Dan Williams will be gone by pick 15 he could very easily go to Denver at 10.
Agreed. I don't think he gets by the Giants. But in NO way does he make it to 2.

For what it's worth, the CBS Sportsline NFL draft database is incredible.

Whether or not Bell can be a good OLT or ORT is irrelevant. We do not have enough talented OTs on this roster. If Bell can beat out Rookie, Meredith, FA and whomever else they have....then he's good enough. You can't just hand it to him like they did in '09 though. That was the cruelest joke of '09.

Brad Butler informed the team he is retiring from football.
Let's get real here. He played about 10 games for us and was adequate at best. Marginal talent and injury prone.
Helloooooo BULAGA!!!
-
If Incognito was back, would you see him?
Now THAT is funny.
-
HEY HEY....someone who gets it! Kudos to you!
Can we just agree that we suck at both positions and by draft, trade or FA, they need to get better? It's a bogus debate. If we go Bradford/Charlie Brown, Bulaga/LeFevour or McNabb/Okung, all make sense and we'll all get warm fuzzies. Just let it go.

Well, if we're not the most dysfunctional team in the NFL, we're definitely in the team photo. From watching Polian leave to horrific personnel decisions, we have been awful over the last 10 years. And shallow logic dictates that we should not pay to support such awful decisions.
But, as Bills fans, from August to January, it's what we do. Bills fans should be commended for their support in the face of such incompetence. And if we withhold our support, the team is gone and we know it. So these guys might be idiots and aholes, but their OUR idiots and aholes. Go Bills.

If I comment on that picture at all, that would make me gay (not there's anything wrong with that).

HOF...Even though he's at the end, he's the only HOFer out there, so I'd take them. He at least makes the Bills relevant, even if they stink. It's a bad football decision not to bring him back. It's a horrible business decision.
-
So....He's never done anything.

Name for me the rounds that the LT's for the two SUPERBOWL teams were drafted in. And where are they from college wise.
Weren't Bushrod and Johnson injury replacements for 1st round picks?. And...the fact that both teams GOT AWAY WITH using these two jamokes is more a testiment of their QB's/OC's ability to HIDE them rather than their overall ability. You will never see either in the Probowl and you may not see either start next year.
That being said, I like what I read about this Indiana kid. Surely sounds like a decent option if we go QB/LB in 1 and 2. Hell, I'm even open to drafting 2 OTs and just be done with the o-line for 4-6 years.

My only concern is: If he was really that good, the NFL would have found him last year. I look forward to seeing him and others at the combine.

Have seats in 132, 4 rows up and also in Jim Kelly Club on 45. Prefer the ones in 132 even though they are close to the field. I think they're good seats. We've owned for 4 years.
I probably like sitting in the end zones the best. About 25 rows up. The endzones are loud and are the heart of that stadium.
-
Tampa 2 LB. Not a great one either. Just what we had and he didn't suck. Useless in a 3-4. We need to aim higher.
-
That's a big topic.
-
I just wonder how much credibility you can place on some guy who "knows" about most teams. Fodder.
-
Agreed. Lynch's baggage drags his value way down. Whether or not you think he turned the corner, he has a strike or two against him. He's worth more to us in 2010.

Die thread, die....

I think owners have HUGE investments in these teams and should be able to demand reasonable returns...If that means letting Peppers, Peters & Clements walk, so be it.
-
And when the vans / trucks drive away with the Bills to a new city, maybe some of the sentimental fans can still gather on sundays there and tailgate and talk about the old days?
If the Bills stay in Buffalo its because there is a new stadium and fans are paying prices for tickets etc more on par with the rest of the NFL.
Why do the fans of Buffalo need to pay twice? First, you pay the ticket of constructing the stadium, because ownership will not. Then you pay higher ticket prices, if not PSL fees. Why not just raise ticket prices? I could care less about the stadium. As long as we keep the stadium full with decent ticket prices, all ownership will be happy.
New stadium or not...the Bills aren't going anywhere.

I know this isn't football related but I'm psyched for USA hockey tomorrow. A Sabre as the starting goaltender and a So B'Lo boy (growing up two blocks from me) representing us what a great time to be a Buffalian. USA ! ! Bring the gold !
Yeah, I played at Caz before it was covered. Psyched!

Soooooooo working our way around to this topic.....
If the elite talent isnt there but depth is.......wouldn't a swap of 1st round picks with Phili for McNabb make sense?
hmmmmmm
THAT I would do in a heartbeat....so that must mean it'd never happen. We'd have to kick in something else.

Because thigpen played pretty damn good for the Chiefs 2 years ago. The only reason they didnt keep him was because Pioli had a woodie over matt cassel.
Thigpen flashed briefly. He's been around forever and Bills Parcells has him #3 on the depth chart behind 2 recent draftees. He's no better than what we got. Think bigger. Think better. Hey, even Rob Johnson looked good for a while. If Claussen is there, you take him. That maxed out arguement is just stupid. If you can throw a 25 yard out in high school, does that mean you're "maxed out". If Claussen can make all the throws, you take him.

The only thing a new stadium gets me as a season ticket holder is a pesto chicken sandwich. And I don't want a pesto chicken sandwich.
THAT was a great article!! Great post.
