  1. Thank god!! I text the same thing to my friend today...perfectly puts it
  2. I like to hedge my emotions. For example, I picked up brandon jackson in my fantasy league and i am starting him against the bills. Would I rather see the bills win than see brandon jackson have a great game? Of course, but at least this way, when the bills lose this week, i can feel good about the fact that i kinda saw it coming. picking the pack in a suicide pool puts you in a win-win situation (unless there is a ton of money on the line). If the bills win, im so psyched i prob dont care about the $20 i lost in the league because the bills just pulled off a miracle. If they lose, i can at least feel good about surviving another week! Looks like we think along the same lines!
  3. I hope every Bills fan in the stadium BOO'S Trent off the field the next time the Bills are home. Please BOO?
  4. i liked how brohm threw to guys that WERE COVERED and let the receivers make plays. A play that stands out clearly in my mind is a short slant (only about a 5 yard gainer) but the wide receiver did not have separation but Brohm still completed the pass, i forget who it was to, maybe steve johnson? Brohm seems to have better anticipation.
  5. I dont expect to fare well on the whole, but I will be looking for individual bright spots!! Players Ill undoubtedly be watching (or listening) closely to Brohm Maybin Troup Spiller Carrington Hardy (Do SOMEthing for cryin out loud) Mckelvin
  6. Most important positions: OL QB Pass Rush Bills best positions: RB (three headed monster) P Moorman FS Byrd or Kyle W (4-3 NT which we dont play)
  7. thanks for the update!! Unfortunately it was not what I was hoping to hear. "Finally our qbs really did impress me today. Ditzy had accuracy issues and Trent had numerous passes batted down as well as a pick that he lofted up for easley. Brohm didn't really get much action." Is that a typo? Or did they impress you?
  8. Anyone get a load of Trent's side burns? Our QBs always seem to have some sort of strange facial hair/head hair. Flutie with the mullet like thing, then RJ with the long hair, then JP with the beard, now Trent's sideburns. Too bad they all stink/will go down as stinkers, besides flutie.
  9. my wish list is: Mckelvin Troup Hardy T Edwards SPiller
  10. alright everyone, who are your most valuable bills right now, and who will they be at the end of the season IN ORDER? Here are mine: Right Now... Lee Evans Jairus Byrd Kyle Williams Moorman Fred Jackson Seasons End... CJ Spiller Lee Evans Leodis Mckelvin Moorman Kyle Williams What are yours?
  11. makes sense to give roscoe a shot..there are so many question marks on this offense...but i guess you could probably say that about most teams in the league barring a few...
  12. http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/news/story?id=5229510 thoughts?? If we could get him cheap he would add some experience (hardy and easley have next to none) and roscoe is a mediocre slot receiver at best. Evans Crayton Stevie Johnson Hardy Roscoe Easly I would feel a little better about those 5.
  13. I'm glad you guys appreciate it!! Go Bills!!
  14. I'll go first... Bills 5.5 Wins-Under Leodis 3.5 INTS-Over Division wins 1.5-Over Spiller TDs 6.5-Over Wang starts 3.5-Under Brohm starts 4.5-Under Hardy TDs 1.5-Over Best QB 8.5 TDs-Under Games Trent Starts but does not finish 2.5-Over Wood Starts 10.5-Under Total Passing TDs 14.5-Over Maybin Sacks (OLB) 1.5-Over Byrd INTS 4.5-Over Draft pick 2011 spot 5th (over is higher i.e. 4th)-Over
  15. Let's see what you guys think, make your predictions here and I will re-post this after next season.... Bills 5.5 Wins Leodis 3.5 INTS Division wins 1.5 Spiller TDs 6.5 Wang starts 3.5 Brohm starts 4.5 Hardy TDs 1.5 Best QB 8.5 TDs Games Trent Starts but does not finish 2.5 Wood Starts 10.5 Total Passing TDs 14.5 Maybin Sacks (OLB) 1.5 Byrd INTS 4.5 Draft pick 2011 spot 5th (over is higher i.e. 4th)
  16. SJBF, I agree, its good to see our tight ends get involved. It would be GREAT to see Nelson becoming a top 10-12 tight end in the next year or so....
  17. i know i am beating a dead horse...would you rather me start a new thread?
  18. just watched the 1 on 1 w Trent from a couple days back.... If I am Trent Edwards and I am being asked these questions about the past, and past coordinators, and "changing OCs" and changing "gameplans"...this is what my response would be.... "I am not going to talk about the past. I have a great opportunity this year and I am looking forward to a great year as the starting QB. I am taking the bull by the horns. I am committing and devoting myself to being the best QB I can be this year and getting back to where the ball is in my hands and my teammates have confidence in me. Next question." Why cant we get an answer like that? Cmon trent, direct the interview, say what you want to say and start showing some leadership qualities.....I just dont see him as a strong enough personality to be a leader... I know everyone else feels the same way, I am just venting...
  19. VERY FUNNY, i liked the George W clip in there too
  20. I'm a little surprised....TO is still a good-great receiver that you have to game plan for. At the very least he is a capable #2. They are making it sound like TO should/might have to retire....but the way I see it, as long as hes driven and motivated, which i think he still is...he will find a home. If the bills didnt have such an identity crisis i would want to bring him back.
  21. Even if our offensive line played average, we wouldnt even know it because we have Qbs that cant make good quick decisions and dont have any pocket presence. It's the combination of an average to below average QB and OL that worries me.
  22. that is awesome, I work in midtown and I am definitely thinking about going!! Is this something that happens on a yearly basis? Will it be a mob scene or is it pretty laid back? Thanks ahead of time for the details...
  23. I would love to see Gaither become a bill for a 2nd and someone expendable like Youboty. It not only makes the LT position better, but RT as well so we would really be upgrading two positions. I would love to see Gaither,Tree, Hangartner, Wood, and Bell/Green/Meredith. Its a scary thought that one of Bell/Green/Meredith will be our starting left tackle day one, but I would feel a lot better with the best of those three starting at RT. JMHO
  24. i agree with adam, i believe they wanted an elite talent that can change the face of the game at 9, not just a role-player starter (d williams, d morgan, bulaga). Then they took the long-term approach with a lot of their remaining picks. I think the FO knows "win now" mode is inappropriate for this team as there is not enough NFL talent on the roster. Hopefully the draft picks by Nix will be good ones and we'll continue to take the long term approach and be truly competitive in a couple years. Inserting Mcnabb this year would have been a rerun of what happened when we got Bledsoe. You just cant fast-forward through a rebuilding process. JMHO
