  1. Im sorry but Marshall Faulk is the biggest piece of crap on NFL network. The dude seriously thinks he knows everything and he is the worst analyst on the station and IMO worst analyst ever. He is only on there cuz of his name.
  2. Dude Shawn Nelson was a beast until he got hurt and should have a breakout year. I may be a lil biased on him as he is one of my favorite Bills but he still is good and as long as he stays healthy should give us a solid option at TE.
  3. Im a huge supporter of Gailey and love the Spiller pick. I also believe that running the ball effectively wins championships and we are definetly on the right path in getting our solid running game. However the way I see it, for this year at least, even if we run the ball up and down the field our first four games, teams will start putting eight or nine people in the box and we WILL be forced to pass just to give our backs some daylight. This could work two ways... 1) The opposing defenses will wise up and put more men in the box and shut our running game now if there is no threat to throw. 2) With all the men in the box our recievers will see ALOT more man on man coverage, and with the abilities our recievers have in terms of speed and size, (Evans, Hardy, Parrish and Johnson) this could actually open up the passing game and give TE or Fitzy the oppurtunity to complete some balls down field. What happens could be the reason we finsish 5-11 or 9-7, 10-6. Thoughts??
  4. At first I thought I wasn't going to get one but after hearing multiple interviews with him, especially the one on one from bb.com about him wanting to be like Warric Dunn by giving back to the community and never picking up the paper and seeing something bad written about him, I need one. What's the best website to buy one off of?
  5. If we don't get what we want for Marshawn it may not be such a bad thing. What do you think about a Wishbone formation with Spiller and Jackson on the ends and Marshawn in the middle. We could use it on goal line situations or third or fourth and short. It would be pretty scary situation for the defense...thoughts?
  6. I always thought that the Bills should go with an offensive lineman with their first pick, but doing some research I believe the depth of tackles in this draft is so big we can get a solid devensive guy with our first and still be able to get great lineman in the later rounds, however there are only two players I would select ahead of these lineman. The teams with offensive tackle needs are: Buffalo (9), Cleveland (7), Pittsburg (18), Indianapolis (31), Kansas City (5), Oakland (8), San Diego (28), Dallas (27), Wash (4), Arizona (26), Seattle (6), and San Fransico (13 & 17). Washington's pick could be OT, but if Bradford or Claussen are still on the board, Im sure Mike Shannahan would love to try and groom another Elway. KC might go OT as well, however it wouldn't surprise me to take Dez Bryant and add to Cassel's arsenal. Seattle, Cleveland, and Oakland all need tackles but there are stronger needs in other areas that they should focus on first. That brings the Bills up with only two left tackles off the board, ideally the Bills coulda trade down stockpile picks and still grab a high profile tackle. If they can't trade Buffalo would be best to go with McClain and believe it or not Brandon Graham. McClain to me is an obvious choice IF he is still there. I know you all know the stories and history already with him and the 3-4 so i wont annoy you and repeat it. Im surprised Grahams name hasn't been brought up much on this board. The dude is a monster and can make the transformation to OLB very easily. He showed how much heart and effort he brings to all the coaches in the Senior Bowl and has been continuing to impress scouts with his workouts and work ethic. If McClain is there, we need him; If not Graham is going to be a star and would fit perfectly in Buffalo.
  7. Why would we draft any quarterback who idn't used to playing in the cold? Time after time we have tried Qb's from California and other warm weather states (with the exception of Jimbo) and it hasn't worked.
  8. If we can get Torry Holt for a good price why wouldnt we at least take a look at him. No one really wants him so its realistic to think we can get him for a good price. I know he is old and not as fast as he was but he has proved he can get open and would be a great leader on this team not only being a vetern but maybe he would be a great teacher for Stevie Johnson and James Hardy. If he shares his knowledge of the game and work habits with Hardy and Johnson, and they still cant produce we will know that we need to look elsewhere. A 1 yr 8-9 million dollar deal for his help on and off the field would benefit everyone. IMO Thoughts?
  9. If its a "snowman team" why do you have players from Auburn and USC in the mock draft? Last I checked there wasn't much snow in those states
  10. As far as I can remember Buffalo has not done a single thing to help this team get out of the gutter. Ever! I think the two biggest off season moves the Bills have made were T.O and Rob Johnson and we all know how those turned out. We even have the most bust drafted in the first round starting from Erik Flowers up until last year with Maybin. Ralph may not be as crazy as Al Davis but it seems they are on the same stupid medicine
  11. With Maybin getting moved to a brand new position he needs a veteren that will teach him how to play the game. Not only on the field but off. Porter is a physical monster and does his homework. With him in Maybin's ear 24/7 about getting in the gym and film room Maybin might learn how to play in this league. Plus I love his attitude... wouldnt it be sweet to finally see someone in a Bills uni jaw jacking with Wilfork or Brady at the 50 yard line before a game. It would jack me up if I was on his team.
  12. With as bad as the QB's are in this years combine, why are we talking about someone who wasn't even invited?
  13. That will go good right next to his MVP trophy... O wait...... Who cares do something on the field.
  14. There is no reason in the world that Buffalo should not make a serious push for Porter. He fills a huge hole at outside LB. Isn't going to break the bank. He would be a great teacher for Maybin. And what I think is most important he would bring an attitude to this defense that we have been lacking for a long time. Plus I bet he would love the chance to play Miami twice a year. Thoughts on why we wouldnt seriosuly go after this guy?
  15. On NFL Total Access they reported that the Cardinals only want a 3rd round pick for Anquan Boldin. That seems to be a very small asking price even if we don't sign him to a extension. We need help in our WR core and Boldin would fit in nicely. Thoughts??
  16. The Bears defense might not be an elite defense anymore but they are still good....Dallas' defense was the hottest in the league when Vick played them in the playoffs
  17. No. There would be a reason he fell that far down the ladder. If Clausen falls out of the first then something pretty significant made the teams not drfat him. I'd rather fill a DT or LB need and go with LeFevour in the third... All depending on the combine though...
  18. Would you trade Marshawn and our 2nd for SD's 1st? and Do you think they would actually take it?
  19. Jake Locker is going to be the #1 overall pick next year.
  20. Im not the type of person that thinks every FA should come to Buffalo, but Pierce could help. I know he is somewhat damaged goods and I don't think he is worth breaking the bank for, but if we can get him at a good price, which we might considering last season. It would not only give us the ability to draft a LB in the later rounds, but maybe re-united with Mitchell will spark something and he will regain form from the 07-08 season. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nf...ce_N.htm?csp=34
  21. I said he would bring his defensive mind...meaning bring the tools that he learned from rex ryan... and look at the Jets DB's they are very good
  22. We gave Greer plenty of chances and he just didn't fit in our system, it happens all the time in the NFL. It not like we didn't give him a chance or he didn't play hard for us he just fits in better in NO.
