My only knock was not getting players across the pond earlier... anyone who has travel from west to east knows it can take 3-4 days to adjust... we just flew back from visiting my Dad and you know took 3 days to feel normal.

Gonna be a long season with all the injuries on D... Young guys need to grow up fast... McD has his work cut out... talent yes but they need to learn to be in the right spot...

Woke up at 4a, check tbd, ate some leftovers, went back to sleep... wife woke up made coffee at 6:30... gotta get to store to make wings... and maybe bangers and mash... not... Still LFG Bills!

Getting ready for the flu and cold season... gotta boost those antibodies... Penicillin is so passe' when blue cheese is around.

There's a lot of places that serve wings limp and soggy upon arrival and the only solution they have come up with is to bread their wings.
I have been to a place with rave local reviews that was effectively wings breaded and seasoned like southern fried chicken, out into a bowl and a glug of sauce poured over top before serving.
The bar at the rink I play at in Brewster NY makes decent wing... but the sauce is underutilized unless you order extra.

Whenever a player suffers an Achilles injury I always wonder if there was anything to prevent it or was it inevitable.
Stretching if you feel tight at all but as others said, sudden movement... I did both of mine partially playing volleyball on cold sand... felt like something kicked me in the back of the ankles... mine were only 10-15% tears and I had to do a lot of leg lifts feet on end of stairs.. knots in my achilles eventually went away... but took a long time... just not sure about stress professional athletes put on them and how long for it to heal... for Tre there is always hockey.. Sabres could use a good back up goalie.

Didn’t Von have a partial ACL tear? I’m not an expert, but I think it has to be FIXED completely. Tre acted like Aaron Rodgers, he “knew”, but he was more outwardly emotional.
Different tendon and place... different stresses and healing pattern... knees are weird and take a long time to get flexibility back v. achilles.

Man, what a game.
McD showing the world how good he is as a defensive coordinator and play-caller.
Buffalo OC looked pretty darn good today too.
Smoked fish...what a smell!

Interesting thought but who knows. For a boundary corner tearing his Achilles I don’t think there’s any way he could come back this year at all though
Again it depends if its a full tear.

Achilles is min 6 month in a boot and surgery required if full tear... it is a low blood flow area needs lots of rehab... That being said rarely tears again and full recovery... what I dont know is if it limits speed and how long if it all the speed comes back...
I had two partial tears in my 20s and they never really effected me post rehab... so here is hopin its that..

Kincaid is our ticket to the Super Bowl win. He is the #2. He has to be kelce lite. If not. We’re getting bounced in rd 1/2. That’s why. That’s what you’re missing
He is a rookie, give it time... one of many weapons... liking that he catches everything and he looks like he is learning in a very complicated scheme... Kelce is a number 1 receiver... Diggs is the Bills...

Meanwhile, LaPorta already looks like Mark Andrews. Nice job by the Lions landing a cost efficient replacement for Hockenson.Different offense, different scheme... itll come and he'll have his day
D did what they had to and D line ate... allowing linebackers to feast.

I expect them to sadly be good, but all the fawning by experts saying how they will take the AFCE and ride into the SB is annoying.
I have always disliked the Jets the most of any f the East rivals, but God it would be so nice to see them start off the year going
0-4 or 1-3. It starts with your Bills knocking them off in Jersey, followed by games against Cowboys, Pats, and Chiefs.. so 1-3 could easily happen!
I live in NYC suburbs and local sports radio is insufferable right now about the Jests... hope the Bills kick their arses sending Greeny et al into swoons... either way if Bills win these idiots here will be apoplectic but itll take them awhile to settle down... if Bills lose I may not be able to listen to the radio on the way to work for months... grrr
-
Itll all be about Dorsey and Josh reading the defense on the fly... the more the Bills can adjust and be disciplined... Jets D-line is very good and they do have active linebackers but not sure any of them can keep up with Knox and Kincaid
There needs to be a thread of the officiating today
