early to see the greatest tailgate madness ever.its soo fun. i personally wudnt wear lions gear bc unlike detroit the crowd at Bills games is filled w young folks that PARTY very hard and might get outta hand w drunk loyalty and jeering.harmless boozy teasing...but ur big boys so handle urselves accordingly, the bills fans are very passionate.u have to experience the Ralph to fully understand the atmosphere. ppl share food and drinks like family. IMO there are 4 "party" districts that u can explore. i will start w my favorite and its called Allentown. have dinner at Gabriel's Gate excellent wings and check out the bars around that area. second "Elmwood ave" will remind u of Royal Oak but its truly ITS OWN THING. 3rd hertal ave area. this is an italian hood w great restaurants and a few fun bars. haha Last wud be ...i hate to say it but Chippewa/THEATRE district. every city has one one of theses areas that seem off the hook but in reality lacks substance, so if you wanna get ur jersey shore on thats where you go. as far as wings, youll here ppl talk about duffs and anchor bar. im here to tell u that everybody and there momma knows how to make great wings so just ask whereever u wind up and you will eat the best. i like McPartlins in williamsville. hit me up if you have any questions and maybe i will c u at the stadium.
  10. I have a great understanding of the game beyond stat rats and jersey wearing knuckle heads. If you read my past posts you can see that i called the Fitzpatrick workout. .500 for the Bills is possible in the NFL just like the predetermined champs, the Dallas possibly losing out from this point on. All negative nancys stay off this thread.
  11. as i said we need to get to 500. we still have a season... billieve it or not. i predicted issues w baltimore and pitt but if the offense plays as it has and the D improves. i see us at 500 before we face division foes that last 3 games. GO BILLS!!!
  12. The Cowboys are one game better than us. The pre season darlings San Fran barely won their first game today. We have already faced our AFC East that is very powerful and the rematches await the final 3 games. Now the task is to really BILLIEVE that we can get to 500. But how and what could possibly be the rationale for this daunting task? I don’t give a f**k what your opinion is of the Bills since the Jim Kelly years. This franchise is no tangerine Tampa Bay or the post #20 Detroit lions!!!This team historically scraps and fights under a north American winter sky. The players are not insulated from their fans by hiding behind red ropes and guarded skyscrapers ;They live with us and WILL get their lawns jungled and have their wings served small and NOT crispy. The reason why I bought my season tix again is bc the football has a component that the NFL has capitalized on and that is: WILL. The Will of men vs the Will of other men. Can this team WILL their asses outta this mess? Can this team hold together until the Drill of hope reaches them and and pull their asses up to the surface lol THIS YEAR. I aint no homer I just understand that it is very possible for this team to reach .500 bf we again face our divisional rivals. OK OK you wanna argue talent??? We have it!! View the totality of the team. Coaching? hmmm maybe but the season is long and im not overly impressed w/ a Shanny w a Mcnabb. Soo that leaves us w/ inexperience w/ a new system. Hopefully the kinks get worked out and the youngsters catch on as we face: RAVENS: 50/50 a must win for us and their QB is showing inconsistency. We shudda took one from NE and NE beat these guys. KC: Chan shud be prepared for these early bloomers that are now slippin Bears: QB problems LIONS: Draft, All the hype…They stink BENGALS: We knock #85 the f**k out and he was ambulanced off the field last we played. This time that ambulance better have bunk beds. Pittsburgh: We are due…at least for some twisted metal. The stadium is gonna go ape ****…with both fan bases haha exciting. Cleveland: We win this time 3 to 2 I see 6 wins somewhere in there. Pitts and Balty being the headaches. Now what is it that you see here.and you knuckle head bitchin and negative turds think about the cowboys, vikes and 49ers. Or just pop in ur jim Kelly glory day VHS tape. And scout the inconsistent QBs at the college ranks oops Colt McCoy did a fine job finally being one of the pack that got to play in week six only to lose. We are here bc Trent failed not bc of an old man that owns the team. I HAVE BEEN BUMMED but I see .500 bf the AFC EAST HITS AGAIN and im sure the players see it as well.
  13. Trent was very clever using the old "good leader" smokescreen during camp.He provided many reasons for his past failures and gave media all kinds of good sounding progress comments. Its easy for ppl/coaches to fall for that. He simply positioned himself in a safe position w/ the ones. A cunning coward can get to the top but its hard to maintain. Ive always thought that Fitz had the best wheels of em all and You need that when the pocket breaks down, thus...only one sack last week. Brohm simply needs that dark horse grooming to boost his confidence and he should emerge. Chan has played his cards somewhat correctly but has hurt the team by losing those first 2 games with this proven motivational technique. His risk must pay off against the jets. Trent made EVERYBODY look bad especially the offensive linemen. the C on his jersey stood for "cut" or "cant play". The last two games was the Scooby Doo moment when the haunted franchise ripped the football disguise off a Trent. "Send him away officer, he will no longer be able to allow opponents to tea bag him."
  14. there is nothing like the NFL at the Ralph. Im gonna be there goin Ape SH*T. LETS GO BILLS
  15. Jerry is a writer and NOT a football player; Even if he was young and with the physical tools he has NO heart to play this amazing game. I witnessed Mike Utley get paralyzed in Detroit, Ive seen teammates in college get maimed and their careers vanished. The force and energy of football must be played at full speed and players cannot take plays off especially at the professional level. NO TAKING PLAYS OFF bc not only do you risk getting hurt, but a teammate may suffer if you do not try your hardest. Each team must play their hardest for the entire season. the effort may or may not equate into Wins but at least the game was played right. Franchise QBs can be found in lower rounds (Brady)they can be discovered when theyre 2nd or 3rd strings (Favre at atlanta). So Sullivan wants to be the bad ass to pop the excitment bubble well its not gonna work bc this is the NFL and on any given Sunday. Its been proven over and over again that underdogs can rise. A losing season hurts everybody, the value of a player, the value of the franchise, job security and fan base. The minute this team lays down im done w/ them they can go 0-16 and I'd still be down w them so long as they WENT BALLS OUT trying. One positive thing about Sullivan's article is that perhaps it will help the fins underestimate our team. Perhaps that was the only way that this a manipulator can help us win. You don't manipulate the spirit of the game; you must play it hard and with all your might despite whatever off season mistakes or bad risks were made.
  16. "Lord have mercy" hahaha he does get swallowed up. haha lord have mercy
  17. for whatever reason ive been really spending alot of time on these boards. i guess i really enjoy reading everything BILLS related.but a post like this makes it all the more interesting as im asked to reflect and relate my Bills passion w other aspects of my life. additionally this post is written so well...i feel like its an article outta the New Yorker. how entertaining haha.So yes i get that not pushing church thing. thats not the point here. Its another way a Die Hard fan feels. I too aint the type that will steal money from my momma to buy and paint an ice cream truck red white and blue so i can do a WWF flip off it destroying a beer pong table.
  18. I love this post. I guess i pray for them when i go to church...hahaha this is so odd to be writing about, but yes when i do go i pray that they win. after church i rush out of the place and get fired up lissinin to WEDG. i'm not a big tailgater,im usually full from a great breakfast, i park and walk past all the hoopla focused ready to munch on a few reeses cups. hahaha.im not overly religious but its nice to spend time w ppl spiritually and even better w booze-adrenalin pumped up freaks. i quietly munch on candy and high five like a mutha f@#$ker when we score.
  19. Thanks cookieG. ur research, great writing and link will not sit here wasted in this post. Youve shared knowledge w me which i greatly appreciate.I will apply this to my business and life.see it;feel it; adjust to it. those screens were executed very well and i hope to see many more.im not just a rah-rah guy i certainly feel that our team will need to improve but im seeing that improvement not only w the calls and coaching, but also the players themselves. its exciting to see a team do something new and improve as they go.im not putting too much weight in the PS games but i am impressed w how the roster has formed and the depth chart. i like that vets on the bubble and youngsters wo pedigree ot a chance to rise and fight to be part of this team. its refreshing. i cannot wait to be at the Ralph and watch this team give it their all.
  20. Well, where do we have a lack of talent? linebackers? how are we less talented than last year? are the defensive FAs scrubs that dont know the 3-4? Trent? at lest tell us as oppose to just saying we suck.4-12 is worse than last year. Are we healthier this year? are we stronger?
  21. i like that you used "might" haha bc you just dont know. also football is brutal violence where genius doesnt work...but its how we attack or what kinda fight we have in us. I chose Sun Tzu only for the prose in its translation. But the quote is really still true in modern battle today and always will be found in good leadership. U can ask any man w balls "What should we do in a situation where we are at a disadvantage?" and these rules will be expressed. Football is a war game with planning involved deception is only a part of it. Confidence in the face of risk is another factor as well as pure power. Will stroud suck as a DE? Will Kyle be a good NG? Can Spiller handle 25 carries? Is having Spiller + OT Bell better than just getting Anthony Davis or Buluga? This is the type of analysis that is required and thought about in a we must win now situation. nobody cares about the buffalo bills or thinks we can win but yes as a fan I do. therefore I appreciate the critical actions that CG is taking with what he has. this is America..."no past only frontiers" -Donald Draper. theres a modern qoute for you
