  1. Arrogant college head coach was doomed from the beginning. He will be fired at the end of the season.
  2. yep.. Spot on
  3. I have viewed Morse as a stop gap measure. This off season draft his replacement or sign a FA. The interior O line needs an upgrade in talent.
  4. Oliver. He can penetrate and upset the pocket for Brady. That will help the secondary
  5. I rewatched the game after that segment. Oliver did the same thing a couple more times. The D line is asked to tie up O line so the LB or Safety can make the stop. When they flipped the play the same problem cropped up. Solution is easy but hard. Take out the OG/C gap and occupy them.
  6. It was an uneven game. Overall entertaining.
  7. I extrapolated that because he did not do his assigned duty at the point of attack. It became a trickle down.
  8. They are in the play off run now. You can write them off but I will not.
  9. Watched the play break down. Oliver was in the guard/center gap. He needs to take those two on. Instead he engages the center. The guard moves to the next level. He pushed Edmunds to the left of the hash mark. The back side guard is steam rolling Milano to the same area. Hyde had to choose the far side where the run was going or the cut back. He was too slow to react to that cut back. If you look, the OT was blocking Wallace. WR Harry had Epenessa pushed inside and the full back took out Dodson. Breakdown starts when one does not execute. Oliver takes the OG/C double team leaves Edmunds to fill the hole and Hyde to cover the outside. Thanks to Brian Baldinder
  10. Brian Baldinger with his Baldy's break down. Showed NE had success on one run play that they used effectively to both the left and right. Pulling the guard, Using Harry block down on the end and the full back leads to the wide side. Bills DEs and OLB could not shed the blocks and big runs happened. That is all on the players. Tampa Bay and others will take note. The run defense is not good. SOOOOO the offense will have to score early and often.
  11. I think they peaked with the KC win. Have been an average team since then.
  12. Interesting premise. The rest of this season will dictate how they move forward. Thanks for the post.
  13. It is a tall task. Treat is like a playoff game. Lose and you are done mentality. Go for broke and game plan for a victory.
  14. Put up or shut up time. Have to win so put it all on the table. No holds barred attitude.
  15. Tampa Bay is not invincible. They can be beaten.
  16. You can disagree with Woods.
  17. With the wind to their backs in the first drive they start running the ball. Then running between the tackles during the games. NE has a really good run defense and Dabol's game plan was inadequate. Not many pass routes over the middle. Like a TE or RB doing a drag route. Short and effective Dabil has most routes between the hash marks and sidelines. Great weather in Tampa Bay so air it out!
  18. It was an honest statement. Like it or not, this was refreshing. No coach speak. Just a straight statement.
  19. Which Bills team will show up. It all depends. Bills are good at bouncing back.
  20. They focused on KC. They conquered that demon. What they forgot that other AFC contenders (Tennessee, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh and New England) like to run the ball. They loaded up on pass rushers on last off season. Drafted OTs but ignored getting quality OGs. The line play, both sides of the ball, has been less than stellar. The O line again struggled in blocking but those woes were over shadowed by the defense ineptitude. Familiar names will be cut loose in the off season.
  21. I give Bass a pass.
  22. Brace for steady dose of NE and Belichick being awesome and penciled in for the Super Bowl
  23. Bad offensive line. Need better talent. They can not open up holes to run through. Get beat by speed rushers. Are not physical. Reliving the Pittsburgh game. Quicker patterns. More drag routes. Speed runs to the outside.
  24. I am puzzled about the design of the offense plays. Dabol likes to keep the receivers out side the hash marks. Only time them throw to the middle is on third down to Beasley. This offense tonight was bland and easy to defend.
