  1. He's just about the most serious man on tv. Seriously...watch his show. He could talk about peanut butter between warm toast and you would think he was talking about his wife being murdered.
  2. whoops he just had Barney on and did a 180 and endorsed him lol...WHAT ENTERTAINMENT! :/
  3. lol He's spending about 15 minutes of the show pumping himself for the Kerry's interim senate seat
  4. this is what happens when you win 4 football games in 2 years
  5. I would say of MSNBC they benefited from pumping the close election spin and basically following w/ Nate Silver across the commentators (with the exception of Joe...whom few acknowledge is on the channel since many conservatives don't like him and we all know liberals don't wake up until noon hehe). Also they came down brutally on Obama after the first debate. So they definitely do no hard news and it's almost entirely left leaning commentary ... but they still seemed less oblivious than Fox this last election cycle. And they don't really try to pitch themselves as fair and balanced or as hard news...their slogan is actually something about being progressive or leaning forward or something...they are what they are and they know it. But like I said...they came of looking much more biased based in reality last election cycle as opposed to fox which was sort of biased based in fantasy last year. I think I read O'Reilly lost half his audience and Hannity 1/3 after the election (which is too be expected since election drives ratings...but Hannity's drop was beyond that). That said, this is not a defense of MSNBC they are bad on the whole no doubt a left propaganda machine NO DOUBT. BUT...I don't mind Joe and don't hate Chris as much as others. Also Ezra Klein has no show but guests hosts VERY OFTEN and Ezra Klein does great shows. He's the only one on Fox or MSNBC that even tries to get into the deep and teach. They need to hook him up and make him the prominent commentator.
  6. Just 1% of Americans accounted for 22% of health care costs in 2009, according to a federal report released Wednesday. http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/washington/story/2012-01-11/health-care-costs-11/52505562/1 Bring out the firing squad
  7. he would never do it
  8. Should we make our world over to guarantee that everything in it is easily understood by a child?
  9. Stop taking yourself so seriously Magox not every post acknowledges your existence
  10. haha, not at all it is funny how you hate anyone talking about it though....it personally offends you for some unknown reason
  11. lol why are you so uptight about internal politics of the GOP? It's not a bad thing or a good thing it's just a thing and it's an interesting and important develop to watch. Untwist your panties gentlemen.
  12. oh man this topic is funny

  15. just pick a number that sounds right and then discuss things assuming that is right...don't ask others what their number is either not worth the trouble
  16. Anyone here that story about Boehner yelling at Reid to go !@#$ off during the whole mess? lol
  17. True or not all I'm saying is Cubans sort of hold out from the grouping into the Latino community as a whole..some do....some just stick to Cuban and many just consider themselves "white" ^^of course I say this from my experience simply b/c I live in Florida and know many half-Cuban people who hold on to little to no hispanic culture and also have few outward physical traits that distinguish them at all...many of my friends in college laugh that they got to pencil themselves in on their applications as hispanic given they don't think of themselves as a minority^^...once again just my experience.
  18. Latino youth def. identify together more than separate as do Asian. Maybe Cuban is the exception...that's just my perception of course...anyone can disagree in good faith.
  19. Colin Powell for speaker! lol
  20. Well lets see if Boehner can return with merely 1 ballot today
  21. IDK Obama can play hardball which he will, and he has a compelling argument if he communicate what the debt ceiling really is to the people...but all in all...he's going to have to deal on that one and I wouldn't call it an "upper hand" but it will be better than it was this last month.
  22. lol nothing gets by you, quick wits are a virtue Anyway I wouldn't care to see Boehner thrown out...he's fine considering his possible replacements and the circumstances of his speakership.
  23. http://www.politico....5687.html?hp=r1 Some really conservative people on here demand his head for anything and everything lately...most recently the last minute "deal" (if you want to call it that) to stave off the full cliff for now. But w/ this Sandy vote issue...it's just more weight on his back and now not just from the far right...now from more establishment right on top of it...could he be done by next week? Christie was talking up Cantor.... http://www.rawstory....g-sandy-relief/ King angry as well. ,,,
