When did I say he will only get better? That wasn't even remotely what I said but nice try buddy. And the last part made me chuckle.

I didnt say “you” said it. But look thru this thread or any topic related to josh on this board and its only puppies and rainbows. It only gets better.

Yikes there 808, do you feel better now that you have fully expressed yourself? by the way, how many of those turd bag QBs won ten games and sealed a playoff appearance at week 14 in their 2nd year?  How many of those turd bag QBs have beat the cowboys soundly in their house? How many of those turd bag QBs were likely candidates to win the division in their 3rd year? You my fellow fan desperately need to burn down a fatty and enjoy your favorite beverage while doing so. You come across as a most unhappy individual, kinda feel bad for you, those seventeen years of the recent past must have had you “close to the edge”...

    Go Bills!!!

You mean the 8-8 power house cowboys?
fitz beat the pats that won a superbowl?
my issue is josh gets gold stars everyweek from his fan boys for climbing out of a self dug hole like he did something amazing. Bills fan are just soo accustomed to poor qb play that mediocre seems great.
he had some moments. But to not acknowledge he had more wtfs than ups is not what ima do.

So if Josh ends up being great, does that mean you won't be back? That would be 2 wonderful things.

My feelings dont get hurt when josh plays bad like some. Ive come to reality with it. Im not going to build him up and look past his warts by saying look how strong his arm is tho! He tries the hardest!
Until he actually shows he is better. This is him. And projecting that he only gets better is not realistic if youre not also saying he could get worse  or stay the same.
??‍♂️But sure ill stop coming here if you stop too ?

  3. Ill be back to cash these checks after he plays a few games and the sky is falling for some. I want him to be good. But i think the holes in his game arent fixable. But you can conceal them if everything else goes right. But i dont think he has the game for a qb in the year 2020. He woulda been good in 1975. But in todays nfl. I dont think so.

Did Kyle Boller have similar stats to him during his first two years? What did his third year look like? Not sure if the "strong arm" comparison holds when you look at the full spectrum of QB comparisons

Yeah similar first 2 years. Youve seen the numbers.  ? powered by a good defense. Very similar.

Would you also complain about your situation as though you have it so bad when there’s a global pandemic occurring and you could literally make yourself a life-changing amount of money with the strike of a pen?

Again, it’s his prerogative to hold out and do what he’s doing. No bones on my end. It’s also rather silly to act like he’s being held hostage by a $20M guaranteed contract offer.

how did scottie pippen feel when he was the 122nd highest paid player in the league and everyone told him it was a mistake but he didnt wanna risk injury and not get paid more?

youre too focused on how much it is in front of you. When you know for a fact youd get 80% more by just saying you dont want to play on a franchise tag.

If players went on your logic they would be getting paid far less and owners would be hoarding wayyy more. Pay the players

And if that’s his decision then that’s fine. All I’m saying is that claiming some kind of victim hood when the stroke of a pen can put you in the top 0.1% of income earners in the world doesn’t smack of having no options; nor is it going to gain empathy

Risking 80% of your value because people view that 20% to be top pay regardless is short sighted. I wouldnt risk 80% for 20 just cause its more than most people make.

  7. I believe his contract is really only like 4-6mil per year. New team isnt responsible for bonuses. I could be way wrong. But i think its not some

bloated mess people think it is.

im with alphadawg on this. The rams

changed the way they used him. Him and devin on a rbbc would be a huge boost imo

  8. For all the talk about we drafted josh cause of his arm cause he could play in buffalo weather it hasnt really worked. Now we make an excuse that the weather was bad for him.

also i think he and ej have something in common and it seems they have “slow eyes” he has a stronger arm and gets away with winging things in late. But it seems very similar to ej. And i dont see many saying it that way.

Sorry but no below average QB is 5-1. Stop blaming him for the lame play calling and coaching telling him to throw 7 yard passes all game. If you want 300 yard games, then you will have to wait for 1) another outside WR because we only have Brown. 2) another coaching staff because this one is conservative and isn’t playing KC ball.

What did mitch trubisky finish with last year? blake bortles was 13-3!!! Hahahaha

I didn't think this thread was grading the offense, but rather Allen. Do you recognize the difference?

Do you? He had an underwhelming day. If you guys want to play everyone gets a trophy participation awards thats cool you guys can hand out all the above average grades you want.
it wasnt good. Multiple times during the game the showed wrs open and him not even looking that way. Over throwing brown/roberts by 10 yards was bad. Had a nice throw to brown on the td and a good throw over the middle to knox which he dropped but that was above average.
maybe it was above average for josh allen but not for the NFL in 2019.
Happy they got the win but that wasnt above average.

Two Tds and no turnovers is above average. 32 TDs and 0 INT over a season would be by far the best season in the history of the league.

Yeah except he isnt even close to that.

you can be critical of play. But people giving him above average grades is insane.

he was missing throws and not seeing the field well. The team won and thats great but that is not an above average performance. what do you guys consider average?

  12. D

its 2019 and it was a below average performance for a qb against a historically bad defense.
he should be dominating these types of teams. But he doesnt. Takes bad sacks. Airmails wide open players and isnt seeing the whole field well.

i think some of you are just soo accustomed to watching bad qb play that mediocre play is like a breath of fresh air.

    A-excellent

    B- above average

    C- average

    d-below average

     F-fail

what about todays game is above average? Its 2019 and our qb can barely get 200 against a historically bad defense at home!
its ok to be critical guys.

What are you talking about?! Josh rolls to his left avoids the sack, the backer comes up for secondary rush help. The sideline isn't an ally in this play, its more likely to result in a non completion or similar pick to last week where the DB comes over the top to pick it. Josh sets his feet and throws to where Yeldon should end up if he keeps running. If Yeldon doesn't stop running across the field its right in his chest. That's not on Allen, that is on Yeldon, and in future scenarios Yeldon will learn that Josh wants him to keep coming.

so you agree its a scramble drill. Yet in scramble drills they roll. And all pass catchers comeBack and roll toward the side of the qb.
yeldon and the other pass catchers Hesitate when he gets caught up. Regardless. Ball never came out on time. Throw it away. when josh is throwing on time at the top of his drop backs he has looked soo much better. But you just dont throw that ball into that coverage in an scramble drill . Dont make excuses for him.
i want josh to be the guy. This is on him. Its ok to say it. He makes some awesome plays and then there is these. Its on him.
