  1. Buddy Nixon and I highly doubt that anyone would be promised a promotion before their first day on the job. Promised that he would be considered? Perhaps. Anything more is hogwash.

Even be put in a position to ensure he is immersed in situations which will increase his experience in readiness for promotion but I agree, not going to promise him a promotion.

  2. Free agency is why all this draft talk is a mute point at present because the holes filled in FA will then dictate where we draft.

  3. The whole point was just that, to tell the story not often told. Everyone hears about the people who are successful but not necessarily about those who did not make it. To know what it was like to be cut, to know what its like to always be on the periphery but never quite get where you hoped. Thanks for taking the time to read it though and I appreciate your points you made.

  4. I don't know if i am even allowed to share this on here, if I am not allowed I will take it down immediately, but I recently conducted an interview with Rajric Coleman and wrote an article based on Rajric and his rise through high school and college ultimately to the NFL. Rajric was here as an UDFA the year of the lock out and I just thought it would be interesting to tell the story of someone who wasn't a star really. There's also an audio interview linked which Rajric did later with my friends at "Overtime Ireland" which is excellent. Anyway if you are interested I have included the link here. I hope you enjoy.

  5. You guys are forgetting that the rookies with the new collective bargaining agreement dont get the big monry anymore and the 6 million is way too high. We also can get rid of Kelsey and edwards for 11.5 million and restructure more deals to get more room we have roughly about 25 million to spend on free agents and that is probably 3-5 players because once the season starts they dont have to be under the cap.

Not just that but surely every team has to find $15m to sign rookies also. With the league average being $11m then there appears to be a discrepancy here? Or have I got that all wrong?

  6. Weeks would have been a better term to use. But you're exactly right, the next week will be the most interesting week until draft time.

I think free agency is more interesting than the draft this year. The draft is about the future but reading what Nix said I think we will be seeing how confident they are in the team being competitive this year. I think they believe they can win right now and will spend big. We'll see but I am looking forward to the next few weeks more than I have in years.

  7. Not everyone is jumping off the bandwagon. I won't post much this week because it sickens me to read the board after a loss, but I'm fully supportive of this team and its leadership.

Couple of Ws the next two weeks, and the 7-3 Bills go to NJ for a little payback.

    +1

I'm the same. I don't tend to come on here a lot when we lose. Totally behind the team and the coaching staff.
