  1. see my post above - TEN doesn't have a choice.......if albert wants to leave, he will
  2. i think it has less to do with C2C and more to do with the fact that the bills value having guys who excel at special teams in those backup spots (see corto and costanzo, and stamer and haggan before them)
  3. i think the depth was fine this year - when you lose one of your starters, your top backup, and a rooke who was being counted on for a big special teams contribution of course your going to appear "paper thin" there.........take 3 players off any unit and it will look thin
  4. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/07/26/...in-his-freedom/ he'll be a UFA - TEN is not allowed to tag him again and he'll go the highest bidder, plain and simple
  5. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/11/16/...nchise-peppers/
  6. it should also be mentioned that jenkins came with a huge contract extension (20M guaranteed i believe)........stroud is playing under his existing deal given the differences in contract and the age of both, i'd rather have stroud
  7. i'd rather have the much, much younger jason brown.........he would solidify the center position for years to come jake grove is an intriguing option as well
  8. well you asked why those qualities matter and i told ya so if you want to keep throwing out the meaningless softballs i'll keep knocking them around, but you're kinda wasting your time........doesn't matter how much you or anyone else complains about kelsay, he's going to be a bill in '09
  9. because the bills think those qualities are important and, at the end of the day, there opinion means a lot more then you so whether you like it or not isn't really the question here - it's what the bills like, and they have proven they like kelsay.......no question in my mind he'll be back in '09
  10. people can complain about it all they want, but kelsay will be a bill in '09........he's a good locker room guy who brings it all on sunday........is he the most talented player? nope, but he does his job and works hard..........yes, he was a big part of the long LJ run yesterday, but that is one play and he was far from the only one out of position - why aren't you pointing the finger at them?.........and i don't see how any evaluation of his game yesterday ignores the two tackles he made FOR LOSS
  11. http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/11/16/...nchise-peppers/
  12. if he was a fantastic blitzing LB he would have had 2 sacks yesterday, with one of those resulting in a safety.......he ran through the gaps and got to the QB - any LB can do that.........part of the job description is to wrap up the QB when you get there and bring him down got to make the play when the DC puts you in position to make one and his pass coverage skills have been poor all year and were on display yesterday
  13. how many teams have scored 54 points on them this year? how many have scored 40 points on them this year? when is the last time that buffalo scored 54 points? connect the dots
  14. i'm sure that had nothing to do with an absolutely ridiculous offensive explosion maybe, just maybe, he should have been up there all year so he could actually see the defense and what they were doing? i swear this has to be one of the worst coaching staffs in the league
  15. i remember he started the year on the sidelines, as there was a big article in the buffalo news or d & c about how important he thought it was to talk to the players face to face when did he switch?
  16. i'm not saying ban him, but i'm also not impressed.........that was about the worst possible audible he could make........sophomore or not, he shouldn't be making those mistakes........i understand that not everyone heard the audible, but that is something he has to account for when he decides to change the play..........i'd rather see him run the play as called and tuck it under his arm vs. calling a play which is designed for failure
  17. he did change the call on the third and goal - from a pass to a run.......marshawn was promptly stuck with a 3 yard loss with the pats defenders not even hesitating on the play if that is how trent audibles i'd rather he keeps his mouth shut
  18. for some reason i'm actually dying to hear his post game remarks and monday press conference yes, it will probably be more of the same but maybe, just maybe, he'll lose the same old garbage and give this team the kick in the ass that it deserves
  19. throw the red flag down the refs throat jauron!!!!!!!!!!! it is ridiculous that he is too stupid to ensure that play is reviewed! it would have easily been overturned once again, the bills are already being outcoached
  20. wilfork is in......see the inactive thread
  21. i don't doubt you - belichek isn't above faking an injury report, so i don't see why he wouldn't fake an inactive list it does appear that wilfork will be playing though http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...s_inacti_6.html RB LaMont Jordan RB Sammy Morris LB Eric Alexander OL Wesley Britt OL Billy Yates CB Lewis Sanders CB Terrence Wheatley Matt Gutierrez -- 3rd quarterback on the bright side, they are definitely thin at RB and CB
  22. no mention of wilfork being out in that link......lamont jordan is though
  23. funny, lehman was expected to dress......maybe this means mitchell is getting around better? can't afford to lose a LB today with the lack of depth there glad to see that chambers is getting a shot at G.....he can't do any worse then whittle big day for corner and mckelvin - there play is one of the big keys to the game
  24. how is their any truth in "we already lost this game" when the bills in fact went on to win the game!
